If I had to use one word to describe our stay it would be generous: Thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house as our base: It's gorgeous, roomy and homely. It's also well placed for getting around Melbourne. Griselda is also the most generous and responsive of hosts with lots of supplies for us when we arrived that were most were most welcome. The house is also very generous with all the space and things that make it feel like home. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has lots of different living areas internally and externally. We couldn't have been happier during our time here. It really was a home away from home for the weeks we have stayed. Thanks again and lovely to have visited:-))

We were in Melbourne for a family reunion and had an awesome one month stay at Fran’s house. We frequented Cole’s, KMart, and coffee shops all located in a mall about a 10-minute walk from the house. It was also within reasonable walking distance to my sister’s house, making it perfect to get together with family we haven’t seen in years. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and the backyard is very private. My husband enjoyed his morning coffees out there and the birdsongs. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to make meals. We didn’t have a car, but the train station is about a 25 minute walk or Uber for 10 AUD. Overall, we had a comfortable stay at Fran’s, and we would definitely rent again the next time we are in Melbourne.  Thank you, Fran, for being a wonderful host.

My mum had a great stay at Justin’s place in Fitzroy. Ideal location, and Justin was extremely helpful with everything.

Kali’s house in Fitzroy feels like you are really staying in someone’s home. If you like that sense of belonging to an area, this is a great place to stay. Very close to parks if you have a dog, which was fantastic and walkable to the city. I would happily recommend to anyone coming to Melbourne for a short or long stay. X

Julie was an absolute life saver and was able to host us at the last minute. She was very helpful and her place was comfortable and we had a great stay.

Had an excellent stay for 8 nights. Everything was exactly as described and perfectly clean. It was great to have condiments and everything needed for tea, coffee and breakfast - a lovely welcome touch. The area is peaceful and quiet during the day and night. Only a few minutes walk to the tram. Communication with the hosts was excellent both before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Melbourne.

Thank you so much Kate & Julian for the perfect house!!!! It was super perfect. We touch down at melbourne at around 10 am & settle everything reach at Altona at 1pm. Allowed to early checkin. The surrounding area was great & secured. Feeling safe and the township just about 1 min drive. We shopped at nearby Coles with peace and ease. Visit the beach & cherry lake too. Can also opt for another big Coles or Woolworths at Altona North just 3km away. The house was complete with all amenities that you need. Super easy to cook. Everything is there. Washing machine, tv, iron etc. we really feel like home and our trip was perfect. Its just everything that u need after a long day. Definitely will repeat to stay in Melbourne if there is any chance in the future. Thank you again for hosting. Love from Malaysia!!!!XOXO.

This is the perfect place if you're looking for a pleasant, semi rural location for a medium short or even a long stay. Alieh is the perfect host and the flat itself has everything you need. We were 2 Brits coming to OZ for a year and needed somewhere to stay for a month while finding out feet. This worked beautifully for us. The location is slightly out of the way which for us was fine as we could come back to our haven after job hunting and football training. Alieh was brilliant to deal with and took us under her wing. You cannot go wrong al Alieh's lovely place, thank you

Such a great spot, so convenient being right next to Southern Cross Station, and easy movement around the city with the free tram zone. Very comfy bed, pool looked lovely (unfortunately was under maintenance for our stay), apartment was really nice to stay in. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was exactly as we expected from the listing. Shuang was extremely helpful and generous with our requests. We will hopefully stay there again one day.

Lovely place! Went with my friends for a girls trip away and it felt like we were in a Gossip Girl episode! Enough space for us all and everything we needed was in the apartment.

Since it was my first time using airbnb, I sometimes couldn't reply to messages because I didn't receive a message notification. (I guess I didn’t set for it properly )Even so, Kitty always responded promptly, so I was able to spend my time with peace of mind. The location and facilities were perfect and we had a fulfilling holiday. Unfortunately almost empty of body soap, etc., but I went to go to a nearby shop to buy more, so it wasn't a big deal Thank you so much for everything I was impressed by the facilities, which were more than I expected.

Donna is a kind and warm attentive host. She allowed us to stay in her home over Christmas when she was hosting her own family for Christmas. The private space we had was perfect for our needs and we will definitely like to stay again in the future.

Beautiful accommodation with everything you need. Location was perfect on a quiet street but park, shops, restaurants etc nearby. Highly recommend

Perfect for our Bucks party, Matt was very accomodating and responsive before check in. Only downside was there is no proper aircon and we were unlucky with a 38 degree day. If you’re going there on a normal day it would be no issue whatsoever. Great stay all round!

Maria’s house is beautiful, and certainly very spacious! Everything is incredibly comfortable, and it has a very relaxing atmosphere. The garden is huge, with a beautiful oak tree, and would be lovely to sit under in the warmer weather. It is in very quiet area that is close to Maling road, and would be easy to get to the city from. Maria is lovely to communicate with, and left us a little treat! We would thoroughly recommend staying here! Thank you :)

We loved staying at Antonelle’s place. It was so cute, fantastic views and very relaxing being on the farm surrounded by nature and animals. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away!

Sues cottage was lovely, cozy and decorated with intriguing art. The bed was especially comfy which was welcome after a long 24hr travel day. There were many little generous touches that also made the stay lovely. The cottage is surrounded by lush greenery and it felt very peaceful being there despite being so close to a busy street with lots of excellent eating, drinking and shopping spots. Great location. A total gem. Would stay here again and definitely recommend.

Easy to check in. Very clean with cupboard of fresh clean towels and linen. Details such as washing and cleaning products and kitchen gear thought through. Beautiful walking track for dogs. Very central for shopping/ public transport. Friendly neighbours- nice vibe in neighbourhood. Fresh without clutter so well suited to visiting pets. Great house and location for family and pets.
