The Lake House

The Lake House is the largest space available at the Anchor Inn with every bedroom having a view of the water. Two queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with two twins. Fully renovated in 2023, we designed the space for entertaining in every season. The beach is just across the street and outdoor dining & BBQ are on the back deck. All amenities of the Anchor Inn are included for free with your stay such as our wood fired sauna, kayaks, firewood, charcoal, playground and volleyball court.

Check out our off-season specials! Enjoy this 4 bed/3 bath getaway home on Spider Lake with 60 feet of private beach: an absolutely beautiful setting from sunrise to sunset and the pontoon boat at no extra cost in June, July, Aug, and Sept. Also, kayaks and paddle boats provided free of charge. It's the perfect place to stay in any season, only 11.5 miles from downtown the luxuries of downtown Traverse City, and well-protected from claustrophobic downtown traffic.

We brought my 87 and 84 year old parents and my two sisters for a weekend visit with our nephew. What a charming, clean and well appointed home. We had plenty of room to relax, laugh and enjoy each other company. The first floor primary suite was perfect for our parents. Arceli was extremely helpful and even allowed us to stay an extra hour on check out day. (She didn’t have it booked for the evening). We highly recommend the home and location. We will be back. 😀

The cabin had everything we needed for a lengthy stay. Patrick was wonderful in communication and modifications to our departure date. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only thing negative was the difference in pricing each day. We extended our stay by several days due to loss of power at home and each day that we extended the daily fee went up by quite a bit. (Almost $50 more one night). Wonderful overall.

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Jill’s place and loved every minute. The cottage was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — tastefully decorated and very clean. The location felt secluded and peaceful, but was very close to dining and shopping. The deck is fantastic and the lake is beautiful. A very relaxing getaway spot. We will definitely be staying here again.
