Monthly Rentals in Tepus

Came here as a solo traveller and I enjoyed my time in the peaceful, serene surroundings! The weather was always cool — perfect for hanging out in the porch (loved trying out the different chairs and finding the perfect fit 😉) . I appreciated the free breakfast (a different dish everyday and I always look forward to what lies within my tiffin that’s left on the porch at 7am). While Villa Sare is not near to the centre of Yogyakarta, it wasn’t a huge issue as Grab/Gojek was always available. I just made it a point to come back before sundown because it does get dark in some of the roads leading to the villa, and may be a little scary, but that’s just me since I was travelling alone. The lizards may get loud at night — all part of being in nature! Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. All in all, I had a wonderful time.

The place is clean, well maintained and confortable. The host is responsive and kind.

We stayed 6 nights at Little Sawah and had a really wonderful time. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. We loved having breakfast overseeing rice fields every day (the nasi goreng was our favourite!) Tia and Anis are very friendly and helpful. We did a day tour with Budi and enjoyed his professionalism and kindness. The bedroom is quite comfortable with a nice writing desk overseeing the fields. We used the Gojek app to order meals, which worked well. We couldn't find any shops or stalls for dinner that was within reasonable walking distance. We enjoyed a very relaxing trip!

Superhappy with our stay. We loved pretty much everything - the owners are very nice and kind and have set up a lovely place where you are in a local village in the nature but with all the modern comforts. The house and the outdoor area is very clean and it is so nice there that you can spend there days and days.. You can get grab for food delivery and for transports to Yogya. Just note you will spend some time in traffic every time you go out. For light sleepers - the mosque and the chicken start early and can be loud on some days. Also you will get daylight in the bedroom as soon as the sun is up. But these things can be managed with earbuds and a mask if needed and fresh fruit from the garden will totally compensate for it.
