Great place to getaway

Great spot to pick for a family getaway. Plenty for young and old to do on premises. Very peaceful setting, beautiful scenery and the rental was well kept and maintained. I would highly recommend to anybody who needs a break from The real world to rent this place to recharge.

We had a fantastic stay at Charlie’s cabin in Mount Vernon! The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect for peace and quiet, and the thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like home. Charlie was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat – we definitely hope to return in the future!

Wonderful cabin with a beautiful view of the river. The back deck was wonderful to have, even in January. Very private. Everything was very clean and thoughtful things like coffee and toiletries were provided. The town was lovely and had several very good restaurants (Tom Quick Inn and the diner especially). We had a lovely time here.

Beautiful location with several waterfalls nearby. Some waterfalls (and their parking lots) are closed during winter, but we were able to hike to them from back ways. Looking forward to coming back here in the Spring!

The view blew us away. So peaceful even the kids 14,12 and 5 didn't want to leave. The stairs are something I stayed away from, too dangerous for me so I stayed downstairs. Easy fix. We will be back!!! Thank you Corrine 😊

Absolutely lovely lake house and we loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer. Bob was great in providing instructions and information, and was very flexible. There is good parking for 3 cars, pictures and description is very accurate. You do have to walk down a path and steps to the house (as pictured), and the three main bedrooms are upstairs. The views are the lake are fantastic! And the covered porch on the back of the house looking out over the lake is just wonderful. This was a very special gathering of lifelong friends for a wedding celebration nearby and it was such a great place to stay to enjoy spending time together in a beautiful setting. The kitchen is exceedingly well stocked with everything needed to cook and prepare meals, great appliances and both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker (preferred) is provided. Wifi worked well. Bathrooms very clean. Lovely linens, bedding and towels provided. Bob was a wonderful host and this is a wonderful gem of a place.

I came and stayed with my husband and 3 kids and we all had a wonderful time. The game room was a hit with the kids and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to get snow each day of our visit and it made the creek out back even more magical! We hope to come back and visit again soon. Thank you!

It was a quiet, complete stay. The house was well located, equipped, comfortable, welcoming. The communication with Kristina was incredible, fluid, very responsive and very helpful. I would definitely stay at your house again.

We loved our stay at Shari's place in Milford! It was a perfect way to get out of Philly for a bit and enjoy winter in the Poconos. Great communication, easy check in, personal touches around the house, thoughtful recommendations. The house is so charming - we loved the design inside and out. The fireplace was a real highlight for us - cozying up every night! Also, the main bedroom has an incredibly comfy bed. A perfect long weekend destination!

You are in for a real treat. This wonderful home is ALL it claims to be an SO MUCH MORE. Plan on taking long and secluded hikes through the hemlock forest, bring food and drink and things to do if you tend to become bored. There are tons of games, records, and things you would never think you of provided by the homeowner. The hiking vests and hats for hunting season were a nice touch! We will be booking another stay this spring because the cold hampered my ability to have a very long hike. Everything about the cabin and the surroundings were absolutely perfect. The deli at the end of the road surprised me with a 5 star hoagie. The tavern has a fantastic kitchen, pool table and pinball. Definitely book this amazing place and get yourself a little bit of the nature you so desperately need.

Where from the moment we were welcomed by the the fireplace thing on being on, we immediately felt right at home. The house offered every amenity to have a relaxing and restful weekend away. It’s charm and decor matched the cabin feel wonderfully.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful little getaway. Elise provided us with restaurant recommendations, the home was stocked with essentials, it was close to grocery stores and food. Elise also made sure the walkway and driveway were cleared after it snowed.

Pawel's place was great! He was very responsive and extremely helpful. They house was beautiful, and perfect for our needs! We would absolutely visit again!

Definitely would stay there again and recommend to everyone who is looking forward for a little getaway from busy life. We had a great stay, and Neik and Nikki were wonderful hosts! Perfect little cabin get away with our pup and baby. We particularly enjoyed exploring the cute towns / restaurants nearby in Warwick and otherwise. We were a bit worried about snow and getting out of the gravel road, but the roads were really well plowed and our hosts had a great plow service for the driveway / sidewalk too!

I loved this cute cabin, perfect for what my husband and I were looking for and great location, close to Mountain Greek for skiing and close to the little restaurants near by, the place was very quiet and a wonderful atmosphere. We loved it, highly recommend it and will definitely be back! Thank you Mays!
