Villa vacation rentals in Tambor Beach

My husband come to Santa Teresa two times per year, and we finally found an awesome place near the beach. Julie‘s place was everything you needed! It was right next to a café for breakfast, and a great little bar for sunsets and dinner. Only five minute walk to the beach. The Villa had everything you needed to make dinner and food at home. The pool was amazing and shaded. Will definitely be back! Thanks, Julie!

We have been coming to Costa Rica since 1990 and have stayed in many homes in different parts of the country. Casa Juliet is our new favorite. The home is amazing with spectacular views! The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The home is very safe, behind a gated entrance. We never locked the doors during our stay. We were 4 couples in the home. because of the layout, we never felt cramped or limited on space. The grounds are beautiful and the pool and patios are large with several separate seating areas. The staff, Clara and Jose were onsite every day for cleaning and maintaining the pool and grounds. Clara also cooked and prepared meals when asked. Our host, Rotem was awesome, he was always available to assist and direct us to the best restaurants and activities and checked in on us often. We can't wait for our next trip to Casa Julliet!

Great cafe near by good spacious place

Great place in beautiful surroundings within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants and cafes and activities. When we arrived, there were power stops for 20 hours that made the stay challenging ( no A/C blah) but they sort out fine and eventually gave good information and compensation. Recommended

Had a great stay at Evi’s! Perfect for what we needed. Close by lots of food options and our favorite surf spot. Pool was kept clean and parking on site was nice.

La Perla is a lovely home and garden. We enjoyed our time, hanging around the house and pool...and we saw a lot of wild life right in the yard (howler monkeys, iguanas/lizards, crabs, parakeets, other lovely birds). It is a short walk to the beach to watch great sunsets or walk in the interesting tide pools. You are in close walking distance to Playa Hermosa (15-20min), which is the nicest beach for swimming in our opinion. Most importantly, you are not in the busy Santa Teresa stretch - you are north of it. The house is close to the road so you will hear traffic but not a huge deal and did not affect sleeps. Raphaelle was great at responding to any questions and providing suggestions. She arranged our transport to/from the airport and our ATV so that it was there when we arrived. The daily cleaning is also nice.

This was our first time visiting CR and we were truly impressed with Mar's space. Everything was as described and Mar was kind enough to offer us local recommendations and suggestions while we were there. Would absolutely come back again!

The house and surrounding environment was incredibly we saw many animals including monkeys, butterflies, curious squirrels and many colourful birds where especially the hummingbirds gets very close to you if you wish. Anne-Laures is ever helpful and fast responding if you have questions about anything 😊. The place is literally almost in the jungle with a view above it and over the ocean and that is only a 10 minute drive in your 4x4 car. This was our first time visiting Santa Teresa, and this house made the trip so much fun. It has 4 nice bedrooms and the perfect pool along with the beautiful outdoor living/eating space. Hadar was sooooo helpful. She helped us with reservations at all the best restaurants and created a perfect itinerary of activities for our group (4 adults and 4 kids). We’ll be back for sure and we’re staying here when that happens!

I stayed in Casa Aria for 8d with a group of 7 friends, all there from the Pacific NW US to celebrate my 50th birthday. Casa Aria was the ocean-view villa of our dreams!! We were enchanted from the moment we arrived until departure. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned to optimize relaxation and enjoyment of the space. One word: magical! The housekeeper, Iesenia, was a highlight...we knew tidying up was included, but her helpfulness, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor went above and beyond our expectations. From greeting us with beautiful fresh fruit plates to facilitating fixing minor issues, she was always such a joy. It was so lovely not having to worry about dishes or towels, allowing us to focus on enjoying ourselves and being fully present with friends. Iesenia is a true gem. The outdoor livingspace & views are breathtaking, & made leaving the house to explore (which we did do :) difficult, b/c we really had everything we needed right there. Treat yourself - rent it!

