Villa vacation rentals in Tambor Beach

My husband come to Santa Teresa two times per year, and we finally found an awesome place near the beach. Julie‘s place was everything you needed! It was right next to a café for breakfast, and a great little bar for sunsets and dinner. Only five minute walk to the beach. The Villa had everything you needed to make dinner and food at home. The pool was amazing and shaded. Will definitely be back! Thanks, Julie!

We have been coming to Costa Rica since 1990 and have stayed in many homes in different parts of the country. Casa Juliet is our new favorite. The home is amazing with spectacular views! The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The home is very safe, behind a gated entrance. We never locked the doors during our stay. We were 4 couples in the home. because of the layout, we never felt cramped or limited on space. The grounds are beautiful and the pool and patios are large with several separate seating areas. The staff, Clara and Jose were onsite every day for cleaning and maintaining the pool and grounds. Clara also cooked and prepared meals when asked. Our host, Rotem was awesome, he was always available to assist and direct us to the best restaurants and activities and checked in on us often. We can't wait for our next trip to Casa Julliet!

The place is beautiful, with a very beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. It is designed so that guests can share common spaces, but have their much needed intimacy and privacy. The rooms are spacious, with an excellent setting, quiet and inviting to rest. The bathroom area is also beautiful , full of comfort and good taste. It was a beautiful experience for our group and we felt comfortable at all times. The pools are also meant for comfort and rest, as well as the wonderful panoramic deck. The truth is a stay in which we feel very comfortable.

Great place in beautiful surroundings within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants and cafes and activities. When we arrived, there were power stops for 20 hours that made the stay challenging ( no A/C blah) but they sort out fine and eventually gave good information and compensation. Recommended

Mar was a great and responsive host and the house was amazing. We didn't spend much time there, but it was beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing environment, stunning view of the sea and sunset. An accurate description of a luxurious jungle experience. There is everything you need in the villa and the hosts are available and attentive all the time. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay , far enough to be calm and close enough to Santa Teresa , beautiful pool , all rooms were great with AC , fully functional kitchen , cannot recommend this place enough ! If you have the chance to stay here you definitely should

We had a great time with our group of 9 adults. The view was incredible and the amenities were great for our group. The hill was pretty steep but walkable generally. We recommend getting ATVs or a car! The hosts were responsive, so helpful, and kind. The cleaning service was so nice to have and we really appreciated all of the help getting amenities booked. The pool was clean and so refreshing on the hot days.

Villa Paulina was a beautiful place to spend my 50th birthday with family and friends. Our concierge, Raphaelle, provided fantastic excursion opportunities, and arranged for a private chef for my birthday dinner. The location definitely requires.4WD or ATV, so be prepared. Raphaelle arranged for One to be delivered upon our arrival. Such a beautiful house, an amazing view, particularly at sunset, and very well appointed bedrooms. Cannot wait to stay again! Pura vida!

where do i start, location, location this place will leave u breathless, its peaceful, clean, serene, when you first walk in the jungle the green the lush gardens welcomes you you then proceed to where the rooms are and the views of the beach just steps away from you room makes you feel in paradise, breakfast its served on the beach everymorning, you can just feel the stress melting away everyday, the rooms are clean, private,its in the heart of santa teresa plenty of walkable places to go yet while you are inside the compound just will not here the noises from the street. the staff, Glori is an amazing host she is kind, humble, & her warmn heart makes you feel you have been friends forever, Rosa keeps everything clean and neat she is very polite friendly and a great cook & don chepe is always so helpful and kind. if you see Nekaui available i urge tou to snatch it right away i promise you it will not disappoint & you will have an amazing experience.

The house and surrounding environment was incredibly we saw many animals including monkeys, butterflies, curious squirrels and many colourful birds where especially the hummingbirds gets very close to you if you wish. Anne-Laures is ever helpful and fast responding if you have questions about anything 😊. The place is literally almost in the jungle with a view above it and over the ocean and that is only a 10 minute drive in your 4x4 car. I could not recommend this home enough! We stayed for a few days and was perfect! Walking distance to all restaurants, steps from the beach, and steps away from the main beach clubs. Very private and safe feeling we stayed as a group of girls. The layout of the home is excellent it gives 4 separate bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms for privacy. We would absolutely stay here again, the owners were so friendly with providing fruits and drinks upon our arrival, made it feel so special. 100% loved our stay!!

