Lake house vacation rentals in Toledo Bend Reservoir

First let me say my family has never stayed at a Airbnb but now I have stay at one I have very high expectations due to how amazing this place was!! The owners life next door and are the sweetest they keep to themselves unless you need something it is like you are staying in your own home. We arrived and the neighborhood was very quiet the home is located on a dead end road so no traffic. When entering the house it smelt so clean and was so clean everything was tidy and well organized. They provided a lot of things I had brought from home such as soaps and laundry detergent stuff I didn’t expect to be there along with little goodie’s on the table waiting for us. Now on to the outside the porch was perfect for sitting and looking at the lake with a cup of coffee. The dock was great for fishing off of and the cleaning station was great too have. My kids really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat along with swimming right my the dock. This place is just amazing!

This place is amazing. The home its self is so cozy, and the master bed was so comfortable. The location is breathtaking. The water was very low and we were given a heads up before. But we didn’t let it stop us. Fishing was great. We enjoy a family of bald eagles each day and even got greeted every morning by the friendly neighborhood dogs. This place is just what we needed. Already looking to book for 3 more times next year!!! The pool was soo clear even though it was to cold to swim.

This is a wonderful spot on Toledo Bend. Really nice home with a fantastic view of the water. The afternoon sunset, framed by cypress trees along the water's edge, is beautiful. Spent both of my evenings on the deck. But what I really appreciated about the place was how welcoming it was. The house is generously stocked with everything you need. We honestly felt more like guests in the home, rather than renters. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

Everything was great! Place was amazing had everything we needed for a relaxing trip on the lake! Right next to a boat launch only sad this we couldn’t cast off of it 😢 but nothing to ruin the trip over! We had a great time by the camp fire and cooking lots of food!

nice and quiet. older trailer well kept. 3 window units kept tbe place comfortable. Linda new we had kids with us and even brought us an extra little cot. Great screened in porch.

We all thoroughly enjoyed staying at Pattie’s place for our spring break. Three adults, three kids, and two dogs fit just fine. Beautiful outdoor spaces, clean, updated kitchens and bathrooms, and new appliances made our stay very comfortable. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at this Air B&B several times and always have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Kristi has always been very responsive and quick to fulfill and request we have had. It is a perfect place for a family gathering. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance you would want. The beds are comfortable. It’s always clean. You can’t find a more beautiful lake sunset on Toledo Bend. We enjoyed sitting out on the massive deck and playing dominos and Uno. I highly recommend staying with Kristi. We will definitely be back.

This cozy cabin was everything we hoped for! Plenty of space for our group and a great location!

We had a nice weekend get away. We have two children under 6 and they had a great time!

My family and I just got home from our trip to Sam Rayburn where we had a great time. Abbie's place was awesome and we started fishing before we even unpacked the car. The house was perfect for the 4 of us but could easily fit 4 more. We had brought our 2 dogs and were able to easily keep them penned up with a baby gate. Although the wifi is a bit slow, we were able to watch shows on our prime account easily. overall great stay, and plenty of fishing fun.

Lovely stay! Our family of eight adults spent four days at this property during New Year's 2025. We always gather to wrap up the holidays and spend quality time together before kicking off a busy new year. This was our second stay with Mr. Chester. His property has met and exceeded our needs each time. And, he is hospitable and easy to work with as a host. This house is up-to-date and has all the amenities of home. This property provides use of televisions, wi-fi, a kitchen with dishwasher and cooking utensils, and outside cooking gear including a grill and fryer, as well as a washer and dryer. We really couldn't have asked for more. The location is perfect for our needs. It is a beautiful house on a quiet cul-de-sac with access to Toledo Bend right on the property. I couldn't imagine anything more appealing to an avid fisherperson. Great accommodations with a nice atmosphere!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

3rd to stay for nearby family party, it has become a tradition.

This is our second year in a row staying at this place. We love it. Great location to stores, tackle shops, and restaurants. The decks is a great place to hang out and just relax and enjoy nature.

Such a wonderful and beautiful place to rent. You’re able to see beautiful views of the lake, and the inside of the rental felt like home. Staff communicated very well, and went above and beyond to take care of us. We would definitely book again.

Perfect for a family vacation had pretty much everything you need for the stay. Gorgeous view especially at sunset.

This was our 2nd stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again. The house was plenty big enough for our group of 9. We never felt crowded. We spent alot of time on the back porch just enjoying the weather. The boat lift was great to keep the boat out of the weather. We will definitely be back again next year.

She was very friendly and responded quick to questions. I would definitely recommend this house and hope is it available next year for the Wounded War Heroes Bass Tournament.
