Villa vacation rentals in Tambor Beach

Julie’s place was wonderful. The house is beautiful, looks just like the photos, and had everything we needed. We loved having a private gated in patio as well. Being walking distance to the beach and the nearby restaurant Rocamar was a huge plus as well. Julie was super friendly and responsive throughout our entire trip and we really appreciated her help setting up taxi rides and ATVs for us while we were there. Would definitely recommend this place. It was perfect for our week stay in Santa Teresa!!

Rotam was super helpfull and professional. We loved our week in the house. Close to everything u want too see. The house was super clean and the pool is amazing. The staff (jose and karla) are great people who keep it clean and ready for you 24/7 we will def return here

Great location. Challenging to get to initially* but an absolute oasis on top of the hill. The set up with 4 suite style rooms was perfect for our family and would be ideal for a group or for as many as 4 couples with lots of privacy and such a lovely open floor plan common area. Just as pictured in the listing. Clean rooms, great A/C in the bedrooms. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink water supply malfunctioning - not something the host could have predicted, and given the inconvenience they were very responsive in trying to get it fixed and making accommodations. *Detailed instructions and photos were provided, but we arrived at night in the rain and definitely would not recommend that, especially as the hill you drive up is a dirt road that washes out when it rains. Probably only an issue in the wet or borderline wet/dry season (we came first week of Dec) but just an FYI since even our 4x4 car got stuck several times!

Beautiful villa and shared space in great location. Electricity and water went in and out during our stay but so be it. Would definitely stay again!

Great place with great view, a lot of wildlife around which is amazing ! Bumpy roads but nothing too bad if you have the right car.

The villa is very nice, modern, clean , very well mainteined It has 3 bedrooms . The master bedroom is big and very comfortable . The other two bedrooms are smaller ( expecially one is quite small) but they both have their own bathroom which is a great plus if you stay in the villa in 6 people The view is very nice, it is sea view even it is a bit distant The garden /swimming pool are beautiful and practicle to spend some relaxing hours . the villa is located in a private area reachable only with 4x4 cars. They just one a new road in 2024 so it is not difficult to reach the villa from Santa Teresa, the road is perfectly fine Anna Lure is kind and very helpfull. She knows the area very well and she suggested us nice restaurants and activities to do I will defenitly reccomand this villa

Amazing environment, stunning view of the sea and sunset. An accurate description of a luxurious jungle experience. There is everything you need in the villa and the hosts are available and attentive all the time. Highly recommended.

My family and I went and had an excellent stay Adri super excellent host, super friendly and thoughtful. The truth is that I recommend it full, the INCREDIBLE house and the attention and impeccable security, beaches fences, impeccable cleanliness, everything is wonderful, the truth zero complaints and the best are pet friendly 🐶😍

Villa Paulina was a beautiful place to spend my 50th birthday with family and friends. Our concierge, Raphaelle, provided fantastic excursion opportunities, and arranged for a private chef for my birthday dinner. The location definitely requires.4WD or ATV, so be prepared. Raphaelle arranged for One to be delivered upon our arrival. Such a beautiful house, an amazing view, particularly at sunset, and very well appointed bedrooms. Cannot wait to stay again! Pura vida!

where do i start, location, location this place will leave u breathless, its peaceful, clean, serene, when you first walk in the jungle the green the lush gardens welcomes you you then proceed to where the rooms are and the views of the beach just steps away from you room makes you feel in paradise, breakfast its served on the beach everymorning, you can just feel the stress melting away everyday, the rooms are clean, private,its in the heart of santa teresa plenty of walkable places to go yet while you are inside the compound just will not here the noises from the street. the staff, Glori is an amazing host she is kind, humble, & her warmn heart makes you feel you have been friends forever, Rosa keeps everything clean and neat she is very polite friendly and a great cook & don chepe is always so helpful and kind. if you see Nekaui available i urge tou to snatch it right away i promise you it will not disappoint & you will have an amazing experience.

Laurent’s house was exactly what my family was looking for our vacation in Santa Teresa. The views of the ocean were amazing. Highly recommend staying here! The pool was also fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at La Perla! Magali was so sweet and super helpful! We were greeted on arrival and she surprised us with coconuts, pineapple and chilled water in the fridge! She thinks about all the small details to make you feel so welcome! We chatted for a bit and she made great recommendations of all the local places to visit! We had some weather issues while we were in Costa Rica and Magali was helpful keeping an eye on road conditions for us which was above and beyond! La Perla is in a great location! Close enough to town for easy dinners out but outside of the busyness of town itself! The beach is a short walk just down the driveway! The house is very well maintained and set up great! The Housecleaner came every other day and she was so sweet as well! We will be recommending La Perla to any of our friends coming to the Santa Teresa area! If you are debating whether to choose La Perla just do it! You will not be disappointed!

