Vacation rentals with beach access in Teignmouth

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

We had a wonderful time, the seaview from the living room is beautiful, it's only a few minute walk to Meadfoot Beach, the Little Theatre Torquay is also close by and worth a visit. Jacqui even made it possible to check in earlier at short notice. She's a very kind and professional host.

The view from the flat is magical - with sea on both sides of the beach/causeway. It was mesmerising just looking from patio or through windows. The cafe in the flats does fantastic fish and chips. Would like to return in summer.

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

A modern beautifully furnished and well equipped ground floor apartment. A touch of luxury whilst visiting family in the local area. Sea view and hot tub - fabulous.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

Loved our stay here. We were a large group of adults and children and there was so much space. We felt right at home and loved there was a Christmas tree and some decorations. Beds were so big and comfy. Location was great, the bakery is definitely worth a visit. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and spacious. Steve was very responsive and helpful. The only thing others have mentioned is that the road to the car parking space is very narrow so no one could use it with the size of our cars, but we didn't have a problem finding parking elsewhere - we were out of season so summer months could be trickier. We'd love to come back.

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

Wow, Kristin's place is absolutely dreamy! It's so close to town and the train station, and every detail has been carefully thought out. We really wish we could stay longer!

Pamela has a nice spacious house with all of the amenities that you might want. She is quick to respond and very helpful. The house is up an off road path which is fairly steep, it is a lovely property however some of my party struggled a bit with the hill due to having breathing or mobility issues. For the average person it is no problem at all. I highly recommend the property and Pamela as a host. Thank you Pamela.

Great place. Second time staying here with my elderly father for Christmas. Was spotlessly clean with all the kitchen etc utensils needed. The scones, jam and clotted cream was a nice touch as we're the Christmas decorations. Arranged to check-in early at 4pm on Christmas eve. Is about a 15 minute walk from Exmouth station plus is on street parking (parking permit provided by host if needed). Very easy access to seafront/estuary mouth and small marina. Is also a pub opposite (not noisy) that does good food. Are a couple of mini-mart style shops about 400yards away. Exmouth centre a 15 minute walk. Would recommend

Fantastic stay in November 2024 for a long weekend away from work. Seriously impressive. Even though the weather was awful we had the best time, enjoying the beautifully decorated and spacious place. The photos don't do the house justice because it is just fantastic 🤩

Lovely appartement in a central location. Does not however have any free parking near by. We loved the modern kitchen and bathroom. The shower is amazing. The oven however is complicated to use and could do with a quick reference user guide. The manufacturers manual provided, is a whopper and does not give any quick answers. The central heating is easy to use and works well. The King size bed is comfy. There are lots of sockets and even two USB ports, no socket for shaver/toothbrush in bathroom though. We think this apartment is excellent value for money and highly recommend it.

A perfect apartment that was everything my family needed for our 4 night stay. The kitchen had all the mod cons and the lounge was very comfortable too. The beds were just right too! There were some lovely home touches and we felt very welcomed. Many, many thanks for a great stay.

We enjoyed an excellent break here over Christmas. The apartment is exactly as described, having large bedrooms with great views over Torbay and a very well equipped kitchen that was a blessing for making a Christmas dinner! Dean was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay and I would highly recommend.

From the moment i walked in to Julie's place, I was shocked. The photos don't do it justice. The bedlinen is super high quality, as are all the fittings, appliances, even the induction stove, and flooring. The outside area is s little suntrap (yes even in november) and I could spend all day sat on the sofa watching the fish swimming around. They always come to greet you when walking up to the tank which is very cute!! Walks to Cockington start at the end of the road, (my 18 monthold walked there and back) it's a lovely easy, level walk. You can almost hear the beach at the end of the road. Another easy flat walk. They have really invested in this place and it shows. Most 4 star hotels don't have this calibre of... well everything. Even provided first night essentials and shower gel that smells like heaven. Very rarely a place has me gobsmacked, this place was made with a lot of love and equal parts skill, and you can tell. It was simply a privilege to stay here. Thank you

Communication with Jennifer was excellent . The flat was perfect for us - we had two young children in our party - it was so well equipped for all needs . Clean ,comfortable, great decor . Perfect location for sea and town . Beautiful view from sitting room . Couldn’t have asked for more . Highly recommend

First time using airbnb, first time in Dawlish - Sonia made the experience so easy. Anytime I go away, I try to book serviced appartments, or similar, where you can come and go as you please, and have all the facilities and conveniences you would have at home, as this is obviously far more flexible than hotel / B'n'B stays. Sonia was very helpful with information, and happy to reply to any questions - assuring, as I'd never used airbnb before. Location and access information could not have been clearer - literally photos of the door entry system. As we were expecting to arrive after 6pm, to be on the safe side, I'd asked Sonia for a mobile phone number in case there were any problems - she sent that over and said call if any issues. Perfect. As it turned out, the arrival / check in instructions we so good there was no need to phone. Appartment was ideal - 2 bedrooms, bathroom / shower and kitchen with everything you'd need - and all very quiet. Location perfect for Dawlish 👍
