Cottage vacation rentals in The Woodlands

My husband and I booked so that we could go to ren faire. This stay is a true hidden gem. it was peaceful and quiet which was very nice after a fun day at TRF. the furniture was comfortable and even though it was chilly outside it was so warm and toasty inside. absolutely would book again!

Me and some friends stayed at Theo’s for a simple girly get away. If i could rate this 10 stars i would. Everything was nice and clean, there was plenty of TP and Towels. Lots of games to play! And the lake view was amazing. I love how there was a fan in every room too. Theo’s communication was top tier. I had a dumb blonde moment trying to get into the home and as soon as I let Theo know , she was already on the way to help. I would DEFINITELY come back , vacation or not. Best BnB i’ve been in so far!

Second stay at this sweet cottage. Perfect for needs when in area for a few days. It’s even cuter than the picture! It’s very peaceful and relaxing with everything I need. Erica couldn’t be a more gracious host and I look forward to staying here again.

Sylvia’s place was very cute and well kept. It was nice to be able to walk out the back door and fish. Even though the neighbors are very close the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Great place, rooms were neat and beds comfortable. Nice arcade game in the back breeze way area. Does have trains come through the area that are across the street but ear buds are provided. I would stay here again, as the place is clean, very nice neighborhood, and restaurants 2 doors down. Live music on the weekend, enjoyed the atmosphere.

Melissa is a doll, so very accommodating. The house is charming, beds comfy. I'd rent it again in a heartbeat. Most likely will, no doubt. Two streets away from my daughter's house. Great views, totally enjoyed it. Vickie

We had a wonderful stay with family at Melissa’s place! The check in code was tricky but she straightened it out quickly. The pool ended up being closed for repairs the day after we arrived so she even offered an alternative for us! Was a sweet spot, very clean and beautiful lake view. Had everything we needed and then some! 2 ceiling fans (one in one out) didn’t work but it was very pleasant without them. Was a nice respite from the busyness of town and would definitely stay there again!! Thanks for the space for our family Melissa!!

A really fun place to escape every day stuff

Would absolutely stay here again! Good location, clean beds and friendly host. We saw lots of ducks, chickens, goats across the pond and even a heron! We loved listening to the croaking frogs in the evening and told stories around the fire. So many wonderful memories made!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is beautiful. We grilled one night and had a blast with how much amnesties there was. Oh and the bed in the master bathroom with the barn door was the best bed we have ever slept on! We got the best sleep in that bed. Our friends enjoyed it. We are already planning another trip for next year

Had a wonderful time here at the cottage. Heather was very communicative throughout the whole process, and was very quick to respond to questions. This made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The cottage itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Amy was an amazing host. Very kind and considerate. Very responsive. The place is beautiful and cozy. Fun seeing all the wildlife. Great birdwatching, little turtles swimming nearby, fish jumping. Peaceful, neighbors are warm and unpretentious, people wave when you’re driving through the neighborhood. The bed was very comfy, everyone slept well, plenty of TVs for every one to enjoy in their rooms. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to cook at home. The coffee bar was well stocked which is awesome. The snacks were a great touch and everyone enjoyed that. The available games were fun too. Only wish our schedule would’ve allowed us to stay longer.

Marian’s place was amazing and we will be back! Her home was incredibly clean and equipped with anything that you could need. Details were carefully planned out to make our stay more comfortable. The house is spacious and in a great location - lake is just a couple of minutes walking. The house has two outdoor spaces designed for gathering, which made it so easy for us to share meals and enjoy the outdoors, fire pit included for s’mores! The trees on the back make it so peaceful. The community has so many amenities and people are very friendly. You have the lake, volleyball, tennis, a great pool with jacuzzi, pickleball, etc just to name a few! You can’t go wrong staying here with your fam. We had 3 kiddos and they enjoyed every minute of our mini getaway! Another great convenience is the location feels remote, but you have all you may need a few mins away (grocery stores, restaurants, etc). Big bonus! Golf cart is included making it super convenient. Host is very kind and friendly!

It was a nice and cozy place. Its s little tight, but manageable. The loft is for young kids or young adults. It’s in s good location.

Such a fun get-away place for my family! My kids loved the outdoor activities and it was so peaceful waking up in the trees with the sunshine shining through the trees. It was a fun and unique experience!

Well used space. Easy fit for 10 if majority are children I would say. Few spider webs especially on the patio which I had to clean which was no big deal until I got stung by wasp from wasp nest under one of the balcony chairs. Husband sprayed nest so I hope better for next guest. I stayed here 2 years ago and must say maintenance was better at that time in surrounding area pool, grass, community over all. bait shop now closed on premises (don’t fret a bait shop is within driving distance) In the home the upkeep is very good. Stocked with the essentials. Nice stay

Her place is so precious and cute. It was decorated for Easter. Cozy and comfortable with everything we needed.

Perfect place for a get away. We loved the chickens, visits from Jami and her calf, and the peacocks were fun to watch also. The attention to detail by the hosts was impeccable. We had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back.

We found our “home away from home” place when we go to Texas for Dr Appointments and to visit family. This is our 2nd time staying here, and we already booked 2 more times this year to return. Our dogs are so comfortable here and love the HUGE living room area to play. Absolutely recommend staying.

We so enjoyed our month-long stay at the Cozy Boho. Bailey and Jimmy are excellent hosts, communicative and attentive. This property is located in a peaceful, walkable neighborhood, away from city lights and noise. It is a great location for accessing the many trailheads in the National Forest, among other fun things. Inside is perfect for two adults, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed and sofa. We were very happy here!

The Good Smoke cabin was great, the pool area was very relaxing and me and my wife felt right at home. We really enjoyed our time at Happy Goat and will return
