Reaching it involves a climb up hundreds of steps through the jungle, but you're rewarded with total privacy, breathtaking views, and complete immersion in nature. Jan and his wife are incredibly kind and always ready to help. This is a unique and unforgettable stay, perfect for nature lovers seeking peace and authenticity.

This place was wonderful, rustic, secluded, in the midst of nature and next to a beautiful, peaceful beach, Playa Negra! There is a restaurant with delicious food only a few steps down the beach, gorgeous setting; a grocery store just a bit further, also the police station and bus stop. We walked or rode bicycles to and from town nearly every day. You can take the main road along the beach or walk on the beach. Either way is so lovely! We rode the bus to places like Manzanillo and Cahuita. One day, we rented an ATV and went to some nearby waterfalls. Absolutely incredible!!!! The house is fun and relaxing. Anything you may want or need, just ask. They're really nice. Lynch and Pamela are fast to respond and very informative. This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and Lynch made it easy and enjoyable. He also does tours. We took a sloth and kayak tour, which we loved! We can hardly wait to return!

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed there for four nights as a family and enjoyed the time very much, the house is unique. In walking distance to the nearest bars, restaurants and the beach but still in nature and private. From the house we saw sloths, various monkeys, agutis, tucans, iguanas, colored frogs and more! If you're looking for an exceptional place to stay, this is the place to be!

Undoubtedly the Tree House was a magical place, the rain, the jungle and the animals were unpleasant. Good location for those who like to walk and be in contact with nature, Valerie and her partner were always very attentive to everything and always delivering a smile or a recommendation to make. Breakfast was very rich and very forceful 100% recommended. We would definitely host here again and obviously recommend it without thinking about it !

We had a delightful stay! It was a special occasion, and Silvia was kind, thoughtful and very helpful. We felt comfortable and made ourselves at home. A truly memorable and one of a kind place. We hope to return again soon.

A very pleasant night spent in this house in the tree. The accommodation is very clean and has all the necessary equipment. We were lulled by the sound of waves and animals. The accommodation is very well located, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Restaurants and convenience stores are close by. We can only recommend this place to you.

this place is so beautiful. the location, the quiet street, far enough from town to feel secluded, even though there are neighbors. the beach is beaitoful and quiet as well. we would love to stay here again and we'll be recommending it to friends. David was a pleasure to talk to and was available and quick to respond whenever needed. we only ever rent open air homes so we are used to what comes with it -occasional bugs, occasional issues with water or internet. it's the price you pay for wanting to stay in such a location and to be so close to nature. from the house we saw agoutis, green macaws, toucans, monkies, and a variety of other tropical birds. we enjoyed boogie boarding in the ocean, playing in the waves, walking the beach, sitting and listening to the birds, playing games on the giant table, and seeing the area. we always felt safe and again, David was only minutes away and quick to respond.

The tree house was uniquely beautiful and a special experience. In the living room you sat in the middle of the jungle and had a breathtaking view. Alejo was super warm and we felt welcome right away. We've had a lot of nice places to stay, but this one really can't be compared to anything. Compliments to Alejo, who designed and built everything himself. It really is a paradise.

The Jungle House and its surroundings are magical. Through a gate of trees you can see the Caribbean Sea. Toucans, parrots and many other birds are doing gymnastics on the branches in front of this dreamy and lonely cottage. The hummingbirds buzz through the bushes. And an ancient guardian tree releases its fireflies into the night at dusk! The house can really be discovered! It's full of loving details. Tom is a wonderful and caring host who wants to make every wish possible and does so. Thank you for a very unique and valuable experience 🤗

We really wish there was an option for more than 5 stars! From the moment we arrived until the last minutes we were staying here, we felt very welcomed! The location was amazing, the tree house (green frog) was perfect. As others have commented…the only thing that could have been better. . .is if we had actually extended our stay here. Ricky and Lori were extremely friendly and helpful. The fresh cut Pipas to drink were splendid. 10/10!!! We would recommend and can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

The treehouse is an awesome stay! Sitting out on the deck was amazing. It’s definitely a cozy little place, with very nice touches, making it a special place. People do walk and bike the road but I’d recommend a vehicle to get there. We had an atv and it was a lot of fun!

Marlene was a great host and a wonderful communicator. She lives full-time on the property and is always close by if you need her for anything. The experience was a true eco stay tucked in the jungle and away from the busy streets of the town. Worth a stay if you're looking to truly immerse yourself in nature

Really great location if you’re looking for a jungle stay and only a 20 min drive to the beach’s and restaurants. Lots to do in the area. Really lovely place to stay just be prepared the jungle can get loud however it can be oddly peaceful The treehouse is as lovely and we had no issues with anything highlight was definitely the balcony in the morning.
