Cottage vacation rentals in Ubud

Away from the hustle and bustle from central Denpasar. Great opportunity to experience the life of the locals. The host is very responsive and helpful. Grab and Gojek will find it easily and it's not too bad to go the hot spots of the island. The place has a kitchen if you prefer or need to cook. It was a good cost benefit ratio.

A lovely room in the heart of Ubud. So easy to be able to walk to everything from the room. The family were so friendly and the staff were very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights here and was the perfect place. We also arranged the mount Batur tour through Agung which was great, all planned and booked for us for the next day at short notice for a really reasonable price.

Staying at Villa Kalih was an absolute delight. Tucked away in a peaceful and lush area, it offers the perfect escape from the busy city life. Despite its serene setting, the villa is just a short drive away from Canggu’s vibrant cafés, beach clubs, and trendy restaurants. We had such a great time with our family! You immediately feel at home due to the cozy decor. The view over the rice fields is just beautiful! The bedrooms are fine. We were not bothered by traffic. We had massages done a few times, Awan took care of that. It all went well. Every day, Awan made a great breakfast of your choice. We all liked it. Awan speaks enough English for the necessary communication. The supermarket across the street is very convenient, so is the simple restaurant at 20 meters. We also regularly ordered food through Grab. It was a first introduction to Asia for a few of us. Due to the villa, that first impression is great!!! The staff was very helpful and kind especially angga🙏🏼. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean. Pool was amazing. Really enjoyed our stay. Restaurant opposite had good food as well 🥰

Beautiful spacious villa with fantastic garden and cool pool. Quiet and off the beaten path in the jungle. Very helpful staff for tours or if desired for tasty meals. Far away from restaurants and shopping facilities. We had a relaxed, cozy time

Location was goid you got everything what you need. Although the bed and bathroom have a distinct sort of smelly. They need to try other detergent soap. Thus the communication when you need a service like floating breakfast is so slow. If you plan, plan 3 days before so you'll pretty sure you'll request will be accomodated. Otherwise kind and extremely respectful staffs.

Wayan and his team went above and beyond for us during our stay at their beautiful villa. The team were all very friendly and helpful all with providing their services with a smile. Our first time to Bali and they ensured that it was a fantastic experience. The villa was beautiful and in a perfect location; all great destinations were in walking distance and very easy to get around. The villa was always clean and kept after with a warm home feeling. We are so grateful for their stay and look forward to coming back.

Villa is completely what as you see in picture, we love it.. Restaurant you need and potato head is near by walking distance. Jodie has quick response while you asking anything. Ricco is driver who you pick-up or drop off you to airport, he is amazing man, thank you for him. This is the place that you can stay continously..

Loved my stay. Waking up next to my horse was a dream come true. I so enjoyed being surrounded by the gentle sounds of nature every day. Each morning started with the joy of seeing my horse right outside, true happiness. Also - really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen! Loved chilling and relaxing by the pool after my ride. Bed was exceptional too. See you guys soon.

This place is magical! A hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, it’s the perfect escape for those seeking a quiet retreat in nature. The cottage is beautiful and well designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Dewa and his team are so kind and amazing, and the (vegan) food offered is delicious. The tour of the village to the rice paddies/waterfall is an added bonus. 100% recommend this stay and would be glad to come back here myself.

Made is a fantastic host—super friendly and very responsive. We stayed at this house for a month and loved its remote location, away from traffic. As mentioned in the listing, geckos live on the ceilings, helping keep flies away. We got used to them quickly, though we had to clean up after them occasionally and they might make some noises from time to time. Since the house is near rice fields with lots of vegetation, insects, frogs, and spiders sometimes made their way inside. The pool, just three meters from the bedroom, was a big bonus, it was also regularly cleaned by local staff. The air was fresh, the surroundings peaceful, and the internet was fast enough for video calls, despite occasional freezes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were really sad to leave. If you’re looking to escape routine and experience Ubud’s authentic vibes, I highly recommend this place!

the place is alright. the biggest problem is that the neighbors across can eat hing you swimming in your "private pool" what the problem that ur isn't private anymore

A truly welcoming family, who did everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible and also invited me to a local ceremony. Thanks, that was impressive! The house lies in a traditional charming balinese courtyard, is spacious and kept clean with a great jungle porch. Don't forget incense sticks and mosquito spray for evenings outside ; ) Anyway I fully recommend Dek's place.
