Beach house vacation rentals in Tropea

This place is hard to put in words. Wonderful views of the sea&stromboli. The sunsets were an absolute dream. The large garden, the tranquility and the private beach are other highlights. We have rarely been able to enjoy such a great place to stay. We definitely want to come back. A find, top recommendation.

Beautifully clean, quiet and delightful sea breezes in the beach front. Weather wasn’t so good but the ever changing colours of the sea was magic! Restaurants nearby are fantastic too!

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

Giuseppe's house has a very special flair. The amenities (windows, floors, kitchen, ...) are of high quality and stylish. The garden with seating possibilities and barbecue is well maintained and we really enjoyed trying the various citrus fruits. Since we arrived by plane (and rental car), it was very helpful that not only bed linen and towels but also a few basic foods (oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, ...) were available. Even wine and cookies were ready to welcome you. The location on the street was not an issue. Within walking distance you can easily get to the marina and also up to the place to the piazza... to the supermarket we drove a few minutes by car. We can definitely recommend this accommodation.

Andrea's house is beautifully located by the sea, with direct access to the beach. You have an unobstructed view of the sea, Stromboli on the horizon and a sunset every evening. The furnishings are simple, as is often the case in Italy, but clean and tidy. The surroundings are already very quiet in October, every now and then a cat sneaks by, you are completely undisturbed and can enjoy the holidays. The house has a garage parking space, just a few steps away. A bar and a few restaurants can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Pippo, Andrea's father, takes care of all local matters very lovingly, be it a question about the surroundings, where you can get something, something doesn't work or just a chat about the weather. He is always available and happy to help. Highly recommended.

This must be the best location in all of Tropea for the VIEW!! It’s simply breathtaking and there is a very large terrace to enjoy your morning coffee and evening wine. The apartment is nice, clean, and as described. Adriano is an excellent host and communicates very well. 100% recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Maria’s place in Pizzo. It was easy to find with a wonderful view of the sea and Stromboli. The apartment is extremely clean and well furnished. We enjoyed having aperitivi outside and appreciated how there were no stairs to contend with with luggage. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk from Pizzo Marina which has lovely restaurants as well. Maria is a lovely and helpful host.

The villa is nice with a beautiful and large garden and is equipped with everything you need both in the kitchen and in the garden (equipped for barbecue). In the residence there is a pool surrounded by greenery, clean and cared for. The house is practically 1 km from Tropea, there are supermarkets of all kinds within a few kilometers. Only painful note, for those who sleep lightly, being attached to the village next door, at 11:00 pm the animation music starts until 1:00 am. There are beautiful beaches and places to visit, I recommend trying the granita of Parghelia village near Tropea and the restaurant "Mare Grande" in Tropea, where they prepare the Tropean fileja and a great fish. A few km away is the characteristic village of Pizzo Calabro where you can see beautiful sunsets and enjoy the famous truffle.

Amazing spot on a little private beach with a great little restaurant for coffees and meals. Beautiful views and very relaxing. Amazing spot and we loved it.

Aine's apartment is a two-story two-family villa located in a quiet complex near Tropea. Always cool even in the heat of summer days thanks to the natural ventilation of the place and, if necessary, the help of air conditioning. The area sheltered from traffic, and from the noise of the streets busy by tourists, the green is always very well cared for, the nice discretion of the neighbors always very thoughtful, the pool where the guys could have fun and socialize made our stay very pleasant. The sea and the picturesque splendor of the beaches of the Gods coast have done the rest making our vacation unforgettable. Thanks Aine, we will definitely be back!

Amazing host, super helpful and quick responses. We came during low season, so there was not much to do, but Lothar helped us with our stay!

The village is very well-kept and quiet. There are two very clean pools with a lifeguard and security. The apartment is new with all comforts. The host is very polite and helpful. Upon our arrival in the apartment, we found water, juice and what you need for the first hours. He was also always present to solve any of our needs. The sea is not a part of the coast of the best Calabria, but the beach is equipped with a beach with an umbrella and deck chair provided accessible through a pine forest.

House in a perfect location to visit the surrounding area Tropea, Parghelia, Ricadi... And then close to beautiful beaches within walking distance in 10-15 minutes. Ms. Rosy onsite was helpful and very kind, communication with Alex was perfect. Unfortunately, considering the heat, the upstairs terrace was not very usable and access is not very comfortable given the internal stairs. Everything corresponds to what is described, convenient to have a service per floor. We had a good time!

There is no direct access to the sea but within walking distance are the most beautiful beaches of the Costa degli Dei. e.g. remember to bring or buy kitchen and bathroom essentials (salt, oil, detergent, foam bath, etc. , which are not available)

Very positive experience, we reached our home very easily. The house itself is really nice, cozy and well organized, one of the bedrooms overlooks the sea! We were very satisfied with the state in which it was delivered: clean, tidy, and with all the services working. There is also a large outdoor park overlooking the beautiful view of Capo Vaticano, Spectacular! Livia was always available, responsive, and ready to meet us. I highly recommend this facility⛵🏠

We had trouble finding the hotel as we arrived very late at night and could not see the hotel sign. Because our host did not speak English we had trouble being told where to go. Finally sorted out; shown around the premises even at that late hour. A lovely place to stay; host was brilliant even though there was a language barrier. Accommodation was exceptional; lots of room. the roof terrace is very large, you could spend lots of time there soaking up the sun. The gardens are lovely; I had a lovely time going round and identifying the various plants. My son loved the little lizards darting around (even though he is 52 years of age). You do need a car, it is walkable to the station but quite a walk into the village itself. Fourth visit to Joppolo and definately best place to stay.

Incredibly nice hosts. Her sister even picked us up from the train station! Very walkable with lots nearby. The only complaint is that the water heater is *tiny*, so be prepared for either very fast or cold showers. Wifi was good and they even moved the router for us. Would recommend for short stays
