Toledo Bend Reservoir places to stay

What a great place to stay! The house is just as described. The beds were comfortable, loved sitting on the porch and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower!! Patti was extremely kind and very helpful. We would definitely stay here agin when we come back to this area.

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

It had been 30 years since I last fished Toledo Bend. The fishing was better than I remembered. Kristin’s property had easy access to the lake and was peaceful at night. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my stay. She was super responsive and helpful with questions.

This place was perfect for what we went for. My husbands birthday was yesterday so we went this past weekend Friday-Sunday. We had quite a few people and it fit all of us and had everything we needed! Had zero problems over all. We loved the kayaks. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We slept great! 10/10 would recommend!!

House was awesome and clean. Great views and very quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. Only thing out of place was underwater light for fishing at night didn't work and there is no water for cleaning fish at fish cleaning table on dock. Previous visitors had left dirty due to this. Had to get water in buckets to clean fish and cleaning table. Other than that place is awesome !!

This was our second time staying at Paul’s place! Hands down our favorite Airbnb to stay at on Toledo Bend. Paul is always quick to respond, if needed! My family loves how much there is to do while staying here! The outdoor fire pit, the sandy beach, and the pier are all highlights for us. Highly highly recommend!

Exceptional experience! David is a wonderful and personable host. He is very accommodating and the location was perfect. He gave us great fishing advice and restaurant recommendations. We felt like we were at home and were very comfortable. It was peaceful, private, and exactly as described. Extremely clean and well kept. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed here multiple times! It’s beautiful, peaceful and private. It’s on the water with a great view, so bring your boat. The private ramp is viewable from the back porch. The inside is always clean and perfect. Will always rent from if it is available!

We had a great time at Catchin' 247! The location was easy to get to. We loved all of the outdoor spaces - especially since the weather was perfect. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the dock and floating on the water. The hot tub was a perfect end to every day - such a bonus! The space was clean and organized and had everything we needed. No issues with wifi which was nice as cell service was touch and go in that location. Communication from Dan was proactive and clear. We hope to stay here again in the future! Highly recommend.

this was, by far, one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. we came for a birthday weekend, arrived to decorations & a cake! the stay was beautiful, so peaceful! the home was clean, so comfy & homey! my family enjoyed & are grateful for the pleasure of staying at the sunflower hideaway!

Thank you for a great stay. The carport was amazing for a boat during the rainiest week I've ever experienced at a fishing tournament. Definitely the best AirBNB available for a tournament on Sam Rayburn or Toledo Bend.

We were in town for our grandsons 2nd birthday. This beautiful cottage was perfect for us to retreat to once his party was over. There were 8 of us that stayed and it was very comfortable and cozy for all. We were able to have son and family over that evening, decorated cookies for Christmas (an annual family tradition), played available on site card game, and fellowship together along with making many priceless memories together that will forever be treasured. Highly recommend this cottage and the hosts! They definitely went above and beyond to make sure all that would be needed was there for us. If back in this area, this will be where we stay!! :)

we had a very late booking due to trip complications and she was nothing but helpful. This spot was very cozy and comfortable. The location was very quiet.

Everything was great! Place was amazing had everything we needed for a relaxing trip on the lake! Right next to a boat launch only sad this we couldn’t cast off of it 😢 but nothing to ruin the trip over! We had a great time by the camp fire and cooking lots of food!

This is a great place to stay! The house was very clean and comfortable for our family. The location is close enough to get to things quickly but in a quiet and peaceful area. We can’t wait to stay again!

We stay here a LOT during fishing season and LOVE it everytime!

Very spacious. We had 8 -10 people the whole time and no issues with sharing bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of linens. Plenty of room to spread out your things. Having 2 kitchens was awesome. The fire pit was great as it was cool in the evenings. We brought a boat. Parked under covered dock but we used public ramp which was a few miles down the way. It would be fine for a smaller boat. Being on a cove the water level questionable. Bait & tackle/gas/grocery shop about 5 miles away. Plenty of parking. Nice for large family or friends gathering with plenty of space inside or outdoors.

Our stay was amazing! The house and location was just what we needed. We were able to walk down and swim and use our kayaks. The kitchen has everything you need when you’re preparing your meals. The house is very spacious. Relaxing on the back porch was my favorite spot. We will definitely be planning another stay soon enough.
