Very comfortable for a group of 10 pax . Although the walk to the station can be hard ( 15mins hilly climb) but the residential area was pretty and quiet . I would recommend this accommodation if you wish to be at a less crowded area .

We loved staying here! Bingchen was a lovely and kind host and his cats were the cutest, we got lots of cuddles from Minano<3 Would definitely stay again, would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet and more traditional Japan living experience.

Kawagoe Guesthouse Chabudai / Traditional house

Chabudai is an amazing place to meet other travellers and has such a nice vibe. Other than the room that we booked, they have a dormitory-style room downstairs. And because of the design of the house, you will always bump into other travellers, which makes it much more interesting than to stay in an isolated house. The renovation of this old house is also really impressive, we like it a lot. The staff are all really friendly and Ken san gave us really good suggestion for good food- the izakaya Suzunoya is soo good! I would love to go again. And the place is very close to the old town so it's very convenient. All in all would definitely reccommend to anyone who wants to have some conversations and interactions with other travellers or the host.

The overall stay is very good. It is very close to Izu Plateau Station. The nearby bath is very local. There is also a supermarket and a lot of delicious food recently. The bed in the room is very clean.
