Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ticehurst

Great stay. A lovely house in the most wonderful setting. The location is what makes this place special. We had a works Christmas party (Friday) and chill-out (Saturday) and the lookout did not disappoint. We were a group of 14 and the house was ample space, well equip for cooking a full on Christmas dinner. Hot tub lovely, fire pit re-creation of The Traitors, we had a ball. Oh, and there's a disco ball. Thank you for making our weekend so memorable.

I couldn't speak more highly of the house or Les. He was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. He even ran us down to the supermarket to collect groceries. The house and the surroundings are beautiful and a day can easily be lost sat with a book by the fire. I'd recommend the stay to anyone, without reservation! Looking forward to being back again soon. We visited in December for my husband’s sixtieth. The lovely bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for our children and partners, while the enormous bedroom looking out on the sea was really special for us. Adrian had decorated the house for Christmas and it felt really homely. He left us some lovely welcome gifts. It was amazing to walk down the garden to the beach and there are two lovely eating areas. The hotel is down the road for a coffee or meal and the shops and restaurants at Little Common are very close. We cooked every night and there was a nice table to sit round. Everything was very clean. Bexhill Pavilion is a nice walk. We had both stormy and sunny weather. Each were spectacular. Our children all swam. Adrian posted on the charger my son forgot and was very helpful throughout. We had an amazing holiday!

Absolutely loved the stay! Sarah and Reuben are fantastic, professional hosts; Sarah was swift and helpful with responses on any queries we had during our stay, and Reuben helpfully prepared some extra firewood for the pizza oven, as the logs we had were on the larger side. Everywhere was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfectly private and idyllic, with supermarkets only a 10 minute drive away. Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the amazing hot tub - a wonderful, relaxing experience! We would highly recommend staying at their lovely property!

Barefoot was welcoming and very family and pet friendly, we stayed for the weekend and had an absolutely amazing time. The fire pit, African drums, comfortable outdoor chairs and dining table, clean towels for both the beach and showers. We had such a good weekend, the weather was amazing and so was the beach house more than i would expect the facility's really are amazing everything you could possible need including drinks fridge, coffee machine with pods provided, dishwasher tablets, washing machine literally you need to take nothing but food and drinks. The best Air B and B I have stayed in and would definitely go again. Thank you Mark for sharing your beautiful family beach house.

We had a wonderful stay at The Light House! It was perfectly located for visiting Camber Sands and Rye, in walking distance of the beach and local pub. The house was very comfortable for us (two couples and two dogs) with great amenities and was very clean. The hosts were very thoughtful with leaving us some supplies in the house and turning on the heat/lights before our arrival on a cold day! Their instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful and useful, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable from check in through to checkout. They were very responsive and accommodating during our stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily stay here again.

This was our second time staying at The Pump House and we had the most wonderful, peaceful, escape from the rat race as always! Brian and Ingrid were amazing accommodating hosts as always! The hot tub was just perfect for us, both evenings, and we thoroughly enjoyed the log fire, the welcome gifts and all the little special touches carefully placed for us for our arrival to enjoy during our stay. This place holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you! x

What a stunning place, so relaxing and peaceful. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Loved sitting in the private sun trap garden reading and having a BBQ. Hosts were lovely.

We stayed 5 nights. The room was spacious, WiFi perfect, relaxing place, dining place, the bedding was of a very good quality. When we arrived, there was fresh baked bread, eggs, butter, coffee, tea, water. Annemarie is always willing to help. Very kind family. Don’t hesitate, go for it! We enjoyed our days!

The apartment is on the top floor of an old converted house and is beautifully finished. The furnishings are mostly vintage and fit perfectly with the style and layout. The kitchen is well fitted with high quality equipment (Smeg) and was spotlessly clean. There was basic food and milk and refreshments for guest use which was nice. The heating was also very good which was important because when we arrived it was terrible weather. However on the following day the storm cleared and the view from the 4 windows in the living space over the sea were fabulous. All in all highly recommended if you are looking for something close to the town and the sea that comfortably accommodates 2 couples.

We had a lovely stay at Zoe’s place. She was very flexible with check in time which we really appreciated. Great location and easy to check in. The flat is really lovely with a beautiful garden , we enjoyed eating some pears from the pear tree. Would definitely stay again.

lovely and peaceful. great pub 1km away and an off licence, petrol station. for anything else you will need to drive. remoteness is a reason to take this property. comfortable bed. Nice accommodation but if you're tall the ceiling slants so the shower might be a problem. the WiFi is patchy.

This is a really distinctive house in a nice location in bohemian St. Leonards. We really liked the interior decor (see pictures on the site) and it was easy to find and comfortable. Really easy to communicate with Marsha too. If you're coming to St Leonards be ready for some quite steep hills!

Very comfortable, clean, cosy apartment, very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for our brief stay, communication with Julia was excellent, and we will certainly book again when we are in the area.

I could happily live there. Just an unbelievable stay, nestled in the mist beautiful surroundings. It was December and I never felt cold. If you need a top up there are 2 electric fires, I only occasionally used the smallest of them and it warmed up the room so quickly. It’s a lot more spacious in side than it looks on the photos. It is a small place but it works so well and the master bed and sitting area works so well. Very adequate for a family of 4. Dom is very responsive and whilst my family has to stay behind this time, I will be returning again with them to enjoy this wonderful gem!

This is a lovely cabin with all the amenities you need! Beautifully decorated with WiFi, a TV, electric heating and kitchen had all the essentials. It was perfect for my long weekend away. It’s a short drive into Eastbourne town centre and to the coastal walks. Plenty of supermarkets nearby too. Floss and Simon both greeted and checked in to make sure everything was ok in the cabin, which was much appreciated!

We loved our stay at Pancake Lodge, beautiful views, immaculate lodge, hot tub was a very good quality one, outdoor dining area was unique and creatively made, all amenities needed and clear communication throughout. Kari also was kind enough to add a birthday banner for us before arrival and helped plan for a later check in putting on some lights warmth etc. Very thoughtful extra touches were appreciated. Would highly recommend and will return.

Larissa’s quaint little cabin was a wonderful escape from the hustle & busy world we find ourselves in. She was responsive & left us some fresh eggs & also delicious homemade jam. We are a family of four & and whilst we were very comfortable the place is small. Our girls slept very well on the futon bed in the lounge. I imagine this place comes to life in summer when you can utilise the outdoor space; like the dining table. We found it quite crammed at mealtimes. The pool, even in November, was fantastic! Fresh & an absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you Larissa.

Had a great stay. A really beautiful spot and a lovely cabin. Mandy was great at comms and very accommodating. The hot tub took a fair amount of work and took a bit longer than 2.5hrs to get going, but was great once it did. Only slight gripe was having to pay extra for the use of the hot tub and the fire pit. Given the price paid per night wasn’t exactly cheap, I reckon the use of these should already be included in the cost and then just have guests pay for the wood etc. But business is business I guess….Overall was a great few days though 😊
