Family-friendly vacation rentals in The Bahamas

Harborside is a great option vs the hotel rooms in the other buildings as you can cook. The buses were easy and frequent. Tips for future guests- you can pack frozen meat in your suitcase. Grocery store food is 2x NYC prices so we took supplies, and bring some basic salt and pepper and such as the kitchen had good pots but not the normal Airbnb type basics. But..definitely stay here and make sure you read the activities guide to understand all that is available to do at the Atlantis, like the free movie theater and comedy club and animal feedings. We feel lucky we got to stay here for less than the Royal and yet enjoy everything Atlantis had to offer. We actually liked the pool at Harborside a lot the most as chairs were always available and it was very quiet. We also enjoyed the Cascades pool and beach between the Reef and Cove so make sure you explore over there. There are board games in the library too. Anyone who gets to enjoy the Atlantis is fortunate- book away!

Was a great place to stay for my family of 3. It was a great size, functional and in a great location. Elise was very responsive with any questions we had. Hoping to come back someday!

Ravi was a great host, very responsive. The resort was truly wonderful, being able to walk right out to the beautiful white sand beach was truly a dream come true. We would definitely go back again!!

We enjoyed the house and property so much. We needed to rest and relax and staying in this slice of tropical paradise was supremely perfect for us.

Awesome stay on Tar Bay! House was set up perfect with pod style rooms. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. Location was perfect, close to airport and stores. Beach was amazing and often secluded. Nemiah was always helpful. Can’t wait to be back!!

The condo is super close to the pool, the resort is right across the street if you felt like walking. We rented a golf cart through Nate, it was great to get around the island. Would definitely stay here again, Bimini is a beautiful place to visit!

Don's place is incredible. A beautiful home, well kept, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice, there's shopping nearby, and theres hornets to take you right downtown. Don and Samantha were gracious hosts, met us at the house when we arrived, checked in throughout the stay, and were always quick with a response. Thanks guys!

Very nice hospitality and attention to detail. Don was very helpful and ensured my family and I had all the proper information prior to our stay. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to the private pool and to the Hilton resort world Bimini. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Pat and Ivan are the sweetest people. They meet you at the place, give very helpful instructions and suggestions and even take you to the store to get basics to settle in. The place was equipped with everything and we enjoyed the back porch for cocktails, fishing , kayaking and paddle boarding. The location was amazing having waterway behind us and the beach in front. Great little restaurants are in the walking distance and so is amazing long stretch of the beach. Pat was communicating with us and gave great suggestions about dive shops, attractions etc. she also suggested a taxi driver Antoinette, who was very responsive, punctual and nice. We had a great time and felt welcome. The host really shares their home with you. Thank you!

Absolutely loved my stay at the Airbnb in Bimini Bay! From the moment I arrived, the place was incredibly welcoming and the host always available to answer any questions I had. The place was spotless, with plenty of towels provided and a nice, cool AC that kept me comfortable throughout my stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the casino and the beach, which is easily accessible via the boardwalk. I felt safe the entire time, thanks to the friendly security staff who were always around. The property is well-maintained, and I couldn't get enough of the delicious food at the poolside bar. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some sun. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting! Can't wait to return!

We are happy we selected April’s place! It was away from the touristy part of the island but easy enough to get to via car. We loved walking to close restaurants and Shadyport Marina. Twisted Lime was our favorite! We are casual people looking for good food that is not seafood. They had seafood too but lots of other options for a picky person like me. Highly recommend day pass to Baha Mar and renting chairs at The Beach Club if you don’t mind spending the $. Did 4 hour tour with Bahamas Water toys and was able to find parking walkable to pickup by Senior Frogs. Aprils place is beautiful and you will have everything you need. If you want to be near resorts and touristy area you might pick something else. For us it was perfect. Enjoyed walking to the public beach next to Poop Deck. They even came out and served us drinks. No fighting for space on this beach! April is so friendly you will feel like you know her by the end!

Very responsive and helpful throughout. Apartment was as described - great location, well maintained (other than one broken towel holder in one bathroom). Also nice to have private beach and infinity pool. Would definitely come again!

This is a great place for a big group! Plenty of space and had everything you needed. Great location and busses were very easy to use to get to downtown Nassau! Some of the beds were a little uncomfortable but others were great - also no washer and dryer available, but other than that great.. we loved our visit!

This spot is amazing. A few things we learned; - Look for flights into Gov Harbor… the drive from ELH is only about 40 miles, but takes 1:15… - Rent a car! There are so many places to explore, you’ll want the flexibility and autonomy - Tarictia is an invaluable resource and will take great care of you! She is wonderful. - They aren’t kidding about water and power outages… there isn’t much that the owners or prop mags can do, so just have a drink by the pool and chill. You can fill the toilet tanks with pool water… - Read the guide book that has been prepared in the house- so much good info on places to explore! We had a terrific trip and will be back! We definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved my time at Nadia’s the place was so clean and spacious. I enjoyed soaking in the huge tub at nights and going on the porch for breakfast in the morning. She really knows how to give good Bahamian hospitality! The neighborhood is so peaceful, we didn’t want to leave! Don’t hesitate, book it!

The trip to Nassau was meant to be a trip for lifetime. Being in charge of 6 people and a baby, it was incredibly difficult for me to plan the whole trip. When it came it accommodated, I am virgin at using Airbnb but decided to give it a chance anyway. The pictures of Mitchel’s place looked good in pictures, and I liked the idea of being in paradise island. However, we truly had no idea what was waiting for us. The pictures truly don’t do justice how nice, clean, specious the accommodation is. She provided every condiment, glassware, cookware we needed. I truly came to tears when I saw a bag full of beach toys in the cabinet. She provided with laundry and cleaning items, responded promptly when we needed anything or had any questions. It truly was a home away from home. The location couldn’t be better for us as we wanted to explore walking around and everything is very close. The area felt very safe, and we enjoyed so many long conversations sitting by the pool or on the balcony.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kyrene‘s villa! We felt like the location right near the Atlantis and all of the things was perfect for our young family of five! Kira was so easy to communicate with and flexible. Also helped that she had all of the toy and kid resources that we could possibly need. Would highly recommend to everyone but especially young families wanting more space than the rooms offered at popular hotels nearby!