This place was absolutely incredible! It fully met our expectations and then some as it’s walkable to anywhere you’d like to go in Santa Teresa. It’s literally smack dab in the middle of everything while still being tucked back enough to still feel private. You have beach access in 5 minutes or less, gorgeous views and an incredible array of wild life! 10/10 would stay again! The concierge was helpful and responsive and the house keeper Joanna is second to none, such a sweet heart. If you’re looking for a vacation you’ll never forget this is the spot!

I would recommend Villa Akoya to anyone looking to stay in Santa Teresa that wants to be right on the beach. We found we stayed in most of our vacation and hung out in the pool that overlooks the beach. There were several iguanas that lived on the property and howler monkeys were above in the trees. The concierge was excellent. She booked our domestic flights, rides, a side by side and excursions for us. The tv in one of the bedrooms did not work and she had a new tv installed within hours. There was a cleaning person that was there from about 10 am to 4 pm doing laundry and such. There was also a security guard that came around 5-6 pm and sat/walked the property until 5-6 am. The bathrooms were closed in but exposed to the outside so as expected there were bugs/crabs that got into the house. They weren’t an issue really but noticed more in the master bedroom than the other rooms. Overall it was a great trip made better by the location and the house itself. Loved it!

Villa Pochote is a lovely house located just above Playa Hermosa. It has a great view of the jungle and ocean with monkeys and other wildlife. The house is well set up for a large family or group. The manager, Lua, was super responsive and helpful and the house was very well maintained. The house is in a gated compound with two other homes owned by the same group and is very private. The house is just a couple of minutes from Playa Hermosa, one of the most desirable locations in Santa Teresa with a lovely beach great for beginner surfers. It is a quiet family friendly part of Santa Teresa, with the occasional celebrity trying to be discreet. The house is on a good road (important in Santa Teresa) and is easy to get to but you will need a car or an ATV to get around. There are a couple of great restaurants in Playa Hermosa (Mantaraya) for coffee and breakfast but the bulk of the restaurants are a short drive farther down in Santa Teresa.

Great spot! Up in the canopy of the rainforest with amazing ocean views. Tucked away south of Santa Teresa, this placed offered a great spot to relax and enjoy a more quiet experience, tucked away high up the hill. Less than a 10min ATV ride to main Santa Teresa, it was a perfect home base for the entire trip and all the local activities. House was just like the photos, with the views and experience even better! House was clean, kitchen well stocked, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful in organizing the entire trip from beginning to end! Costa Rica is a beautiful place and this house is a great spot to enjoy it!

We really enjoyed our stay! The rental is exactly as described and shown in the photos. Will was super helpful and always responded very quickly. The rental is located central to Santa Teresa but at the top of a steep hill with a windy gravel road. A higher clearance vehicle is a must and we would recommend renting an ATV through Will to make the excursions more enjoyable. If you are staying sometime in the near future be aware that there is a lot of construction at neighboring properties so it can be noisy during the day.

We spent an amazing month here! The hosts were quick to respond if needed, and the entire community was beautiful. The house itself is exactly like the pictures. Great kitchen, beautiful backyard, and very clean. Comfortable beds, and nice showers. Short walk to an almost private beach. So much nature just in the community itself. Many species of birds, manta ray sightings, deer, goats, turtles and cayman. The store on the property has everything you might need, and is reasonably priced. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home; we hope to return soon!

The condominium is beautiful very quiet with private beach, restaurant and supermarket there was no need to leave the house very nice, improved to the photos of advertising and Laura was always attentive to my inquiries and very kind allowed me to be with my 4 dogs. That was the best. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for letting us be in her house.

The house was beautiful. My family had a GREAT time. Would seriously recommend staying here. Loved the pool and all the space. Joel and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful and we all felt very secure there. We rented on short notice and we glad we picked this house. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our experience at Pierre’s place. The location was convenient between manzanillo and Santa Teresa, but outside of the noise of both. The views are incredibly, the pool and grounds are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the entire experience went off without a hitch. The host provided daily servicing of the house, which was a huge added bonus for an AirBnb (where you often get one set of towels and by check out everything feels dirty and messy). This experience was the total opposite: Pierre provided a clean and well serviced environment. We hired Kyala from At Your Table in Santa Teresa to come prepare an anniversary meal for us at the house. Exceptional. The sunset, the beauty, the ambiance and the grounds made for an unforgettable meal and a wonderful 15th anniversary celebration. By Costa Rican standards, the cost was very appropriate for the quality of the accommodations. The manager was super responsive and tried to be very helpful when needed. Highly recommend
