Vacation rentals in Saloum Delta

Laurent's house is beautiful, very clean and very well decorated. The access to the beach with the small dock is amazing, a place disconnected from the world. No hotels around only fishermen and locals who come and swim. The caretaker was very attentive and helped us and give lots of advice, we even had to eat with him! A great stay!

Beautiful villa for 4 people, with direct access to the beach and a 5-minute walk from the neighborhood shop, so no worries about picking up butter or baguettes for your last-minute breakfasts! Proactive host and friendly staff. Recommended.

Valerie was not there during our stay but the Senegalese made us feel welcome. We had a problem with electricity but Valerie fixed it. If you go there take some jam and other food. In the evening they cook Wonderfull dishes but.for breakfast you can only get bread. If you want alcohol take it with you, there are 2 little townships but they do not have a lot, for sure no alcohol! Recommended space for relaxing, swimming in the river and walk through an authentic Senegalese village...

The villa is as advertised. It is very spacious and well appointed, we had a great time in Palmarin. Ocean views from the terrace are stunning. The hospitality from Elizabeth and Roger was amazing, Senegalese Teranga in all its glory. We can only recommend this place which is at the gates of Sine Saloum. Thanks again for letting us meet this great corner of Senegal.

What a great stay at Alioune's! Laurie first gave me the essential information about the accommodation and Alioune's contact details and then I was in contact with him directly. His instructions were clear and helpful (like the direct bus that leaves from Dakar) and he came to wait for me at the landing stage. I was very touched by his kindness and his desire to pass on the history of the village of Mar Lodj. The place is very nice and quiet, icing on the cake: Alioune's cooking is very good and everything comes from the surroundings.
