Vacation rentals in Tambacounda

Raymond's accommodation is an oasis of tranquillity in Tamba. The facilities are basic but Raymond makes you feel at home. His life story and advice on Bassari country, local restaurants or lodging in other cities in Senegal are very interesting and to be considered, all while you drink tea and try some of the fruit from his garden. All highly recommended.

Highly recommend! Service above and beyond- from when I first arrived Ibrahima took fantastic care of me; volunteered to pick me up at the gare routiere, provided coffee and bread in the morning, delivered food to me from there families restaurant. 5 star service. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. My only (very) minor complaint is that it's a bit dark- it could use another light. There's a good fridge and kettle, but the rest of the kitchen could use some tlc. Not much to cook with if you wanted to, but with the delicious and reasonably priced food from their restaurant, not really necessary.

Gael has a great stay and definitely worth staying. The house is located in downtown and not far from restaurant, public transportation and others.

Raymond is an outstanding host. His place is comfortable, his dogs are adorable, his birds are amazing, his garden is fabulous but what is beyond description is his out of this world kindness, and super pefect hospitality. He and his brother established an association to help impoverished children of the area to get education, clothing, food, and school materials. His kindness shows in his hospitality. We feel lucky and honored to get to know him.
