Vacation rentals with a kayak in Texas City

We’ve stayed at many locations from ABB. This place had unmatched hospitality, toiletries, and conveniences. We have a house in the same neighborhood but when it was full needed a place to go. The fishing was awesome right of the back canal. The fenced dog run made the stay very accommodating to our French Bulldogs. 10/10 review from us. We will definitely be back. The owners are very relaxed and just made it easy to enjoy. Best holiday ever!!

We came for a weekend getaway, a vacay from being on Christmas vacation, for our family of 5 plus 2 doggies, and this was a perfect find! Loved being on the wider canal side, with fishing, and a big bay view. Enjoyed the kayak, and kitchen amenities. Coffee on deck each morning was excellent! We’d like to stay at the Yellow Gator again! Thanks!

We had a fantastic stay! Javier and Candice were extremely communicative and quick to answer any questions we had. The house was amazing, perfect for fishing and paddle boarding. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, highly recommend!

This was a beautiful and family friendly home! We plan to stay again next time we are in town. Paras was extremely helpful and very responsive. Loved our stay!!

The house was perfect for what we needed. From linens to blankets and dishes and silverware. Plenty of seating and tv’s the big deck was great for sitting and relaxing and talking in view of canal. The house came with kayak’s and paddle boards that was a great treat including crab traps and casting nets. Fishing of the backyard was great and fun for the whole family. Everything in Christine’s list was true. I would absolutely stay there again.

Great location, well organized, and the two-night stay was very comfortable. The kids had a blast fishing in the river right in front of us and catching lots of fish. We also miraculously caught some migratory crabs using the crab baskets. And kayaking was a very exciting experience. I would definitely come back to this place!

The perfect fishing getaway! The home had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. The bedding was also amazing as we slept very well. This place is a 10/10! Look no further!

Beautiful home and host was so helpful, very communicative. My husband loved fishing right off the dock, especially in the evenings under the dock light. We hope to come back soon!

Mary Jo’s guest home was beautiful and she was an excellent host. It is one of the best parts of Galveston island-extremely safe and clean. One of the nicest subdivisions in Galveston is across the street w/ a great coffee shop, restaurant, wine bar and a fun outdoor playground for the kids. Mary Jo’s place felt like home-that is the best compliment I can give. They have more amenities than you could ever need including a playground for the kids, which our 3 year old twins loved. The space was perfect for our family of 4. They maximize the space perfectly and it had all that we needed. They go above and beyond by providing games to play, books to read and information on the history of the property and island. It doesn’t have a full kitchen which we did not need but if you want to cook lots of meals for a large family it might not work, but was perfect for us. Mary Jo communicated excellent and accommodated a late same day reservation and check in. We won’t stay anywhere else in Galvest
