Waterfront vacation rentals in Tropea

Loved our stay here! The house was very comfortable and is only a short walk from the beach. Gabriella is an excellent host. Will definitely be coming back to Tropea.

Marie was our saviour, having taken us in at the last minute after another booking fell through. Despite the late request, she was able to get the place in order super quick so that we had a safe place to land and enjoy the rest of our time in Tropea. The place itself is clean and well stocked. It couldn’t be better situated in the heart of old town. It overlooks a buzzing central square that is great for people watching. To top it all off, Marie’s partner gave us a lift to the train station. Great stay overall. Bravo. Merci!

Truly spectacular view! We are a family, husband and wife with 11 year old daughter and grandmother. We enjoyed a lot of time on the terrace (with armchairs, couch, coffee table, and table with chairs) for breakfast and some dinner. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for a family. Enzo was a perfect host. The apartment lacks some privacy having the terrace face to face with Enzo's, but it has never created any problems. Enzo was always very respectful of the situation. The beach, reachable on foot, (although we were always driving because the road is steep), is nearby, small and very nice. The pool, with lifeguard, and large, clean with lots of umbrellas, tables, loungers... Thank you Enzo!

We were happy with the apartment. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and quite modern. In particular, we enjoyed sitting on the peaceful, sunny terrace amidst blooming plants and run-away lizards. Stepping through the backdoor of the terrace, it took just a very short walk to Pizzo beach, which was like a lonely planet in mid- October. Liudmyla was very hospitable and provided useful information before check-in. Apart from a short power failure on a rainy day we had a perfect stay at Marinella. Strongly recommended!

The Apartment is absolutely stunning. It’s very good equipped and everything is super high quality - from the beds to the fridge. The view is breathtaking and out of this world. It’s right in the city center with a lot of nice restaurants right around the corner and just e few steps to the beautiful beach. We will definitely come back.

We spent a few wonderful days at Nicole and Filip‘s apartment. The terrace is so spectacular that we wanted to spend all our time outside, even though the inside area is wonderful too (kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom) and equipped with everything one needs. Nicole is very very friendly and accomodating.

New apartment just renovated, we found impeccable cleanliness. Nice and comfortable area, a stone's throw from the sea and with small shops and bars to get around both day and night. Very friendly and helpful host, he helped us with every request. I absolutely recommend this place!

This house is a marvel! So much room! The architecture is amazing, but it has been modernized for things like the windows and the electrical. The kitchen was very functional with a full-sized fridge and all the tools you would ever need in a rental. But the real star is the garden…a dozen fruit trees! A tiny oasis behind the house. There is an outdoor dinner space complete with a wood grill and room to eat outside if you decide not to go out. Giuseppe’s mom met us when we arrived and walked us through everything and could not have been nicer. Parking is on the street, but other than when we first checked in, we never had trouble finding a spot right next to the house. Whether you intend to spend time in the water as we did or use it as a base to explore Calabria, this is an great place.

For those who want tranquility and peace, the villa is a corner of paradise: private residential area immersed in the greenery of a planted and flowered garden, reserved beach and very clear sea... The accommodation is spacious and furnished with taste and love. When the inevitable inconvenience occurred, the host Gian Carlo was immediately available by phone and directed us by people he trusted to solve problems. He has always been full of advice, suggestions, exquisite attention. We had a great time; the villa is certainly not suitable for people with reduced mobility, the car is absolutely essential and some furniture/ appliance is a bit of age, but the experience was absolutely positive.

This must be the best location in all of Tropea for the VIEW!! It’s simply breathtaking and there is a very large terrace to enjoy your morning coffee and evening wine. The apartment is nice, clean, and as described. Adriano is an excellent host and communicates very well. 100% recommend!

Great place to unwind and relax with family! Beautiful little beach. The house is almost like an extension of the shore - incorporating stones from the beach into its materials. Jump out of the ocean straight on to the porch. We had a great time there. I wonder how full it gets in midsummer, we were there in October and it was very quiet and peaceful. Maria’s home fit well for our family of 7. The highlight was the brilliant views of the Mediterranean Sea and direct access to a picturesque beach. I recommend having a car for day trips to Tropea and other towns in Calabria. Maria’s communication was excellent too.

Alexei’s place is fantastic and exactly as depicted in the Airbnb listing. The location is ideal, with the beach within walking distance in either direction. The area is well-equipped with pharmacies, grocery stores, bodegas, convenience stores, and souvenir shops just a few steps away from the apartment. We dined at restaurants recommended by Alexei and found them to be excellent. The Airbnb provides beach chairs, an umbrella, a floater, beach hats, a fish net, and a laundromat. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a dining table on the patio with a breathtaking view of the ocean, sunsets, and sunrises. The house is air-conditioned and stocked with snacks, drinks, alcohol, towels, and toiletries. It's truly a wonderful place to stay. Definitely will stay there again!

A great location really close to the centre with restaurants and the beach , but in a quiet street at the same time. The flat is the same as it described and showed on pictures.

Mario and his family were very friendly and helpful. We felt very taken care of throughout the holiday. If there was anything you needed help with, Mario and his family would have been able to rely on Mario and his family. The entire stay was a very nice experience due to the uncomplicated nature of Mario and his family and gave us a pleasant and relaxing holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay in Pizzo, in Maria's apartment, who was an exceptional host, adorable, responsive, understanding, especially when we arrived with a day of difference following a "misadventure" in Rome, she welcomed us with milk and cakes to comfort the children. The apartment is very large, with all the necessities for the kitchen, linens, 2 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms, the equipment was perfect, and not to mention the essential air conditioning during the summer. The pool was very nice, and the beach within walking distance 300 meters. The residence was very quiet, ideal for our family. And in addition, a glacier close to the residence "Gelataria Enrico" to taste their artisanal and local ice cream, the "tartufo di Pizzo" which are a treat. The best cities to visit and beaches are Tropea, Scilla (Chianalea village), Pizzo, Reggio Calabria. Thanks again Maria for this stay, we highly recommend her apartment.

Comfortable apartment only flaw that has only one bathroom. But we knew that. Otherwise, very satisfied with everything very close to the sea and more than a few restaurants and a very good ice cream shop. Pizzo Calabro is a beautiful town. Definitely GO BACK.

The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. There's all the comforts. It's newly built and we found it very clean and matching the listing. The outdoor space for breakfasts and lunches with the background of the waves and the operation. A few minutes by car you can reach the center of Pizzo or various restaurants and supermarkets. Special thanks to Denis: attentive, present but never invasive. Appreciate the flexibility of time for check-in and check-out procedures, to meet our needs. I spent two weeks with family (with two small children). We had a wonderful vacation. Super recommended
