Mike was super responsive from the get go, and was really flexible with check-in which I was so grateful for after the drive there. The place was private, spotless, but most of all so, so quiet. The bed was super comfy, and the deck area was spacious and covered. I did yoga on the deck looking out at the stars before bed. This was the perfect start to my road trip. Nga mihi nui, Mike! Noho ora mai!

We really enjoyed our second stay at Julie's place. It was very clean, quiet, comfortable and peaceful and Julie is a great host.

This place is absolutely incredible. Unfortunately our plans for the Whanganui River Canoe were cancelled and Stu & Kizzy very kindly were able to accomodate a last minute booking for us - and boy what a find! Every detail feels as though it’s been thought of - the layout, the bath, the views, the walk, the games, the cosines of it all. It feels so secluded with absolutely breathtaking views, yet the small township just down the road for any amenities you may need. The bedrooms are homely and super spacious - not to mention the beautiful bath. There were plenty of games to keep us occupied and a well appointed kitchen. It felt like every detail here had been thought through. Would 100% recommend booking and would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you both!
