We had a wonderful stay in Milford. The town is great, with some wonderful dining and shopping options. The house was everything we were hoping. Gorgeous location, plenty of space and amenities, and beds like clouds! It was the perfect retreat for a guys weekend, but I can’t wait to go back with the kids in the summer time! The driveway is a little scary in the winter but we had no problems with it!

We had a fantastic stay at Charlie’s cabin in Mount Vernon! The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect for peace and quiet, and the thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like home. Charlie was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat – we definitely hope to return in the future!

The cabin was super cozy and in a beautiful wooded setting. Dylan was responsive, friendly, and flexible.

The view blew us away. So peaceful even the kids 14,12 and 5 didn't want to leave. The stairs are something I stayed away from, too dangerous for me so I stayed downstairs. Easy fix. We will be back!!! Thank you Corrine 😊

Absolutely lovely lake house and we loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer. Bob was great in providing instructions and information, and was very flexible. There is good parking for 3 cars, pictures and description is very accurate. You do have to walk down a path and steps to the house (as pictured), and the three main bedrooms are upstairs. The views are the lake are fantastic! And the covered porch on the back of the house looking out over the lake is just wonderful. This was a very special gathering of lifelong friends for a wedding celebration nearby and it was such a great place to stay to enjoy spending time together in a beautiful setting. The kitchen is exceedingly well stocked with everything needed to cook and prepare meals, great appliances and both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker (preferred) is provided. Wifi worked well. Bathrooms very clean. Lovely linens, bedding and towels provided. Bob was a wonderful host and this is a wonderful gem of a place.

We had a wonderful stay! It was even more beautiful in person. The fireplace was amazing and the kitchen was fully stocked. the host was friendly and responsive, making everything easy and stress-free. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

William’s cabin is like something out of a movie. The cabin itself is beautiful, made with exceptional craftsmanship. The floors are all hardwood, but our dogs had no problems with it (they usually won’t walk on wood floors). The location is so peaceful, I’d never guess how close we were to shops - but William left a binder with minimal, easy house instructions and lists of all sorts of local attractions - farms, wineries, restaurants, and so on. Everything appliwas as described and worked perfectly. The grounds are almost park-like, but there’s no doubt you’re in nature. We heard barred owls near the cabin at night, and down by the river by day are kingfishers, herons, pileated woodpeckers, and all the usual smaller birds. Obviously, bring bug spray, as with everywhere that’s more rural. There are hiking trials nearby, & the cabin is easy walking distance to the Appalachian trail - if you take it heading west, you’ll get gorgeous views. Overall, 10/10 can’t wait to come back

Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is so clean and rustic. The game room was so fun, we spent hours in it. The backyard with the creek was perfect. We had the best time. I wouldn’t suggest going with a Sedan car since it’s the mountains and it can be very icy and snowy. The host was very attentive and clear.

Very nice place, just a few minutes drive to Mountain Creek, so we could be on the mountain early before the crowds. The fireplace was a nice bonus during a cold week. The kitchen was well stocked, and Kristina was very responsive when we had a small issue. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Shari's place in Milford! It was a perfect way to get out of Philly for a bit and enjoy winter in the Poconos. Great communication, easy check in, personal touches around the house, thoughtful recommendations. The house is so charming - we loved the design inside and out. The fireplace was a real highlight for us - cozying up every night! Also, the main bedroom has an incredibly comfy bed. A perfect long weekend destination!

This is probably the most 'at home' that I felt in a vacation home. The cabin was comfortable with multiple seating areas accessorized with blankets and pillows. We were lucky enough to stay during an extra wintery-snowy weekend so we spent most of our time cooking, listening to music (and playing the Ukulele which was a nice surprise) and playing games. The reserve behind the house is so beautiful, easy to access and so close by. As many other mentioned, Susan's hospitality was above and beyond, which really help the feeling of being at home. Can't wait for our next time. We will miss it in the meanwhile.

From the moment we arrived, we felt so cozy and comfortable. The snowfall outside created a magical winter wonderland, and the fireplace added the perfect touch of warmth and ambiance. The cabin itself was beautifully maintained, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We would absolutely love to come back again—highly recommend!

It was exactly what we needed. We're an incredibly busy New York City family with little-to-no time to do the nice things and just...be a "family," and we were able to do those things in Elise's cabin, in addition to skiing, enjoying a fireplace, and generally just enjoying each other's company. Plus, there's a solid thai place down the road (West Milford Thai Restaurant; the pad thai was bangin'), not-to-mention a Shoprite, a couple liquor stores and everything else you might nearby, including a dispensary, if that's your thing. ENJOY!

The place was secluded. the hot tub was perfect. The basement was real chill to hang out on a snowy icy evening

Very cozy, private, clean and feellikehome spot. Beautiful house on the lake with everything you need. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to everyone who is looking forward for a little getaway from busy life. Great host, responds quickly if any questions, clear instructions and info made my stay super comfortable and memorable. Great experience.

Gorgeous A-frame with serene lake view location. We enjoyed skiing at Mountaincreek and would love to return in the summer.

I loved this cute cabin, perfect for what my husband and I were looking for and great location, close to Mountain Greek for skiing and close to the little restaurants near by, the place was very quiet and a wonderful atmosphere. We loved it, highly recommend it and will definitely be back! Thank you Mays!

Beautiful cabin and responsive hosts. You can really tell that all the furnishings are deliberate and gathered from many travels. Kitchen had everything I needed to put together a special dinner for my partner. My only wish is that I visited in the spring/fall to explore the vast property.
