House vacation rentals in Sussex County

We need to stay in a place that was close to our family and this was perfect. Close to Goshen and Monroe. The house had plenty of room for 6. The kitchen, dishes, linens and towels were all in excess, which was great. Clean and very well appointed. The outside space was perfect, fire pit and beautiful deck. Loved this place!

This was the perfect stay for our family, we only wish we could have stayed longer. We stopped for one night while driving home to WNY from Manhattan, while exploring the Delaware Gap Recreation Area. The home was situated within a gated community with surrounding woods. The jacuzzi in the master suite was the perfect way to unwind after a few busy days in the city.

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse for a family pre-Thanksgiving get together. My parents purchased this farm in the 1950's and our family was raised here. All of my siblings wanted to see the updated house in person so we gathered here for one more Thanksgiving meal. The space has been transformed to something really special. The changes that were made to the house are incredible, yet the house still retains its original farmhouse charm. The space is warm and inviting, and there was plenty of room for everyone to be together for meals and games, but there were also enough spaces for people to have their quiet time. Thank you for hosting us.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Douglas’s home! The residence is well appointed, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host. The thoughtful touches like nespresso, Keurig and drip coffee machine as well as the extra throws, pillows and cozy blankets really made a difference. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, hassle-free experience. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

The home is remarkably spacious, clean and has a plethora of great amenities! It's in a wonderfully peaceful area which is a breath of fresh air and the home is a powerful source of relaxation and positive memories. Marcela is super attentive and helpful and answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. Highest recommendation: A+++

an extremely nice place , very large , great garden with hot tub. The large pool was already closed for the winter but we didn't need that with the wonderful hot tub. We searched as a family with children just outside of NYC and this house is great for excursions. To NYC (about 1.5 hours to the PATH or other trains) , nice excursions doable to Legoland (35 min) or to the large outlet (45 min). The surrounding area is great, very quiet but still central with a 15-minute drive to the bakery, supermarket, butcher or good restaurants. The communication was extremely good, super fast answers and very great tips. Even when we needed a doctor for our daughter, we were very well advised. Easy to recommend if you are looking for peace and still something central. Anytime we would book it again.

This Airbnb was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The host thought of everything with this house. From the decor to comfortablity. Very homely feel. This airbnb did not disappointe!!!! I would have gave 10 stars but only 5 was available :)

Very communicative host, would recommend for a short trip in the Bushkills area.

The house was lovely and as described. Worked very well for our multi generation family. The grandparents had a quiet downstairs bedroom off the kitchen and the young families with children had plenty of space on the second floor. Very clean upon arrival, the beds were comfortable and the showers were great. We had zero issues with this property and would not hesitate to book again.

Such a pretty area and peaceful area. Real nice apt. I loved having the decks to sit on in the morning listening to the birds. Enough beds for all of us and comfy too. We had a great stay over the Thanksgiving holiday to be close to Bear Brook Valley for a family wedding. The home was very quiet and comfortable. Robert proactively communicated and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Great option if you have a family event in the area.

Beautiful house in beautiful nature. We staid for thanksgiving with our family. Visited some of the farm shops and did some walks in the area and enjoyed spending time together. As the house is clutter free it’s easy to feel at home. Loved the wood burner inside and fire pit outside. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Nice that some basics are provided (oil, herbs and spices, foil, paper towel etc). Overall a great stay!

This place is fabulous, it could not have been more perfect for us! The house was very comfortable with myriad books and fascinating artwork everywhere you look. The location was serene, quiet and beautiful as well. The communication from beginning to end was stellar and our on-site host Jim was wonderful! This was a family trip back to our hometown after seven years and this house fit the bill in every way. We had friends and family stopping by and the screen porch and lovely outdoor seating areas made it feel so homey and comfortable for hanging out with them. Our 4-year old LOVED running around the private and beautiful grounds in the most glorious Fall weather! I can't wait to go back!

Me and my family love this place, very comfortable beds. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. PO chuck farm in gleenwood just 4 miles away sells the best apple cider donuts a must try.

Brian was better than wonderful. Overly responsive, was a pleasure to meet in person, overly accommodating, genuinely concerned for our peace of mind. Out of all the homes I’ve rented with Airbnb, by far the best. Highly recommend. We’ll absolutely rent again, just from a personal service standpoint.

My family and I were looking for a calm getaway, and that’s exactly what we found at Izzy and Joe’s! There is a lot to do in the area—cute town about 20 min away with great shopping and restaurants, and nearby hiking trails—but we mostly kept to the gorgeous, and comfortable house, which we loved. Joe and Izzy have exquisite taste. There are multiple comfy couches and chairs, games, many books, and tvs with all the options. And honestly the view is entertainment in itself! The beds are luxurious and everything is spotless. They’ve also thought of everything—you really can pack light. There’s an iPad with all sorts of info (about the house and the nearby area), and Joe and Izzy were very responsive and thoughtful, even offering to get the driveway shoveled when there was light snow. Fabulous, perfect trip, and we will definitely be back!

We had a very relaxing stay. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed it for. Even though it was a big house it still felt cozy. The property was beautiful and the location is great. We would love to come back in the spring. The local Westtown Fare restaurant was amazing!!! The fish stew is to die for and everything else was simply delicious. It’s also nice having dollar tree within walking distance We would definitely stay there again !

The host even had something to entertain our kids by providing a game system they loved playing with. The only small downside was having to walk up and down the stairs to the parking lot with our luggage, but it wasn’t a huge issue. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we’d definitely consider coming back!”

What an outstanding home! As soon as you walk in you’re welcomed by the most incredible smell and the space was just spectacular! The bed was super comfortable and the soaking tub was a dream! Highly recommend this home!
