It was very close to Lake Nojiri and Kurohime Kogen. It is a cabin in nature, so there are many mosquitoes and other insects, but it has been woven.If you take good measures, there is no problem. I was able to walk around the cabin with my dog, and there were many other facilities that were pet-friendly, which was good. For example, pleasure boats, Kurohime Kogen Flower Garden, and Chibiko Ninja Village.It was nice to have a dog run in Kurohime Kogen. There is also a local supermarket less than a 10-minute drive away, so you can buy food and drink, there are restaurants, you can relax at home, and enjoy the local flavors outside. It was a trip with 5 people and a medium-sized dog, including an elderly mother and elementary school students, but we had a very good time.

I'd love to stay again in a impeccably equipped and well-maintained room. They were also very polite when guiding us, and we had a very comfortable stay.

I was looking for a rental villa with 3 families, 3 bedrooms, and 2 toilets.There were few word-of-mouth and I was a little excited, but I was very satisfied with the result.First of all, the owner is a woman and is very kind and nice.Next, this may be because the female owner is the owner, but the room is clean.The water pressure in the shower was strong, and the children were surprised, but personally, it would be too weak, so there was no problem.There were three small children, but the garden was spacious, and it was good to run around, explore, and play unlimited.BBQs are not available on the wood deck, so if you bring a tarp, you can BBQ even if it rains a little.At night, when all the lights were turned off, the starry sky was very beautiful and soothing.After the children slept, I enjoyed sleeping with only the adults who were waking up on the leisure seat.It's like when you've seen that many stars.The children seemed to have a lot of fun, so when will I stay there again every day after I come back to Tokyo?I'm going to ask you.Thank you for a wonderful healing time.I'm very satisfied.

I used it for 5 people. It was set higher than I imagined, and the view was beautiful in the snow season. The BBQ was also flickering during the snow, but the charcoal was new, the ignition agent was not detached, and the fire started smoothly. The same goes for the fireplace, making it easy to make a fire even if you don't usually do it. The kitchen was spacious and almost fully equipped, so it was no problem even if it was empty-handed. There are lakes and activities at the road station nearby, so you won't get bored. I didn't mind at all because it was in the description, but there are insects. It was winter, or the movement was dull, and there was nothing special just because I was there. It was really in a great location to enjoy the BBQ and more while still feeling the nature. We had a great stay in Haru's place. It's a really beautiful and comfortable place, surrounded by woods. The fire made the cabin cozy and warm, especially when we were lucky enough to get snow outside. Bedding was also very comfy. Haru is excellent at providing info and responding to questions, he also gave us great advice about where to pick up supplies en route. An easy drive to both Kusatsu Onsen and Karuizawa town. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

It's a lovely villa in a quiet environment.The cabin with the warmth of the wood is good.During the day, we enjoyed a barbecue overlooking Mt. Asama on the terrace, soaked in the nearby hot springs at night, and had a very relaxing vacation. We will be staying for a long time next time in our workcation.

The sauna was also great, but it was a little difficult to get firewood to put in the stove.We would like to stay there again, but we will buy a large amount of firewood in that case. Three of my friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The house is very clean and spacious, full amenities. The owner alway replied to me on time. I strongly recommend the place!

It was situated outskirts of the city but you can walk to the main area of the city easily. Even my parents at their age of over 70 could do it easily. The host is super responsive and dealt with issues very quickly, providing us pocket WiFi(free) and answered some questions about the stay with super speedy response, very attentive. There are plenty of sufficient equipment to keep it cool or warm and so many comfy beddings all around the rooms. Just make sure you close your hot water valve to the washing machine if you want to use hot water in the bathroom. :) It can only afford 1 car so you may have to find a spot in another place if you are planning to bing multiple cars. Kitchen may need some wiring consolidation but contain full sets of kitchen wares. If you want to experience a genuine Japanese style living at Kusatsu onset, this could be a good choice.
