Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Topsham

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage right in the centre of Beer. The house was perfect for our needs, even more spacious than we expected, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The private parking, which was essential for us, really made for a stress free holiday. The communication from the hosts was spot on, with lots of useful information provided before we went. Many thanks Nikki and Chris, hopefully we'll be back!

We stayed as a family of 3 during the Easter half term to visit family in Preston. The property was perfectly positioned for us. Local shops and cafe’s nearby were useful, as well as the beach. Inside the property, it has been nicely decorated and was clean. Plenty of space for our family. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra blankets if needed. Outside the property was a designated parking space on the driveway which was great. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Home away from home feeling. Set in a quiet residential location, close to a petrol station and small supermarket... with a pub just a few streets away. Only a 15 min walk to the beachfront and pier, with a fairground and plenty of places to eat and drink.

Accomodation very well described and presented, clean, description accurate, clear instructions regarding access, heating cooking ect. Everything worked, host answered questions promptly. Site facilities (mainly the outdoor pool), were found to not be open due to the season. We did feel a bit let down as on arrival 5th April 2025, we were told it would open on Monday 7th April (our last day, with us having to vacate by 10am). The pool had to be booked on the day at 9am at reception, upon arriving at reception on 7th at 9am we were told the pool was not open until 2pm... So the kids missed out....and due to this I feel the need to advise those visiting golden sands to check and open facilities with the site carefully before making any final decisions. Lovely accommodation sadly I won't re visit the site. Golden sands is also a cashless site... having drawn cash for the whole holiday it was a massive inconvenience to then have to locate a bank and restock the account at short notice.

The house was gorgeous, I felt like I was right at home! Super comfy furniture and had everything I could’ve needed, 100% would stay again. Thank you Annie for being such a wonderful host

Absolutely amazing house - best we have ever stayed in - there was not one detail that hadn’t been thought about - we didn’t need to bring a lot of stuff which we normally do. The house was extremely clean and tidy, stylish, great art and the general feeling of homely and comfy. The bed was very comfy and we both slept very well. All in all we had a great stay - location is great - we didn’t need to use our car due to walks with our dog on the doorstop. This has definately set the bar for us.

The lodge was a great find. The outside space was ideal for my two daughters and they loved exploring the garden. The hot tub was great. Inside the lodge was very clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Thanks Gary!

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

A wonderful stay. Mike and Anna are the perfect hosts, I cannot fault their communication and help with settling us in. The accommodation is peaceful and serene with a stylish mix of old and new. We had a truly lovely stay, thank you x (Minor note, the track to access the property is narrow, steep and bumpy. Would suggest a 4x4. A lowered car may struggle. Hope that’s helpful and certainly not a criticism.)

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

Our stay was short but oh so lovely! We felt at home as soon as we stepped foot inside the caravan. The Easter decorations and treats were a lovely touch and our 6 year old loved it! The caravan had all you would need, comfy beds and ample space for parking. The site was so quiet and peaceful. The pool was glorious, lovely and warm and very quiet with only having to share it with one other family each time we used it. Site staff were also really friendly. Brixham was lovely to walk around too. Thank you Lisa for a fab stay, we will look forward to a return trip soon!

We only stayed at the lodge for one night but it was great! We were lucky enough to have lovely weather which meant we could have dinner on the sunny balcony, with great views. It was extremely clean throughout and well equipped. We would love to come back again!

Lovely stay, we loved the welcome pack including fresh milk and bread , so the kettle was straight on for a cuppa after a long journey down. Lesley was easy to message and responsive quickly! The caravan was clean and fresh and the shower was lovely and powerful!, our fur-babies were also allowed to join us which made it lovely. I really can’t fault it. Thank you again Lesley! Will definitely be returning x

Fantastic stay with beautiful views. Great location to explore the area. Dawn recommended a market at South Molton which we had great fun looking round. My children loved the animals and the farms apple juice! The colouring books and paper was a lovely bonus.

Another amazing trip to Nick & Tracey’s farm. We had a wonderful camping trip, we absolutely love it here and especially enjoy all the animals. Nick recommended us the “Jack Russel” pub which was in Barnstaple (only 15 min drive) and we were not disappointed, the food was excellent - highly recommend! This is our 4th time staying at Nick & Tracey’s farm and we will definitely be booking again. Can’t recommend enough!!!

Thank you Louise and Ian for a wonderful stay in your fabulous bungalow. We had everything we needed in a perfect location for seaside adventures and coastal walks. Your welcoming gifts of homemade scones and dog treats were delicious and your little touches including soaps and dog blankets made us feel right at home. We highly recommend a stay at the Bungalow.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay over Easter weekend. Friendly and helpful welcome from Mark. The place is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It’s a convenient location to access the Jurassic Coast. We didn’t have time to explore the surrounding countryside, which was a shame as lovely area. Comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space. Appreciated the dressing table with mirror, near a plug socket - excellent! (Too few places have this). Our son slept well on the comfortable sofa bed - which was easy to set up. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Idealic location with plymbridge woods right out the back door. When issues arose in the property (standard issues in a 3 month stay) the host responded instantly and had professionals out to fix the issue within hours. The host even replaced a tv the same day when I said the colour was off. The property had everything I needed (which was the cheapest two bed property in the area at the time) and 3 months flew by at the property. Sad to see it go

Oh wow!!! Right from the start Lenny communicated with us straight away. Always a fast and friendly response to any questions we had. Really clear directions for when we were close and helpful instructions for when we arrived. On our arrival the place was absolutely spotless, I mean spotless!! It has a very homely and comfy feel. Lenny kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed, if not to just let her know. We didn't need anything as everything you could think of was catered for, all the kitchen supply's were available, all cooking equipment, towels, iron, tea towels. It had all the things you need, even down to a sewing kit!! The sitting room had a sofa bed and was spacious and comfy. The bed in the bedroom was like sleeping on a cloud, so soft, squishy and cosy. The hottub was amazing and the shower had good pressure. It was just a home from home place. The location was excellent the beach is very close and all supermarkets within 5-7 min drive. We really loved it, ty 🥰

Utterly fantastic weekend for our family get away and celebrations - Fiona and Spencer couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. Just a brilliant weekend which we’ll never forget. Best spot imaginable !

Excellent place to stay. We only stayed one night, but was good for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and suitable for up to 7 across 5 beds in two bedrooms. Very well stocked kitchen with bread, milk, eggs and cereals provided plus plenty of utensils and pans. Large sitting room with places for everyone to sit. Also very quiet location away from busy roads. Highly recommended.

We really have had the best few days, we originally booked a campsite and fled the next day....long story. However, we found this secluded field and booked up. Within minutes Kate responded and accepted the booking, lots of instructions and information sent. When we arrived we were greeted by Richard who gave us a tour of the surroundings. We later met kate who gave us some home grown tomatoes and cucumbers, they went lovely with our BBQ. Thank you! Lovely hot showers and flushing toilets. There has been so much effort and thought put into everything around site. The kids loved exploring the place. Very private and secluded acre of land, the dog could run free once the gate to the feild was shut without being kept on a lead like the previous camp site we were on! We felt so relaxed when we arrived. Highly recommended and an absolute lovely couple.
