Cottage vacation rentals in Susquehanna River

My husband and I went for our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved it, very private and cozy. We got to relax in the hot tub and then hang out with the fire place. We took our dogs with us and it was great the back yard was private for them. The only concern we had was the steps but other than that we would definitely go back!!

The place was very beautiful, clean, cozy, had all the convenient amenities. The host was very responsive and check-in was very easy. The place is spacious and well decorated. I had an amazing time with my family of 4. The jacuzzi was great amenity and it snowed when we went making it feel like a winter wonderland- We will definitely be back!

Was the perfect cottage for our yearly kid free getaway. The house had everything we needed and Mark and Jessica left nice little touches everywhere. We enjoyed the smores. I also loved how the bathroom contained toiletries in case you forgot your own. There were nice breweries and restaurants close by and a supermarket only a few minutes away. Other than going out for food and drinks, we stayed in and enjoyed the house. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay was just what we needed - quiet, peaceful, relaxing! This cottage was perfect for our three night getaway. It’s super close to downtown and Levon Helm Studios. One note - I would not recommend this cottage for tall people! It was perfect for us, but we’re both short. Still, I bumped my head twice and my feet hung off the end of the bed. Otherwise, a really peaceful, cozy cottage that was perfect for our stay in Woodstock!

Large, beautiful space with great big leather couches and beautiful bathroom where we felt immediately comfortable, great fenced in backyard.

Really felt right at home at Darlas cottage. It was peaceful and allowed me to turn off from electronics and enjoy quality time with my Fiancee and dog in the surrounding nature. Lots of available hiking trails not far from the property. Everything was clean and well kept and i literally slept like a baby. Looking forward to another stay and its pet friendly!

The Catskills Country Cottage is a lovely place to stay! The Cottage is clean, bright, and modern. The backyard deck provided a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet and beautiful scenery. We brought our dogs, and the fenced-in backyard area was a good size for the two dogs to run and play. The rail trail was also nearby which was a nice place to go for a walk. We'd definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!

Thank you for sharing this cozy and well-appointed cottage. We were very comfortable and appreciative of the natural surroundings. The cottage feels like a family vacation home, clean but all the comforts, and not too fancy, and worked well for our relaxing holiday. We appreciated the casual holiday season touches! There is a spiral staircase to upper loft, so make sure that will work for you. It did for us! look forwad to coming back in other seasons, as I think this location will be very differently beautful over the year.

Olga’s place is a beautiful oasis in Shohola and is an excellent place for a nature getaway. Narrowsburg and Port Jervis are close by, plus access to a number of outdoor activities nearby. Olga’s communication is clear, the place is kept extremely clean, and is as seen in the photos. Highly recommend for your next getaway in the area.

Brian and Melissa’s place on the lake was great! Very cozy and clean. Skaneateles is a great town with some very good restaurants. Also went to Seneca Falls to the It’s a Wonderful Life Museum. A must for fans of the movie. Thank you Brian and Melissa for a great last minute getaway weekend.

Our stay at this charming cottage was perfect. It was exactly the Thanksgiving week getaway that we wanted from NYC. It is very private and peaceful. Even though it was cold(er), we still enjoyed sitting outside with our morning coffee. The cottage was very comfortable and exactly as described in the posting and photos. Very cozy and perfect for 2 people! We would love to stay here in Spring-Summer! It is less than 10 minutes' from Lake Minnewaska State Park, which has wonderful hiking trails that range in challenge. Hannaford Grocery Store (nice and well stocked) was 10 minutes in Modena. New Paltz was less than 15 minutes where we enjoyed several dining options. We highly recommend eating at Clay at Wildflower Farms (about 3-mi drive up the road from the cottage!). Amitai recommended and we were not disappointed. Go early and enjoy a cocktail by the fire before dinner. (definitely make reservations). Amitai was a great host and very communicative! Highly recommend!

Maria’s Creekside cottage is a cozy, comfortable place to land during a Lancaster getaway. The home’s setting on the creek and quiet street in the neighborhood were idyllic. The house is small but she has thought of anything you might need to be comfortable, and the space works well for a couple it small family. Maria was a blessing to communicate with, she was very kind and accommodating throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a comfortable and economical place to stay near Lancaster.

We were in town for a quick trip for a friend’s wedding and the property was perfect for our needs. Clean, cozy, and walking distance to the cute coffee shop and other points of interest. It was easy to find, easy to get in, and the creek access was great for a relaxing morning. Would definitely stay again!

The accommodation is really clean and has all the amenities so you can relax comfortably. The location is also about 15 minutes away from Ithaca, so it's good for traveling to Ithaca. Above all, I was happy to have a cup of coffee on the terrace with my son because the surrounding natural environment was good, and the campfire was also good in the brazier behind the country house. Aaron was very kind and answered the question quickly. Thank you for giving me a happy time ^^

Five stars! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse — the nature views are gorgeous, the bed was super comfy, the bathrooms were sparkling. All the extra touches — ginger tea, soft blankets, a box of cookies — made the stay even nicer. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to return.

This was our third time staying with Tammy- as always, we had a great time enjoying all the amenities while reconnecting with each other. Fresh baked cookies to welcome us, beautiful seasonal decor, immaculately clean and cozy spaces, and comfortable furniture...what isn't there to love about Tammy's space? Not to mention the large back deck where we enjoyed sipping morning coffee while the multitude of feathered friends entertained us nearby- it's always a refreshing oasis to stay at Creswell Cottage! Tammy is a great host and never disappoints...we hope to return again sometime! Thank you for your flexibility and accommodations!

Dara and Dave’s place was a dream. It was exactly what we were hoping for—clean, peaceful, inspiring. When a snow storm unexpectedly hit, Dara went above and beyond to make sure we had the provisions necessary to be fed and comfortable. We loved getting to explore Phoenicia and nearby towns! Will definitely be coming back!
