I recently stayed at the Black Barn Lodge that is perfect for snowmobiling enthusiasts, and I can’t recommend it enough! Nestled right near the trails, this cozy cabin offered everything we needed for an unforgettable winter getaway. The cabin itself was warm and inviting, with a spacious living area that was perfect for relaxing after a day on the snow. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare hearty meals to fuel our adventures. One of the best features of this Airbnb was its proximity to the snowmobiling trails. We could easily access the trails and gas right from the property, which made it super convenient for hitting the snow early in the morning. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their passion for the area and snowmobiling was evident, and it made our trip even more enjoyable. The Black Barn Lodge is a must-visit! I can’t wait to return next winter!

Great place to stay, close to all the snowmobile trails

I loved this stay. I could walk everywhere in town. We came to xc ski and it was the only time we needed to drive. The stay included a heated garage space (which also heats the living space upstairs) It snowed some daily the entire 6 night stay and Rebecca had the driveway cleared by 9 or so every morning. The shower was fabulous once I figured out how to use it 'backwards'. The hot water took awhile but was endless once it cranked up. The plate of local baked goods when we arrived was delicious. The local roasted coffee was excellent. There isn't a TV but my laptop streamed most of what I wanted to watch. 5plus stars.

We just spent six days sledding and stayed at Diane’s place. She does a fantastic job of keeping the place very clean, organized and very well stocked with everything you’re going to need. it’s located right in the very best spot of the UP for snowmobiling as you can go pretty much anywhere from there in a day and is very close to the trail. For the cost, I would highly recommend this home to anybody looking to spend time up in the UP in any season. Thank you, Diane, we’ll definitely be back!!!
