Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tsumagoi, Agatsuma District

The view from the windows full of openness was inviting.The floor heating made it comfortable even in the winter.

The were seven of us, the apartment was very comfortable and met our needs with fully equipped kitchen etc. Justin or one of his staff was available to take us to the supermarket or for restaurant bookings when required.

We had a very comfortable stay! I would like to use it again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Yaeko’s apartment. Was in a handy location, comfortable to live in and very affordable! Yaeko was responsive, friendly and offered a discount coupon to use at the onsen next door. She also left some delicious homegrown mandarins which gave the stay a homely feel, thanks again!

We stayed with 7 adults and 8 children. The cypress bath in the hanging sink was one of the reasons why I decided to stay, but it was very pleasant. It was only for one night, but I was able to make myself comfortable.Thank you very much.

The bath is so beautiful! I was also able to use the luxurious living room! We can also talk about international stories. I recommend it because you are kind from start to finish!

It was a great property designed in a very quiet location.I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and great interior, so I would like to stay for a little longer next time.I thought there were few issues with the dishwasher and wifi not working.Overall, it was a very satisfying and recommended stay.

Had an amazing stay at Pete & Hiroko's place. We truly appreciated all the extra amenities provided without any hidden charges, unlike many other hosts these days. We'll definitely be back!

The building is old because it uses an old house, but the water area is newly remodeled and easy to use.There were also plenty of heaters, and it was a very comfortable place to stay.

From the get go Greg was so friendly and helpful always responding quickly and updating me before and during our trip constantly he was more than happy to help us with any questions we had for ski resorts restaurants and supermarkets close by. He also was kind enough to arrange us to be dropped to the train station at the end of our day and the Access to having a car at the property to use was amazing and so helpful with kids. Greg‘s house was homely and warm and had all the cooking amenities and washing amenities you need for a family. We loved the private cabin. Greg provided it was amazing. I’d recommend to a family five stars.

Without a doubt the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Patricks effort to go above and beyond, helping us get around town on his own time, setting up services with local shops, giving recommendations, and overall truly caring about our experience was amazing. Hakuba is a special place because of people like Patrick, and I can not wait to be back. (Hopefully staying at Kitsune)

We used it for the second time last year.It was a quaint facility with plenty of kotatsu and heater, and we had a pleasant time without the cold. The owner was very friendly, kind, and fun. I'd love to stay again next winter.

Nice little cottage.The bedroom, living room, bathroom, and everything is clean and beautiful.It was a little cold in the morning and evening, but the heating was strong and quickly warmed up.I also enjoyed the BBQ.

Well designed house equipped with everything you may need. Location is great. "Cortyard" shuttle bus stop which provides an access to all the Hakuba Valley resorts is just in a few minutes walk. Echoland street with all the infrastructure such as grocery store, ski rentals and restaurants is a 5-7 min walk The 4 of us enjoyed every day of our stay.

Darren was an excellent host and offered shuttle services for guests to grab essentials in the town centre. Restaurant and ski recommendations were also perfect, and very fast response times. Thanks Darren

The location was beautiful and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Great for a skiing trip with an amazing dry room. The laundry facilities were also a bonus. Daniel was an excellent host and very hospitable. He helped with recommendations for skiing, transportation, etc. and was very responsive. We had a great trip and will likely stay there again.

Lodge set up well for a group of 4, including practical furniture, amenities, heating, lighting, ventillation and decor. Homely feel with excellent access to village.

Karen and Greg were the perfect hosts and were always extremely helpful, from providing free pickups and drop offs at the bus terminal to helping with booking local restaurants and rentals. We felt right at home, and the beautiful apartment we were in was just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are cannot recommend this place enough.

Had a great time staying with Kazuhiro, he picked me up from the station and dropped me off. He also prepared breakfast and dinner meals for me!

David was super responsive and helpful, accommodation was a little cold but very manageable with heater/extra layer. 10/10 would recommend for 2-4 people.

Philip is an amazing host. Took time out of his days to help get us around to places and to/from the bus station when we arrived and left Hakuba. He also booked us several reservations and even dined with us on our last night at the private hotel pot place he booked. Overall this is a great place to stay and couldn’t find a better host. Thanks again and we’ll be back!

Dana & Reuben were very responsive & easy to communicate with. The lovely wooden chalet was very cozy & amidst a beautiful forested area. Many good Restaurants within 5-10 mins drive. Hosts gave us many dining recommendations & activity suggestions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay , a good base to explore Nagano prefecture in spring.

A well-equipped, comfy (if a little tight) serviced apartment. Keep in mind, it’s at the top of the town, which means a relatively long walk up-hill to get to the apartment (and then up steep, narrow steps). But if you can cope with that (incl every time you want to go in for groceries/food/etc.), it’s an awesome place to stay! We stayed mid-April and had free access to the serviced apartments’ onsen (available down the hill). We were also right next to a ski hire shop and the gondola up to the slopes for daily skiing/snowboarding. Reception was always available via message, and were really friendly and helped us out whenever we needed. The town is a little dead in the off-peak season, but it’s still a quaint, lovely place to be/stay and spend some time in the mountains.
