Villa vacation rentals in Sumter County

Spent a week at Michael and Peggy's lovely home. We were in FLA under stressful circumstances and their timely responses and proactive communication was the perfect amount of 'reminding' that I needed with so much else going on. Spending most of our time at banks, attorneys and doctors, it was truly a pleasure to 'come home' to the beautifully decorated, absolutely immaculate and well stocked home (towels!! so many towels!! :) comfy beds & couches, beach/pool supplies/cooler/everything and anything you could need or want for the kitchen including a starter of coffee filters~so important when arriving at midnight!). We even got to enjoy Hulu (which we don't have at home...lol got to watch Season2 of Only Murders...yay). We didn't get a chance to use the pool or golf cart but it was nice to know it was there if we wanted. We have stayed in quite a few airbnb units in the Villages and elsewhere....I recommend that you give this home a try. You won't be sorry.

Don’t hesitate to stay at Michael’s Airbnb! Making the reservation was easy and Michael answered all of our questions promptly. Directions to the home were easy to follow. The home was just as described. We felt immediately at home. Everything you needed for your stay is included. A golf cart is provided to make you feel you are living “The Villages Lifestyle. Magnolia Plaza is right around the corner featuring a Publix, restaurants etc. A short golf cart ride allowed us to play golf on 4 executive golf courses. We enjoyed listening to music at Ednas’ On The Green and Sawgrass Grove where different musicians play daily. We enjoyed our stay so much we plan on rebooking with Michael the next time we are in the area. Kudos to our host Michael, his warm wonderful amenity filled home and a location second to none to enjoy “The Villages Lifestyle.”

The villa was just as listed and so well stocked with supplies for our stay. Ryan and Melissa were timely and helpful for the rare situations that we needed to contact them. What a beautiful and peaceful setting!

Thank you Mike for an incredible stay and great experience! One of the best we have ever had, and one of the most beautifully designed and color-coordinated villas we have been in with Airbnb. Mike's villa is in a well-maintained quiet-gated community, and we felt very safe and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The physical space is spotless, spacious, comfortable and had everything needed and more including having available for use an awesome Sonos sound system. Our Superhost, Mike, was incredibly generous with his time and suggestions. You can tell he truly enjoys hosting. He has created a quiet oasis to use as a base to explore The Villages. This unique villa is artistic beyond description. It has been lovingly restored by Mike and filled with his choice of art/furniture collection all for his guests enjoyment. Loved the atmosphere of the neighborhood and meeting some of our new friendly neighbors during our stay. Our host was warm, engaging, and we would definitely stay again!

Very nice, clean and well-maintained house in the villages. Convenient for pets with dog park within walking distance. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The place was very nice. Alex responded to all our needs. Place was well supplied with many of the things you need. I recommend this place.

Our stay was very comfortable. Beds are super comfortable and great shower. The kitchen was very well stocked with things such as enough paper towels, dish soap, baggies, foil - just little things, plus a large selection of dinnerware and glasses. The area was very central to both Lake Sumpter and Brownwood Paddock which we enjoyed.

This is Mike's wife. We stayed at Scott's house for 30 nights. It is very well stocked, especially the kitchen! One of the reasons that we rented it is because it has a recliner and I have a bad hip, so all I needed to do after riding in the car 3 1/2 days from Minnesota was to sit with my leg elevated, but the recliner was broken. The pics show 4 dining room chairs but there are only 3, which didn't matter to us as it was just the two of us, also the carpets in the bedrooms are dirty, especially in the doorway of the master. Scott is a very responsive host, always answered us back!

We had a nice stay for 4 nights at Diane’s house. The house is very clean located in a quiet neighborhood. Bed in Master is very comfortable. House is well equipped with everything one needs. Would definitely stay again if we visit The Villages.

The villa was exactly as pictured. The neighborhood was very quiet but was in a great location. Restaurants and shopping are less than five minutes away. The Square at Spanish Springs is a five minute walk from the villa. The villa has a very nice private yard which our dog loved. At the end of the street is a cart path and walking path. There was a golf cart, although we didn’t use it, it was an extra benefit of the villa. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering to rent it. The hosts are local and very responsive.

Perfect location between Sumter Landing and Brownwood Pool was a quarter mile away. Great meals at the nearby Country clubs. Uncluttered garage with washer and dryer

Susan’s place was more beautiful than the pictures showed. The pool is remarkable. Golf card was perfect! Short golf cart ride to the Spanish Square that had live music every night and a grocery store for all our needs. This place is a perfect stay!

We loved our stay! The villa was exactly as described and in a great location. The golf cart was an added luxury that we really enjoyed.

The house is very beautiful and homey. The owners thoroughly anticipated what vistors need to feel comfortable and safe.

We had a wonderful one month stay. Erin was courteous, helpful and responsive from the start. We highly recommend this host. We are looking forward to returning again.
