Great home. Amazing host. Through no fault of the host or the home our only thing we feel compelled to mention is that this is not a place to stay if you do not have a car. Likely part of that was we had pretty crappy weather and so traffic over the bridge was unbearable from a combination of ongoing construction and the rain. The beach is about 20 min by walk and the closest grocery store is about 12 min ( not too bad, but when it’s raining constantly kind of got old). Not a whole lot of restaurants or coffee shops by foot near by that we would recommend. I think if we had pivoted to renting a car our Lisbon experience would have been better. Also I think our expectations of what we could accomplish without a car were unrealistic which is our fault. Just want to give an honest opinion so people who read this have something to consider. AGAIN THE HOST AND THE HOME WERE AMAZING. WE WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Staying at A Capela was the highlight of our Portugal trip. The beautiful grounds with an incredible lemon tree and several peacocks visits made our entire trip so special. Most of all the host was so kind and helpful. The free breakfast at the garagem was so delicious! We only wish we could stay longer. Thank you A Capela for the incredible memories!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Sintra at this amazing Farmhouse. It’s even more gorgeous than the photos and very spacious. The hosts were responsive from the very beginning and had amazing recommendations, even leaving us a book of everything we need and want to know! We had a few hiccups getting to our location and they were very helpful and flexible with check in. We so appreciated the birthday wine for my thirtieth birthday! Obrigada- when we come back to Portugal we will definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here. It’s so spacious and clean. The host had great communication with us and was very proactive. We had 2 babies on this trip and the host was super kind and helpful. It’s at a great location - close to restaurants, cafe’s and not far from a surfing beach we went to daily. Recommend to stay 10/10.

We absolutely loved the villa, perfect for a large group, everyone had their own space and the pool and padel court were fantastic. Elisa was always on hand if we needed and there were beautiful coastal walks nearby. Would definitely say you need a car if you stay here but you can also walk to the nearby town and beach. We want to come back already!

We LOVED our stay in this villa! We stayed as a group of 8 plus 2 babies and we felt at home immediately. It is very spacious and has everything you need (and more!). Our trips to Lissabon and Sintra took us 30-45 minutes but they were an easy drive. The villa has many parking spots right in front of it. The contact with the owner was also very pleasant! He gave us a lot of recommendations for the area and even researched some halal-options for us. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in a very stylish, spacious and clean Airbnb!

Just back from our family holiday at the villa , what a beautiful place we are a family of 6 kids aged 12,9 and 7 , the pool was fantastic the surroundings were beautiful , you definitely need a car as we visited local beaches and restaurants , we drove to beaches in the morning and back to the pool and lounging for the afternoon , I can’t fault this place at all I can’t describe how much we enjoyed it it was just perfect for our family holiday we were sad to leave the villa as it was just perfect ,thank you again and we will definitely be back , Jennifer x
