Vacation rentals with a pool in Unguja South Region

Our stay in Karin’s house was beautiful. We had very interesting and eye opening conversations with the masai who guard the house 24/7. The pool was great maintained with regular water refills. Only the loud music from the local pub, which is a couple meters behind the backyard was disturbing. The location of the house is perfect you can walk easily to the beach or through Paje. If you love to try some traditional tanzanian food you have to try Zebra it is across the street from the road which leads to the house. On the first look it doesn’t really look like a trust worthy restaurant you would visit in Europe or USA but the look is pretty normal for the local standards. For good and cheap food and extremely good cocktails on the beach we recommend the summer beach bar very friendly staff and you can also pay with you credit card in case the ATM isn’t working.

The house was great and the location perfect to have private gardens and pools. Five minutes walk to the beautiful beaches and Hassain the chef and Esther who looks after the house made our stay perfect. Every detail was always looked after so we could enjoy our holiday. I would definitely come back and stay again

This is a Sri. I g place that is beyond words. A total haven. The pool is stunning, you can swim right from the steps and Captain Abdul is BEYOND helpful, arranging birthday treats, tours and just all round wonderful.

My stay at this beautiful property in Zanzibar was incredible. The house is truly a dream—spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. There is a very special feature in this property that is a private access to the ocean. It gives you your own slice of paradise. The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. The best managed airbnb I have stayed at! If you are looking for a less touristy spot in Zanzibar, and a place to unwind, walk the beach, chill in the beautiful garden, dip and cool in the pool and enjoy tasty meals, this is your place. We stayed with our two year old and she enjoyed the surrounding, the beachfront and exploring the sea puddles at low tide. We’d happily return as soon as we get the chance. Thank you, Lisa and team

We had an amazing time at Pano's Beach Villa! The location was perfect, we rented our own car and it was easy to find. We loved driving to Stone Town but being able to go back to our secluded and safe villa. Check in was simple and the book of instructions was very clear. We had one question and Pano picked up his phone immediately. The beach in front of the villa was amazing. Was paradise walking along the water every morning and evening. We were lucky to be here during a full moon, the nights were amazing! I highly recommend going to Zanzibar, and if you do, I highly recommend Pano's Beach Villa. Very clean, comfortable and safe. What else can you want.

Dii’s home was beautiful. The home looks exactly like the pictures and the pictures don’t do justice. Dii’s team welcomed us at the house where we were greeted with slippers at the door, a pleasant scent, cold water, and fruit. Karibu Jambiani! The team made sure we were settled and answered any questioned we had. The cleaning staff visited while we were there and were also polite and pleasant. Zanzibar island experiences power outages often, there was one while we were there. Dii made sure the generator was turned on and filled with oil. Our overall experience was 10/10! Thank you Dii!

Rashid was a great host, he responded to any questions I had within minutes. The two bedroom villa was booked so Rashid offered the three bedroom. The villa is newly built, and is 30 seconds from the beach. Housekeeping arrived the next day. The Wi-Fi was a little weak, and don’t expect to cook a full course in the kitchen. Great restaurants in walking distance without having to walk to the main road. I might be spoiled, but A/C would make this villa a 10 out of 10. I would rent again on my next Zanzibar visit.

Great place to stay, nice and quiet with a beautiful garden and two awesome swimming pools. Paola is a great host who makes wonderful banana cake and cappucino’s. Our room was perfect for our trip with 3 kids under 4, they loved it there, and we hope to be back soon! Grazie mille!

Peaceful and enjoyable place.

It's was an absolute pleasure staying at Kasa paje. The host were very helpful and friendly. They told us where to go and what to do so we had such a wonderful time. The flat was very clean and trendy with a really nice chilled garden to have dinner and breakfast. The flat was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool is very big with a very unique style. My son loved swimming in it and playing in the kids playground. The security guys in the compound were always walking around so we got that safe feeling when we were there plus security cameras everywhere. Overall we loved it and would recommend anyone to stay at Kasa paje.

had an excellent stay at baobab! the apartment was amazing, even better than the photos! we loved using the pool and outside area. the staff were lovely and friendly, especially barbara who made sure we had everything we needed :) would highly recommend this stay to everyone!
