Amazing stay for 6 nights while we had a sports tournament on in nelson. Communication was amazing, the home felt so homely. The spa pool was perfect for our tournament. We had everything we needed and more. Thank for this amazing home to stay in. We highly recommend this home. Brenda also had an amazing welcoming pack of food for us as well which is just next level amazing.

Amazing house with absolutely everything you need to enjoy a family holiday. Lucy and Matt were the most friendly hosts, great communication and the house was immaculate, well stocked with very comfortable beds. Pool & Spa were perfect, we didn’t want to leave! And highly recommend Lucy & Matt’s lovely home to anyone visiting Nelson.

Great 1950s style beach bach. Stunning location. The perfect place for a winter or summer family holiday. Loved the spacious living areas indoors and outdoors - it easily accommodated youngsters playing, to parents and grandparents relaxing, altogether. Lots of games and books for all ages. We loved using the kayaks on the inlet.

We had a fantastic stay at Nicky’s Airbnb! The moment we walked in, it was clear that every detail had been considered. The property itself is stunning-immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and full of character. Nicky thought of everything to make the experience comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with top-notch appliances, the living spaces were cozy & spacious, and little touches, like automatic curtains, detailed instructions, quality linens and thoughtful decor, made it feel like home. One of the highlights was definitely the pool—it was pristine, great temperature, and the perfect spot to unwind - the landscaping (fabulous jasmine plants) and privacy wall only added to the stunning outdoor space. The communication with Nicky was seamless, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed - the response time was quick. Nicky provided recommendations - I can’t recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a getaway in Nelson - this is the spot!

Lovely cottage across the street from the beach and just 300m from The Old School pub. Plenty of room and well equipped, very tidy. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Highly recommended

Great house, with a car, the location is fine. It’s a bit cold in bedrooms with no heaters. Also there’s no shower gel or shampoo so we had to buy our own. Otherwise it’s a great house for family stays.

A very competitive price and great value. Superb views from an elevated position above the bay. Our host was very helpful with directions particularly regarding access and in responding to our queries. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both our host and the property.

Superb location and view across the bay, peaceful location which even provided enough entertainment for 3 teens! (with no wifi or TV) Hosts were super responsive, friendly and helpful. Being dropped off to complete the Northern Loop of the Abel Tasman track was a bonus and well worth the 5 hour effort. Highly recommend the property, the location and the many walks nearby!

Thanks for having us. We were on a training course all weekend so we were very tired and didn't get to spend much time there but it was nice to come home to a comfy bed.

This home was the perfect place to have as a base to explore Golden Bay. The heaters kept the place nicely warm, we enjoyed having 2 spaces with a table (teens watched movies, we played games in kitchen/dining). The sun rose right in front of the house- amazing way to wake each morning. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice being in a home that is used a lot as there were all the home comforts and nothing was missing. We had a 7m bus with us which parked nicely on the flat concrete pad outside the main doors. It was all easy and perfect. Only advice is to move your gear from car to kitchen with the kit hen lights off as we didn't think about this and the bugs around the outside light flew into the kitchen light in the 5 mins we had the door open and we had nothing short of 200 flies in there. They were not big flies and not biting flies. But still not ideal. To remove just leave outside light on and turn inside off and most will fly back out.

Beautiful period house full of interesting books and artwork , home from home and stone throws away from Nelson central . Everything required required was at hand ; view was terrific , beds comfy , great shower and kitchen facilities . We visited great Thai restaurant above Nelson Boat club : yum food …. Visited Māpua wharf which was gorgeous and great coffee at The Biat Shed and Sublime coffee … would highly recommend and hope to return .

House was great. Very clean, tidy and lots of space to relax in. Handy to Richmond and the areas that we needed to be in. Kitchen had a good range of cooking utensils so it was easy to self cater when required. Kathryn was a very easy host to deal with, especially when I left stuff behind! We will definitely we staying again.

Such a lovely little oasis with a private fenced yard and garden perfect for our family of four with two very young kiddos. The house is the perfect size very comfortable and cozy, we felt right at home. Kim was very accommodating and gave us a lot of thoughtful kid toys and supplies to use during our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return.

We were allowed to be at Ina's and her wonderful family’s place for the second time and again loved to be in their cozy and fantastically beautiful house in Richmond and had a fantastic time again. We can absolutely recommend a stay, especially if you have some days, because you can explore the region excellently and experience a fantastic home and lovely environment, from which you can reach everything very well. Ina and her family support with helpful advice for excursions, and right near the house beautiful hikes are accessible without the need for a car. We are happy to come back!

Great Bach for family holiday in Ligar Bay. Comfortable, great view, and amenities (bbq, kayak). Nothing to complain about. No WiFi, but strong cell reception; we streamed movies no problem.
