Everything was very tidy and clean We have been very comfortable and comfortable, the place is quiet and cozy. Being able to park the car in the same house is something very to keep in mind and a great detail.

Our stay at Maarten's place was fantastic! The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. Maarten and Ilse were amazing hosts, always responsive to our msgs. They ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house is nestled by a serene lakeside, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bikes, relaxing chairs by the lake. The thoughtful touches truly stood out, like the beautiful Christmas decorations with a charming tree and lovely lighting added to the festive atmosphere. We loved spotting the adorable Big duck family and squirrels near the property and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the forest trail, where we saw deers, horses and rabbits. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for this experience and would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway.

Ellen is super friendly and accomodating. And even in the colder months her place is worth a visit! Heating with the fire stove made the room warm and cozy. Taking long walks in the foggy fields and day trips to Groningen, the spa "Waterlelie" or the sea are very recommended!

We spent an extended weekend at Jeroen's house. The house is in very good condition. The amenities are perfect. Highlight for us was the beautiful sauna. As a dog owner, we found it positive that part of the garden is completely fenced, so that the dog could go outside alone with the kitchen door open. We can recommend Jeroen's house.
