Awesome place to stay! Just a little far from train station! Suggest to either drive or cab over to his place.

It's close to Shijo, but it's a quiet residential area at night. It was so good. You can take a walk with Kamogawa every morning or I had the pleasure of walking around Kiyomizu-dera.

We had a fantastic time in Kamo staying at Wheeler’s Den. Each day offered something new and novel to see and explore and it was always so nice to return to the cosy space Junko and Philip have created. Thank you both ☺️

This location is a fantastic choice for your base of operations visiting Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. Eri is a great responsive host with recommendations for local outings.

A lovely and private home in one of the best parts of Kyoto! We so enjoyed our stay here and cannot wait to return. One of our favorite parts was the little garden inside. It was cold when we were visiting and saw some snow on the tree - so pretty! Thank you Chris and Chie for a wonderful stay, great recommendations, and overall lovely experience.

The accommodation is clean, spacious, and convenient. It was very comfortable for 5 people. The heating is good, the hot water comes out well, and the bathroom is on the upper floor below, so it's convenient. Hot spring bath just a short walk from the house. There are sushi restaurants, supermarkets, Korean restaurants, and Vietnamese restaurants, so it's quiet, but it's a place with everything you need. We had a rental car, so the parking space was very important, but there is a parking lot here, so we are very satisfied. I had a really good rest.

Great experience, there was a snow in Kyoto in February, and the host turned on the heater when I checked in at night, it was very thoughtful❤️

Really beautiful home, looks just like the listing. Host was responsive and readily shared advice where needed. Area is also convenient and easy to take public transport. Downside is that the stairs are steep so if you have elderly or young children traveling with you do take note. Would definitely return to stay in this beautiful home if I could again!

Very good deal and almost new cozy home. Like almost everything for the house, just need to bear with Kyoto's buses to commute. Recommend to take a taxi to major station, this will save your time. Don't trust google map's bus time table, as it is just scheduled time. There will always be unknown delayed due to traffic jam and long-queue for bus.
