We had an issue getting in to Steve’s place. We sent a message and got a response quickly. To resolve the situation and for our inconvenience, the host offered a discounted future stay and complimentary late check out. The place was very clean, exactly as pictured, but had even more pieces of home than we were expecting! Everything was great despite the hiccup at check in. If we find ourselves in Spooner in the future, we’ll be staying here!!

This is a lovely spot that sleeps a group. We appreciated how well-appointed it is -lots of plates and glassware, ample towels and sharp knives! Lovely spot to watch the lake or walk around. We went into town for antique and art shopping.

Colleen was an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with, and typically responded to messages within 30 minutes. She was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We are a family of 9 adults and 4 small children that live in Washington; and met in Chippewa Falls to celebrate our son's 31st birthday. Colleen's Airbnb was absolutely beautiful, and the perfect place for a family gathering. It's hard to put into words how lovely this home and property were. Everything about this home was high end: the kitchen was complete with every possible appliance ; the finishings and furniture were tasteful and high quality; the beds were very comfortable with nice linens and comforters. The 4 bathrooms all had showers/tubs. The setting of the home was lovely, and the lake was a beautiful backdrop for our time spent inside and out. We enjoyed the fire pit, the playset and walking on the frozen lake. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

It was a wonderful stay at your beautiful cabin! All of your antiques and decorations were amazing, it was like a museum of hunting and fishing items. Very comfy beds and furniture. We felt right at home the entire time! The fireplace really warmed up the cabin and lent a cozy feel. We enjoyed a campfire every day and evening as we took in the lake views. Having Powell's Restaurant such a short walk away was very handy! We look forward to our next visit!

My group of friends and I booked our spring getaway here and loved how secluded the location of the main house is. Also super cool to drive into the High Valley Ranch. So nice to be able to just grab a kayak and go for a paddle too.

My husband and I stayed here a couple nights. It's perfect for 1 or 2 people. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very spacious. Christina is very thoughtful and responsive. I highly recommend it.

Overall, we had a great stay! The home has beautiful views, and we loved the area. There were a lot of thoughtful touches throughout, with our favorite being the Nintendo 64! The house was well-stocked and dog-friendly, which we always appreciate. For the price, it was still worth the stay, but there were a few things we wish we had known before booking. The most noticeable issue was the lingering cigarette smell in the home. Additionally, both bathroom doors couldn’t fully close without using extreme force. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time here!

Excellent stay again this year - love The Pine Cone and the property. Cabin had everything we needed. we live the fact that there is an aluminum boat included and we just bring a trolling motor and battery for the lake fishing. Beautifully quiet and great place for morning and evening walks - saw deer and great pine needles smell. Will stay again next summer.

My friends and I had a great weekend stay at the cabin. Patrick was very easy to work with and responsive, giving clear instructions for finding the location and entering the home. The cabin was in great shape, everything worked, and we had no problem with the amenities. The cabin has a nice layout and feel, and we felt right at home. We hope to stay here again next year!