Villa Laya is truly spectacular. The house offers privacy and is very well designed offering spectacular views from every room. Bernice was a great host and was very helpful. I’ve stayed in a lot of AirBnb’s and this one was truly special. I seriously can’t recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Nathan’s! The house is exactly as described. The views are beautiful, the pool is relaxing, and the kitchen has just about everything you’d need. Nathan was super responsive, and very helpful in setting up activities and answering my never ending questions. He’s partnered with another local business for things like transportation, excursions, meals, etc, and they were wonderful as well. For a trip this remote, to a place where time revolves around the sunrise and sunset, there’s plenty of hiccups that could happen. We had none - everything went perfect and all of the logistics of getting there and getting around were flawless. Thanks for the great vacation Nathan!

Great place and amazing host

The concierge, Josefina, was super responsive and helpful. We had a few minor issues during our stay which she addressed as soon as we brought them up. She also left us some coffee, wine and fruits which was much appreciated. She communicated prior to our and during our stay with efficiency and a lot of helpful suggestions. The place itself was a good size for our group and the kids enjoyed the pool. Daily housekeeping is included in the price and there were always fresh towels to go around.

This was the best airbnb my friends and I have stayed at. I had the best week of my life in Santa Teresa, and I will absolutely be back! The location, the view, the pool...... it was all just perfection. Enjoy Villa Melody!

The place was amazing! They look cleaners and maid service was also friendly. The only problem is the raccoons drinking from the pool later at night and crawling on the roof but I think that’s out of their hands. Otherwise it’s the most central spot for anything around Santa Teresa and the host is so responsive!

We loved our stay at Villa Pochote. The location, just above Playa Hermosa, made for a quiet and secluded stay (apart from one bird who insisted on squawking all night long 😂). The house feels like a cozy home, not just a rental. The highlight for us was the amazing pool. And of course our host, Paula. Would highly recommend this home.

Lorie and Will were extremely responsive, always helpful and very friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and even had the house cleaners come mid stay to clean the house. Will had ATVs delivered to us and coordinated their pick up. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip! Highly recommended!! Thx you guys!!!!

The condominium is beautiful very quiet with private beach, restaurant and supermarket there was no need to leave the house very nice, improved to the photos of advertising and Laura was always attentive to my inquiries and very kind allowed me to be with my 4 dogs. That was the best. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for letting us be in her house.

The house was beautiful. My family had a GREAT time. Would seriously recommend staying here. Loved the pool and all the space. Joel and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful and we all felt very secure there. We rented on short notice and we glad we picked this house. Thank you!

An amazing place to stay! The layout of the house was perfect for our family. The flow from inside to the outside sitting areas was great! Cooking in the fully stocked kitchen had a great view of the pool and the beautiful surroundings - it felt like you were still in the action outside. The pool was great size and the photos do not do justice of how big and great it is. The sunsets each night were amazing. The outside area had multiple spots to sit and you could always find some shade at different times of the day. Each bedroom had large ensuite bathrooms which was great. Adrianna was so welcoming. She greeted us with snacks and some fresh fruit, including some delicious coconuts! Adrianna was always responsive to messages and questions we had. A 3-minute drive to a beach with great rock pools, and 5 minutes to another beach that was beautiful with great waves to surf. We would love to stay again!

Villa Shemesh is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and extraordinary. It is spotless clean and has a very sweet lady that cleans full time during the day. The view of the ocean is extraordinary along with the magnificent trees and wildlife. The architecture is exquisite. The host is very responsive and kind. It is the perfect place in paradise!

Dana is a wonderful, kind, gracious, helpful and responsive host. She always answered any questions I had about our stay and the area promptly. Her and her husband went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home and comfortable. We were traveling with 3 small children and she was so accommodating and even brought over some toys she had for them to play with, very kind. Dana helped me make all of my reservations and provided wonderful recommendations - from cafe's, yoga, restaurants, surfing, etc. The villa has a beautiful view overlooking the jungle and ocean with gorgeous sunsets. The villa itself is extremely clean and comfortable with cleaning offered every day. A large TV in the family room, A/C throughout the villa that works very well, a beautiful outdoor area great for enjoying an evening at home. We were 4 adults and 3 children and had plenty of space and privacy, the layout of the villa was great for us. We had a beautiful experience, I highly recommend <3
