Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sugar Mountain

Alicia is a wonderful host who gave clear instruction and her adorable cabin served as a perfect and comfortable home base for us while we visited our family in Spruce Pine area. We slept well every night. The view was unbeatable! Very easy to go to Burnsville downtown area for shopping. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my 21st birthday and had a fantastic time! This house had the most stunning views of the mountains, and there was plenty of land to walk around and explore. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing, and everything was just overall perfection. Will definitely be staying here again!

The house was great and just what was described. The price was fair and fit 10 people just like it said it would. Very close to the slopes and sits right on the golf course. The kitchen was large and there were plenty of bathrooms for a large group staying in the house. I’d recommend staying here for anyone coming to beech!

Beautiful location with no real complaints. There are just minor nuances regarding logistics, such as how to get there in case of GPS failure, and small details like the thermostat being a bit tricky. However, these are very minor issues. I highly recommend this place. It seems that some things have been altered over time, and the instructions provided may not yet be fully up-to-date, but this was hardly an inconvenience. Everything was great overall. As a general suggestion, the cleaning fee for short stays with two people could be lower than for longer stays with more guests. For instance, a cleaning fee of over $100 for a two-night stay feels quite high. While this may be the nature of how things work, it’s worth noting that the reasonable daily rate combined with Airbnb fees and cleaning fees can increase the cost by about 25%, which seems excessive.

Mountain, country feel. Very comfortable and beautiful place! Martha was very responsive and very helpful! Will definitely be back!

This is our second time at this cabin and it is one of favorite places. Susan even put up a Christmas tree which was wonderful. Will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hibernation station. It is a very cozy, clean condo and we felt right at home. We didn’t anticipate how walkable it was! The kids loved being able to walk to the playground and to the sledding hill. Without little kids, I could also have walked to some of the local restaurants. The kids LOVED the pool, spa, and game room. We will definitely be back!

Lynn is a wonderful host who even let our dogs out while we were away. the apartment is small but functional and the backyard is amazing. will stay again!!

This was our second stay here. Plenty of space to relax without being on top of each other and convenient to restaurants and shops.

Joanna was beyond helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The unit was cute, clean and well appointed; we look forward to staying there again.

Brenda was so great! She was so helpful and proactive. The condo was really nice and cozy! I felt right at home. The building has a convenience store in the lobby and a restaurant on the second floor plus there were shuttles to help get around the area so it was an awesome place to stay!

Third time staying here. Awesome accommodations and perfect location for visiting West Jefferson. Highly recommend.

Ron and Martha were the perfect hosts for our family's Thanksgiving weekend. The house is stunning and the views breathtaking. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen which provided everything new needed to cook all weekend. Ron and Martha provided detailed directions and instructions for our arrival and parking and were super responsive to our questions. We look forward to being able to stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful location! The photos really don’t do the place justice. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary… it was everything we wanted & so much more. Beautiful & private home with AMAZING views. The home is located next to other units; however, the trees surrounding the property give more than enough privacy. Hosts were friendly and gave clear instructions. Would definitely recommend this place for a romantic getaway! We loved every minute of it! P.s. try to arrive during daylight, it makes finding the location much easier.
