Such a peaceful place. Thanks for the respite, I and my dog enjoyed the sunshine and the stars.

this place is a little gem. in setting the space up they really maximized with small touches that make the place feel like home, even down to extra snacks and geodes in the window sill. if you cook just plan something simple with one pan. we made eggs and bacon and toast and it was great. felt private and tucked away.

One of our employees stayed here while working away from home. He enjoyed his stay. The host was always responsive with any questions we had. Would recommend!

AMAZING VIEWS! The sunrises and sunsets were just amazing at Stephanie's place in Salida.... I've stayed at many "one-person" AirBNB setups, this was as good as it gets! Just a really nice little place, but enough space to set up my computer, have my little kitchen nook, and then the porch outside is INCREDIBLE, huge amount of space, was able to do yoga out there and enjoy the great views and mountain air! It's also walkable to anywhere... I enjoyed walking down to the "duck pond" (Sands) by the Arkansas river, another beautiful place to be anytime of day, but particularly at sunrise/sunset, and while Salida is small, there are some great shops downtown to explore! All in all highly recommend and hope to stay again... Stephanie is a very responsive host, and actually replaced the coffee table on the deck while I was there with a newer version, which was a great sign as to how she keeps the place up to date! 10 stars out of 5!
