What a wonderful and beautiful cabin to stay with a large group! There was plenty of room in the house for the 8 of us to stay comfortably. The cabin is super close to Bear Mountain Resort and there's a great view of the slopes from the balcony. The house was spotless and squeaky clean and had all the necessary amenities to feel right at home. We checked in with Jeff the first night who is very responsive, thoughtful, and friendly. FYI there are a lot of steps leading up the house so I would keep that in mind if there's anyone in your party with a disability. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this house in Big Bear! The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for us. The view from the house was stunning. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough great things about our stay at Lidia’s home. She was very responsive to every message I sent (only necessary while settling in, and most everything was already covered from the house rules and instructions). Great location close to many activities, easy to get to in the snow if worried about that. Lidia’s home truly felt special and was an amazing time. Our kids really enjoyed it, especially the sleds and snowball makers, the board games, and we had a great time making smores, and using the fireplace. We also loved the jacuzzi and modern style of the house. Also to note we really appreciated that someone came promptly to clear off the driveway without us even mentioning anything. We are hoping to come to Lidia’s place yearly! It was so special and she is an amazing host, so communicative and quick to respond. Couldn’t say enough great things.

Great communication! Unit was ready early and we were able to check in then. The unit is SUPER clean and close to Ski area. Thank you for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Diana was super responsive and helpful. The only complaint we have is that we wish the house didn’t rely so much on natural lighting as it was relatively dark at night especially in the bathroom.

Walking distance to snow summit and restaurants. Friendly and helpful hosts. Enjoyed the bar, fire pit and spa.

Beautiful place, location and amenities….

Ryan and Rosie are the perfect hosts. We left a pair of sunglasses, and they tracked us down and sent them fed ex back to us!! Who does that nowadays? The place was lovely --especially the great room/kitchen/dining room which is where you spend the majority of your family time. Absolutely clean. No complaints

Very comfortable for 4 people. The cabin was cozy and had several amenities that made the trip easier than anticipated. My party felt very safe with the many security measures and easy to use locks. Bear Mountain was super close by as well. The driveway was a little icy during our winter stay but the lower lot was very helpful.

Carrie was responsive, helpful, and flexible with check-in. She communicated quickly via text. Place slept us all comfortably and private, quiet location.

We were here to evacuate from Eaton Canyon fire, my home wasn’t directly affected by the fires, but close enough that I’ve been displaced. We had a relief with cozy home, very neat useful kitchen, big outside spa and clean bath, clean linen comfy beds and couches. Very pet and kids friendly. Bob is very prompt and easy to communicate and we were really grateful that he accommodated one more night when our kids got sick unexpectedly. Thank you for being a super host for us!

I stayed at Joel’s place for about 2 weeks in the winter and it was great! Location is private but close enough to town. About 10-15 minute drive to the resorts and village. Place is comfy and the heater works great! Brought my dog and she loved the backyard and neighborhood for walks. Will definitely be staying here again. Joel is a great host!!

Easy to find, felt right at home! The jacuzzi was one of the highlights was hot and nice, as well the place was so cute and clean!

This place was perfect! It is situated in moon ridge so easy to get to the zoo and trails. The house is small, but has everything you need and more. The wood burning fire place was such a treat, and the owner even had wood available for use. I needed to charge my electric vehicle but wasn’t sure it would work with the 220V outlet, but with an adapter, it worked perfectly. The best part of this rental was how easy it was to get in, use the amenities and communicate with the owner. He was very responsive and even checked in within 24 hours to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The hot tub is a nice touch, but be advised, it is not private in the backyard. I thought the price was very good especially for a holiday.

Our group of 10 (six adults and four kids) had a great time. The house was comfortable and there was more than enough space for everyone. The location was also very convenient. We love the hot tub and the games in the garage were a huge hit. The host was extremely responsive and we had a wonderful time.

Really cozy cabin with plenty of rooms and space. My kids enjoyed being surrounded by nature and the walking distance to the market store. If you planning to stay here, I would just recommend to bring your own coffee, spices, water and toiletries since they are not provided.

Kraig was very helpful and responsive when needed. The trails behind the house was worth every penny alone and the village is 10 minutes down the road. Hot tub and fireplace makes the place feel warm and cozy. Awesome mining history behind the house is very interesting.

Great cabin. Perfect for my small family. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking essentials. Local to everything. Truly enjoyed the space.

Everything you need for a great cabin right next to the village and all the shops and restaurants. You can walk everywhere. Well appointed cabin with dish ware in the kitchen and bathroom toiletries to use.

The cabin felt like home right from the start; it looked exactly like the photos from the inside and out. It was easy to find it and to park. The surroundings were peaceful and completely quiet day and night. It took me 5 minutes of easy walk from the Bear Mountain slopes back up to the cabin. You can see the slopes from the cabin especially from the upstairs den. The cabin was always toasty warm, there were no cold spots at all. In addition, all beds had a heated mattress that you could turn on. The water pressure was excellent and the water was really hot at all times. The jacuzzi looked brand new, that's how clean it was. It was amazing sitting in it at night and watch the stars in the sky. The Castle Rock Rentals co-host Mark was the best host I've ever dealt with. He was friendly, polite, proactive and extremely helpful. He mead me feel like no matter what would happen at Big Bear, he would always be there to help me. His services and the cabin overall exceeded my expectations.
