There are many hills around, and it freezes in the winter, so it is better to have not only studless tires, but also chains.

It was a great property designed in a very quiet location.I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and great interior, so I would like to stay for a little longer next time.I thought there were few issues with the dishwasher and wifi not working.Overall, it was a very satisfying and recommended stay.

This is a great place to stay! I highly recommend this place. This is not a "hotel", it's a clean, well organized old house. That mean.. 1. this house has lots of rooms. it's really great that people can have private space to stay during trip. 2. We shared 2 bathrooms. sometimes you need to wait for the bath. 3. Things are not "new", but everything works fine. 4. the place is really really cool. it's a place where you felt like you have chance to experience a different life style rather than just find a hotel to sleep. 5. Gabriel reply really fast during the stay. answered a lot of my questions. overall, this is a great place

I stayed here for this snowy mountain debut.I was very satisfied with the kindness and relaxing for 2 nights and 3 days. I will stay there again if I have the opportunity to go there.

The place was exactly as it was shown and it was beautiful and comfortable. Took awhile to get up the stairs to the house but it was worth it. We had a little trouble with the IH while cooking, but the host was very responsive and helpful. Problem solved immediately. Overall it was a great experience and we loved the indoor Onsen very very much!

LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!

Recommend renting a car or plan on paying for taxi. The area is amazing right in the heart of nature and farming. However nearest station is 25 min walk and then at least half hour to Nagano or Iiyama. Very close to snow monkeys. Suggest bringing warm clothes for the winter months. Nothing like sitting next to a fire listening to the rain.

I used it as accommodation for a ski trip. It was also easily accessible, about 20-30 minutes from the ski resort. The room was also cleaned, so We had a comfortable stay. However, Karuizawa is cold in winter, so the baths were cold, but it felt good to soak in the hot water while being cold. I would like to stay again when I go to Karuizawa.

We loved our stay at Ninjin House. Luke and Mariko were very friendly and welcoming and the house is spotless, cosy and comfortable. Good location in the heart of Nozawa.

Our group of 6 adults loved our stay at Birch Cabin. Would certainly recommend having a car, despite proximity to skii slopes, as the walk looked arduous. In our case, with a car, we had a great time with no issues. The place was as great as it looked.

This time with 10 friends to ski, stay together, The house was warm and welcoming, the kitchen was very well stocked, Easy to prepare every meal ~ If you come to ski, the basement can also be a good collection of things, snow clothes to dry ~ A bit small unfortunately the location is behind the station, If you want to buy something to eat, soak hot spring, walk a distance ~ ~ We happened to be a bit windy and snowy, walked out and full of wolf XDs Really had a warm and comfortable stay overall though! ~ ~

Good value for money One of the rooms is in the attic. It's a little hard to move in. But the living room is big. You can put a lot of luggage. Overall it's great ~

The trailer house has a good atmosphere, and it can be enjoyed by adults and children. The climate was cold, but it was very warm and cozy in the house. The trains were used multiple times, and there were treehouses and swings, which children were very happy with. It was a really enjoyable experience.Great! Thank you so much. I thought the bath was a little narrow beforehand. I went to a supermarket called Apple Yuya Obo ~ which is about a 10-minute drive away. There were many baths, and the sauna was very pleasant, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I wanted to have a little barbecue at the meal, so I shopped at a butcher named Tominosho, but the beef and horse meat were delicious. I want to go again in spring and summer.
