Highly recommend! Our stay was absolutely perfect and just what we needed to unwind and decompress. The peacefulness of nature and the seclusion of the property created a serene retreat from the constant hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. With perfect weather, we spent our days enjoying the firepit, making s'mores, and sipping on libations – a wonderful tradition that became a highlight of our weekend. We were conveniently close to the Shohola Falls, which was a great spot to visit, but the Bushkill Falls – Pennsylvania’s very own Niagara Falls – truly stole the show. Glenn made the whole experience easy, from booking the cabin to answering all our questions before we arrived. This trip was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, enjoyed by myself, my wife, our two teenage children, and our pups. It’s a long weekend we will remember fondly for years to come. We had a great stay at the Basswood cabin. Our little dog Max had a blast on the property trails. This was our first visit to the Finger Lakes, we will definitely be back.

Close to the park, secluded, quiet, beautiful little cabin. 30 minutes from all the beautiful falls in the area. Wineries right up the road. Perfect location.

We stayed at this property the weekend of our wedding and it was perfect! The house and surrounding area were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! It was clean and stocked well with supplies. All the amenities listed were present and functioned well. Jeanne was a wonderful host! She was very responsive and made us feel right at home! We couldn't recommend this Airbnb more and can’t wait to visit again!

Loved the deer roaming right in the yard and nearby field each morning and evening. Incredibly comfortable home and furnishings. Being able to use the hot tub was one of the reasons we chose this place. We can only say great things about this place and hope to stay in the future! Thank you for being a great host!!

Older house but very comfortable. Two bedrooms upstairs are railroad so you will have to walk through one to get to the other. One bathroom but it's nice and well stocked. Nice views into the farms and valleys. Only issue we had was one of my friends was afraid of the old house noises from the wind. Great for families or a few friends looking for a low key place to stay

I booked this property as a kind of ad hoc writing retreat. It was the perfect location to complete what work I needed to do. A quick drive into Sparta for restaurants and supplies also made this a great location.

This is our 2nd stay @ “Pinewood Retreat” because we absolutely LOVED this home the 1st time (4/2024)!!! We love this property so much that we have decided to make this an annual family trip. The pictures are accurate & the home is lovely. It is family (kid) friendly, which is very important to us. It also has a reclining chair that is a must-have for my husband. He & I, along with our 3 adult children, their spouses & their kids will continue to enjoy this property for as long as it is available. We’ll be back in 2026…

We had a great time! The unit is an easy walk to Minerals, and the layout was perfect for our needs. Joann was a fantastic host and we can’t wait to stay again!

We had a terrific time. It’s a lovely home- 20 min from Shawnee mountain and steps away from an indoor/outdoor pool facility (depends on weather), sledding hill and small skiing hill with ski lift. I would absolutely stay here again- and highly recommend for anyone with young kids looking to teach them to ski. Very very convenient. The hosts were available for questions and were friendly/flexible. Incredible customer service. We will be back!
