Vacation rentals with a pool in Ukunda

Our stay at Pauline's place was fantastic. Pauline was really helpful even before we arrived and was there to meet us and help us settle in when we got there. She is welcoming and helpful and also careful to give space in her wonderful place. The place is cozy and there is really great attention to detail from breakfast each day to fans, books and games. The pool is beautiful in amongst the trees, very peaceful and the beach is an easy private walk away. Location is great - near the centre of things with easy access to everything, but is nestled in the trees so extremely peaceful. A really wonderful stay with an excellent host!

We were there as a group of 11 people (family and friends)to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. We felt we were in paradise. Amazing staff from chef Omar, Hemedi, and Abel our pool/security guy 🤣🤣. We were met with smiles every morning. Chef Omar didnt mind us invading his kitchen and cooking with him. The house is beautiful and the pool was the cherry on the cake. The beach is really 5 mins on foot. All you need can be done by hoping on a tuktuk or motorbike (that can be taken right outside the villa) and they will take you anywhere. Joris was amazing always available and ready to answer all our questions and take care of our requests. Thank you again for the wonderful memories. Hakuna matata

Overall amazing experience all around. Margaret the cook and cleaning lady was amazing. We really enjoyed the food and service. If you are looking for a secluded place - this is a great one. A couple of things to note: 1) The printed instructions are outdated. None of the beach guides were working there. But it wasn't a problem - we met Amos who did an amazing job. You meet him on the beach. 2) The location is a bit distant from the shops / supermarkets. It is possible to deliver things there but you should think about it beforehand. 3) In one shower there was only hot water and in another shower there was only cold water. Overall, the houses could use a bit of renovation. 4) There was some music coming from the neighborhood that disturbed our sleep on one of the nights. None of the above were major points - overall, the experience was amazing, highly recommended.

Great place with a lot of space and places to chill and hangout. Nice pool and walking distance to the beach. Can really recommend walking to the beach and visit Pallet Cafe.

One of the best places we’ve stayed for kids… swimming pool, play area, play house, and a kids room with toys. We were 4 adults, 4 kids aged 1-5 years and they were kept busy! The house was much bigger and nicer than even the photos showed. The outside area was fantastic for chilling with kids and friends. Lovely clean pool. Note that two of the four bedrooms open straight onto the outside area so might be tricky if you had more young kids who have to cross the pool area to get to you in the morning. Johnston the chef was amazing and Dorcas the housekeeper was lovely. We really appreciated that she came a couple of times a day to do her work rather than always being around - but was still just quick call away if you needed help. It was a short walk to the beach but more convenient with a tuktuk with the little ones. Other places in Diani were only 5-10 mins by tuktuk/ taxi so very convenient. We’d definitely go back again!

The place look’s way better than the photos. The place has a private pool which is clean and one can spend there free time there. Kevin was very welcoming and was easy to reach. Also, Paul was very helpful with recommending places to go visit. The chef who is available upon request cooks amazing Swahili dishes I totally commend her for her sweet dishes. There is also a backup generator in case lights go out, so that’s a plus with this place. Had an amazing time Kevin! Thanks you.

Great place and great location. Enjoyed my stay

Our stay at Eurika Villas was superb 😃. Marianne kept us informed and was responsive before, during and after our stay allowing a late check in to and out of the property. The staff were welcoming, attentive and used their initiative to make sure our needs were met. The pool was cleaned every morning and treated to keep us safe. Our rooms were made up and fresh sheets applied after 3 days and our personal washing and ironing was done at a small cost. One of the best parts of our stay was the chef, Josephine, who always had a happy smile and ready to play and dance with our children, produce pancakes on demand, as well as cooking the catch of the day and other requests during our 6 day stay. The villas are spacious and comfortable without being pretentious the property is extremely close to the beach (5 minute walk) with local bars including Namads close by. Its only a short journey to the shops. Highly recommend this property for service, convenience and value. We will be back.
