Welcome to Beach Hut No 5, set on Alum Chine beach in Bournemouth. The Beach hut has an enviable position with beach & sea views. A paid car park less than 5 minutes walk. Vesuvio (an Italian restaurant) is close by & to the left of the beach hut is the tropical gardens and children's play area. The hut is well equipped for a day at the beach. There is a stove and kettle for that all important tea or coffee & lots of beach essentials. We love coming here as a family & we hope you will too.

Glamping in one of our 5 rustic and very comfortable safari tents on our working dairy farm close to Swanage. Tents sleep up to 4 guests in a king bed, twin beds or double cabin style bed. Beds made up. Bring your own towels. Own shower room. Cook on the wood burning stove (with oven) or BBQ outside. Fantastic location and a beautiful house. Carole’s instructions were excellent and apart from the parking being quite a squeeze, the rest of the property was wonderful. We enjoyed lovely walks around the house, fish and chips on the beach and a lovely drink in The Cove pub. We took a boat from Portland Marina to Weymouth on one of our trips and this was well worth it. So much to do nearby and the house itself was a lovely home from home. We highly recommend.

Brought my 2 daughters for a mid week getaway during school holiday, wanted a retreat to get away and switch off from work and school , somewhere to relax. The pods were better than we expected! Looked exactly like their beautiful pictures , views were stunning , was peaceful but a 5 min drive away to amenities such as a great farm shop/restaurant , pubs and convenience store. Sue greeted us on arrival and was extremely friendly and helpful. The pods were so cozy , with their central heating, the LED lights inside added to the magic touch (kids loved it) Along with their blue tooth speaker . For such a small space it had everything and we didn’t at all feel cramped! It was pristinely clean. Woke up a little earlier today as hoped to see some deer in the fields , we weren’t disappointed as there was one lying on the grass just in front of us! Highly recommend this hidden gem, we will be back for sure.

We had a great stay at Robert and Lucia’s place. The house was spacious, quiet and comfortable, and suited our family of 5 perfectly. Lucia was extremely helpful with recommendations of places to eat in the area and also helped promptly with a minor setback. We really enjoyed Ashley Cross, and exploring the wider area of Poole and Bournemouth, and would happily return. Thank you Lucia and Robert!

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

Shona’s van was just lush. We had the sunniest, funnest few days at this brilliantly appointed van. Three beaches, beautiful, bright countryside walks across stunning scenery and precarious coastal paths within walking distance, meant we didn’t use the car for three days. The van was perfect, as was Shona’s warm welcome through baked beans and ketchup. We’ll definitely be back.

Waterfront Lodge With Log Burner - Club Casita

We had a wonderful stay at Club Casita, the view over Stanpit marshes is stunning, in January, you see the sun rise by the Isle of Wight travel over Hengistbury Head and set within the window viewport, and the wide variety of birdlife is beautiful to watch, like an animated painting. The lodge was very warm and cosy and had everything we needed, even a whirlpool bath! A freezer would have been useful for our longer stay but we managed fine without it. The beds were very comfy. Ample parking for 2 cars. It is a short (< 10 mins), flat walk along a picturesque riverside path to Christchurch where there is an M&S for groceries, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Our hosts, Candice and Dan were lovely and gave us a very warm welcome with a breakfast basket, festive decorations and a bottle of wine, and were very responsive to messages. Would definitely recommend Club Casita to family and friends!

The bed was super comfortable, the place is really stylish, and it’s an easy walk to a lovely pub and a great little tea room. Loads of brilliant walks nearby too. Clear instructions and a smooth stay – highly recommended!

What a special place to stay - we loved the beauty and the peaceful oasis and saw heron, pheasants, partridges, sheep and rabbits while staying in the bell tent it was so fun! Everything we needed provided to make a fire and watch the stars under the fairy lights too and lots of throws and blankets and comfy beds to sleep in. Very nice to have a private shower and kitchenette (sink and fridge and kettle to get ready in near by for the wedding we were attending the next day. Thank you Claire for sharing your rural retreat with us - we will come again x

Great little stay for a night away with the family. Its a simple camping field, but quiet and with what you need. The kids loved the animals staying next to the tents and plenty of space to run around. Wood can be provided to have fires, and we were given animal feed for free to feed the goats. Inside the tipi is spacious and the 3 beds are of good quality