What a divine place! This villa is beautifully designed and so thoughtfully appointed—it felt like a true home away from home. Just a stone’s throw from the beach, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s also steps away from the main road, where we found charming coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants. We were so comfortable and at ease here, and the host was absolutely wonderful—attentive, welcoming, and quick to assist with anything we needed. I can’t recommend this villa enough and look forward to returning someday!

Great hosts and great location! There are great restaurants, ice cream, coffee and grocery within walking distance without traveling up and down steep hills. Julie was super responsive with communication and Josephine was a great host if you need help arranging tours, ATVs, recommendations etc. The cleaning staff did a great job and came every day during our stay. We would definitely stay at one of their properties again.

What a beautiful place to stay! As a bird photographer, I was in absolute heaven as I saw countless different species of birds while there. We also had daily visits from howlers and capuchins. We considered going to local reserves to check out the wildlife but decided we didn’t need to as they all came to us. You are in the middle of the jungle so I’d recommend a flashlight if walking outside at night, as we encountered numerous “creepy crawlies” along the driveway whenever we returned from dinner. We never saw anything around or in the house though which shows just how clean they keep the area! Just an occasional gecko who probably also helped keep the inside insect free :). The area has tons of fantastic restaurants and felt completely safe! I would absolutely recommend!

Wow, what a gem! This was one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The house was modern and gorgeous. The staff was very nice, quick and accommodating. The location was awesome, just a quick 5 min drive to town. We were surrounded by monkeys, parrots, butterflies and more! It was great for our group with the 3 large rooms and plenty of space. The air conditioning in the rooms worked really well and they had a nice bbq. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Teresa. The house was perfect for my family of three. My son was able to surf every day! Gal was a great source of information and was incredibly responsive to our needs! The location is great so close to amazing restaurants! I highly recommend renting an ATV, we had so much fun getting around with them!

Villa Pochote is a lovely house located just above Playa Hermosa. It has a great view of the jungle and ocean with monkeys and other wildlife. The house is well set up for a large family or group. The manager, Lua, was super responsive and helpful and the house was very well maintained. The house is in a gated compound with two other homes owned by the same group and is very private. The house is just a couple of minutes from Playa Hermosa, one of the most desirable locations in Santa Teresa with a lovely beach great for beginner surfers. It is a quiet family friendly part of Santa Teresa, with the occasional celebrity trying to be discreet. The house is on a good road (important in Santa Teresa) and is easy to get to but you will need a car or an ATV to get around. There are a couple of great restaurants in Playa Hermosa (Mantaraya) for coffee and breakfast but the bulk of the restaurants are a short drive farther down in Santa Teresa.

We loved the house and pool. The beautiful surroundings with an ocean view was so nice after a day at the beach. The house is beautiful with gorgeous outside tile work and an upper deck to relax on in the morning and evening. Lorie and Will were perfect hosts and very knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area. We saw Toucans one morning and it was so peaceful. We highly recommend this listing if you don't mind being up the mountain and away from the dusty roads in town.

We spent an amazing month here! The hosts were quick to respond if needed, and the entire community was beautiful. The house itself is exactly like the pictures. Great kitchen, beautiful backyard, and very clean. Comfortable beds, and nice showers. Short walk to an almost private beach. So much nature just in the community itself. Many species of birds, manta ray sightings, deer, goats, turtles and cayman. The store on the property has everything you might need, and is reasonably priced. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home; we hope to return soon!

Laura was a wonderful host friendly respectful and always available for any questions we had . She was always available no matter what time we contacted her. This house was everything and more than we could ever have dreamed of. Definitely will come back again we loved Costa Rica and would highly recommend this beautiful villa. Really enjoyed our experience at Pierre’s place. The location was convenient between manzanillo and Santa Teresa, but outside of the noise of both. The views are incredibly, the pool and grounds are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the entire experience went off without a hitch. The host provided daily servicing of the house, which was a huge added bonus for an AirBnb (where you often get one set of towels and by check out everything feels dirty and messy). This experience was the total opposite: Pierre provided a clean and well serviced environment. We hired Kyala from At Your Table in Santa Teresa to come prepare an anniversary meal for us at the house. Exceptional. The sunset, the beauty, the ambiance and the grounds made for an unforgettable meal and a wonderful 15th anniversary celebration. By Costa Rican standards, the cost was very appropriate for the quality of the accommodations. The manager was super responsive and tried to be very helpful when needed. Highly recommend
