Vacation rentals with beach access in Teignmouth

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Great location with unbelievable views, watching a sunrise from our bed was a first for us. Both the cafe underneath and the pub next door were wonderful.

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

We had a fantastic visit!! The property was really well finished and lots of great touches that made us feel right at home. The fixtures and fittings throughout were excellent with careful attention to detail (which was not expected). Having the hot hub was a wonderful touch which we will really enjoyed using. The views were exceptional and the outdoor space with gas BBQ was lovely. The level of communication by Susan was exemplary, as were Susan’s clear and concise instructions on how to access the property. Would highly recommend to anyone.

we had a fantastic stay at Tom's place this Christmas! the house was perfect with everything we could possibly need. walking distance from the beach and pub was fab. thankyou for a wonderful stay and the hamper which had been left for our arrival it was much appreciated.

Lovely location with some great views and easy access to lots of sights.

What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

Chris Alpine house in torquay was perfect for a lovely weekend getaway with my parents, partner, and our little dog. Close to all the major amenities and attractions and with bigger supermarkets a short drive away. perfect for wlearly morning walks into Goodrington or towards Torquay, or for a trip on the steam railway to Kingswear and Dartmouth. thoroughly enjoy our stay.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

Another great stay here! This time, for a longer period of time, additional cleaning and replenishment was offered throughout. A very proactive and helpful host who obviously takes pride in their property and guests. Would highly recommend to others and consider using again in the future.

The house is lovely. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could want. Plenty of towels supplied. Very quiet area. Would be even better in the summer. Only downside is not having dedicated parking but we found a spot just down the road.

I had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at Phil and Laraine’s beautiful Airbnb. The property had absolutely incredible sea views , waking up to that every morning was such a treat. The space itself was cozy and thoughtfully decorated with a lovely coastal feel that made it feel instantly welcoming. Phil and Laraine were fantastic hosts, warm, friendly, and respectful of privacy. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of care into making the stay special. It was the perfect escape from the busy day-to-day, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm coastal getaway. I’d love to return one day!

Great apartment with everything you need, a home from home. Finished to a high specification . Great location in Teignmouth centre, close to the bars/restaurants and parking. Matthew the host is very helpful and always available. One of my favourite Airbnb’s I’ve used.

We enjoyed an excellent break here over Christmas. The apartment is exactly as described, having large bedrooms with great views over Torbay and a very well equipped kitchen that was a blessing for making a Christmas dinner! Dean was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay and I would highly recommend.

This place was a really lovely cosy little bolthole, and surprisingly peaceful despite being in town. Really decent quality and lots of very thoughtful provisions in place such as real coffee and milk in fridge on arrival- plus lovely little treat / surprise laid out! Luke is a proactive, considerate and communicative host. I would definitely stay here again, and the beautiful park opposite was a real bonus and great for my senior dog as not too far for her to walk to lie in the sunshine. ☺️

We had a lovely long weekend (4 night) stay (family of 4) at the apartment. We chose this apartment as it's in a good location (great views, near to the town and the harbour (approx. 15 min walk with young children), and it looked well maintained, very clean, etc). The photos did it justice, and was as expected. Martin was there to greet us on arrival, and had laid out some beach toys for the children. There was milk, tea, coffee, and a bottle of Prosecco in the apartment, which was a nice touch. There were some printed out maps of local places (beaches etc.) to visit, in the apartment, which Martin talked us through. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!! If we stay in Torquay again, we would happily stay at this apartment again.
