Tahoe City vacation rentals

This is our favorite place to stay in the wintertime at Tahoe Donner! It is walking distance to the downhill ski area which is a perfect place for kids learning to ski. The condo is comfortable, well-appointed and clean.

What an incredible place! The condo is well appointed with premium electronics and appliances. It is well stocked with coffee, spices, utensils, dishes, etc. The appliances are all high end as are the linens, mattresses, toilet paper, soaps, etc. The location is incredible, you can walk 15 seconds to and from the ski run. The ski locker is right next to the condo, and there are not stairs as the condo is on the first floor. We used the community clothes washer/dryer three times on our stay and it was always available. It is on the second floor, but that's hardly an issue. The Internet is fast and the variety of connected TV options were great. We ended up using our own YouTube, YouTubeTV, Netflix, etc. logins, but it all worked and was very accommodating. We felt completely at home at this condo. The sheets, the kitchen amenities, the bathroom all were well equipped with premium products. We will definitely come back again!

Super convenient and comfy condo in Northstar. The shuttle to the base was super easy and fast with the Northstar transit app. The apartment space was great for our group of four. Loved the fireplace!

Dolores's place was perfect for my small family of 4. We arrived to town early in the morning and found somewhere to eat since check in was at 3pm. However Dolores let me know place was ready earlier than expected which was great for us to rest after the drive. The place had all supplies, kitchen was clean, and everything was neat. Instructions were clear.

awe had an amazing stay at Mihai's place. The parking spot to the door was close and easy, the fireplace was such a nice touch to feel cozy and warm, and the distance to all the things we needed were close by. Diamond peak is about a 5 min drive, and Susie scoops ice cream was a short 10 min walk from the unit. We're looking forward to staying here again!

John’s place was the perfect spot to spend a Northstar ski weekend. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and cozy. The free shuttle to the Village picked us up right across the street and was so convenient!

It's a very cozy space. Small but still contains everything one would need for a long term stay. Not a great cellular signal, and apparently they have blackouts from time to time, but this isn't reflective of the host. Just an fyi if you're needing a stable cellular connection. The wifi is strong enough as well, apart from unforseen loss of electricity.

Great spot easy to find with lots of parking. If you are a family with a lot of ski and snowboard gear this is a great option because the parking lot is wide open and a few steps from the staircase leading to the condo. Most of the condos at Northstar have under ground parking and requires multiple trips and finding luggage carts. The condo has just enough space and kids can sled on the opposite hill above the parking lot. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the main village where the restaurants and shops are, so if you don’t like walking far it’s a bit of a trek up and down. There is a shuttle but it doesn’t run often and won’t be running late if you go to dinner or back.

Great modern Tahoe home in private neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen with everything one might need for cooking a meal. Nice dining table with room for everyone and comfortable living room space. King size bedroom does not have a private bathroom but rather the queen size bedroom has a private bathroom, so it’s a little confusing which room is considered the master bedroom.

Cathie was super responsive and friendly. I requested to add one additional guest even though the Airbnb listing only allows 8 and Cathie was able to accommodate us. The apartment was clean, spacious and close to Heavenly ski resort. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying at this unit.

Great place to stay, house was clean and spacious. We went up in the winter, this house in a small drive to heavenly and downtown. Worked great for us with 9 people.

This is a lovely spot quite walkable to coffee, the Nevada Museum of Art, and good restaurants. It's a good match for those of us who enjoy vintage architecture. The neighborhood is a lovely area in which to walk. The beds were comfortable, and the home was well supplied. I had not read the description closely enough to see there was a separate rental cottage in the back, which could work nicely if coordinated to rent both for more people. Since we didn't, we weren't able to enjoy the backyard on the beautiful days we stayed here because that space seemed more connected to the cottage than to us. I was quite happy with our stay overall, and the one small request we made was met speedily.

We loved staying at Michael’s beautiful home in South Lake Tahoe. My husband and I stayed with our two kids + our good friends. There was plenty of space for everyone. Michael’s home was clean and very comfortable. All the beds had clean linens and comfy mattresses. We enjoyed playing in the snow in the backyard. The yard in the winter is more flat than pictured which was perfect for our stay with the kids. Lots of snow play! The hot tub was also enjoyable and clean when we arrived. The fully stocked kitchen was well stocked. Michael’s home is also in a very nice and friendly neighborhood, close to a wonderful open space walking trail. Also great location to Tube Tahoe and Adventure mountain for tubing. Michael was a gracious and kind host! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful setting; very responsive host; quiet neighborhood; well appointed kitchen; roomy; and very clean.

Repeat visitor and it never disappoints! Love staying here, cozy and comfortable like a home away from home. New addition was a bidet! Love it, truly has all the extra touches that make you feel right at home.

Great place. Perfect location to beach, restaurants, groceries. Loved the fire pit and the deck over the lake . We had a great time., we’ll be back!

10/10 stay! Awesome location, walkable to Kings Beach. Lei was a great host. Responds in less than 5 minutes and is extremely friendly. The house was perfect for our group (7 people). We had a few meals in and the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, etc. that you would need. Very homey feel - would absolutely come back!!

Place was spacious and comfortable. We had trouble getting shower started but fiddled with it til it pulled on. Instructions about key pad and lock box were a bit confusing as there is no need for lockbox. All else great.

Loved the area - it’s right off of Lake Tahoe and during the wintertime, the lake was amazing during sunset. Location is decently close to a couple of big resorts and the overall space was pretty roomy. Place is two floors and could probably fit two couples.

If I could have given 10 stars for communication and location I would have! We had a fabulous vacay here and our young children enjoyed all the fun at the lake, playground, pool/hot tub, etc. Wayne and his staff were stellar. We would most definitely stay here again!

Great little place to stay, 12 min drive from Northstar and 3-5 min from shops and restaurants in Kings Beach. Stairs leading to the loft area could use a handrail, but they did specify that they're not suitable for children or the elderly, which is accurate! But the bed upstairs is super comfortable once you get up there. The sofa on the main level is not the same as pictured, but still comes out into a bed, although it's really only good for one person because the back center cushion doesn't come out and there's no actual mattress. But all in all this was a good place for a short stay, and the projector was awesome!

This place is very clean and very good.
