Villa Julio was great. The property managers with Rise were very helpful and friendly. Especially Fabian, who greeted us on arrival. We had a wonderful time spotting wildlife from the deck every day. We saw and heard howler monkeys every day, spotted an iguana in the tree, as well as a sloth. We rented bikes for our time there and were able to get wherever we needed to go.

Truly a magical stay. The openness of the upper level allowed us to experience the outdoors & the beautiful sounds of nature while still feeling very private. The house was well stocked with everything we needed.

If you ever dream to wake up with the sound of the jungle around you this is your place. A small cozy house surrounded by trees. We spotted different animals during our short stay (monkeys, birds, and others) The space is little far from the “main” beaches but is worth it due to the privacy. The front deck is perfect for just sit down and appreciate the peacefulness of nature.

Great location, convenient to Cahuita & Puerto Viejo. Great value for a whole house with a private pool and beautiful outdoor living space. We watched capuchins playing above the backyard and a toucan perched above the house one morning and we heard howler monkeys, as well. Check in was a little tricky because you have to meet the manager, Yordi, at the home for check-in, but he was very responsive to texts and was good to work with. The home had everything we needed. Water pressure was very poor in the master shower, but was great in the 2nd bath, so we just used that one. We loved the European style bedding. Thanks for a lovely stay.

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the vibrant sounds of nature—howler monkeys in the distance, birds in every color imaginable, and the occasional curious creature making a cameo on the property. It felt like we were living inside a nature documentary—in the best way possible. The house itself was absolutely charming. We loved its unique design and the character it carried throughout. One of our favorite features was the artwork—beautiful pieces created by local artists that adorned the walls. Highly recommend staying here. Megan Jo was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. They did everything the could to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The studio was perfect for my needs - solo traveler working remote - good WiFi, AC, comfortable bed. They were super kind and accommodating allowing me to stow my luggage and park my rental car inside their gate. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at the River Dream House. We loved staying in the rainforest, very close to a beautiful beach (10 min walk on a private path). The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The free laundry service was also appreciated! The house is a short distance from the Jaguar Rescue center and ARA Manzanillo, we loved visiting both.

Exeptional house. Quick response to all our questions. Very clean and very beautiful. Just like the pictures. Beautiful pool, very nice kitchen to make our meals, drinking water and away from other houses. Little hidden paradise. It was perfect for us. There were 7 of us. We were woken up the first morning by the howler monkeys. They stayed all day in the trees around the house:-) Very nice show. We also saw hummingbirds looted in the flowers around the house. The greenery around the house was exceptional. Banana trees, papayers, birds of paradise , really very beautiful. Located between the two parks of Cahuita and Manzanillo. Great location. Do not miss the path to Cahuita with the 2 km walkways named Puerto Vargas. In short, there were 7 of us in the house, my husband and 2 children, my 2 parents and my brother. The house was perfect for us. I highly recommend you.

We had a great time in the beautiful house of Susana. Our kids enjoyed the large pool with the water fall, the large amount of toys and watching the Cherengas and howler monkeys. The house is equipped with everything needed, there is a key for a private path to the beach and we would definitley come again. Thanks Susana for hosting us!
