Cottage vacation rentals in Sturgeon Lake

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

We had a very relaxing, peaceful time at the cottage, it is the perfect place to recharge! Everything in the description is true. The place is spotless, tastefully done, awesome woodstove with wood supplied. The kitchen spice cupboard is a dream. The host even has some coffee if you run low. Everything is top of the line, what a treat! Another treat is feeding the birds, chipmunks, red squirrels and a friendly black one. Jars of food to share with our furry friends! This is our second time visiting. The location is easy to find and down the road from Apsley.Definitely worth the drive! Thanks Stephen we'll visit again.

I can't put into words how peaceful this place was. If fate allows, I've already made up my mind to go back!! The house is super spacious, clean and well stocked. Elena did a great job in creating such an inclusive and beautiful home. 5 stars + 3! Everything was seamless and caused us no issues. Thanks so much for having me!

Rachel was a great host. Answered any question I had and was flexible with time. The place was beautiful, great outdoor space and backyard. Sitting on the boathouse every morning looking at the lake was exactly why we booked here. Highly recommend, would definitely come here again!

The house was cozy, with beautiful views that made for a relaxing stay. Despite the unexpected storm, Roxana was attentive and kind, ensuring we had everything we needed. We appreciated the well-equipped space and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Would love to stay again!

James is a very responsible and helpful host. We have a water shortage issue caused by the bad weather during our stay. James helped us with the problem and responded very efficiently. Nice view and good environment. I recommend the place!

We started with Amanda proactively reaching out and to advise we could arrive early which was a great start to the weekend. It was a very clean, organized and cute cottage, perfect for the weekend away. Unfortunately we got hit by the crazy ice storm and during the weekend we lost power. Right from our arrival Amanda had mentioned the potential weather coming and was so proactive and caring to reach out and check in regularly. Even though we had no power we still had a great time, playing cards and catching up on conversations by candlelight. Amanda was very informative about how to manage the cottage while the power was out and all went well. On the day we left, trees were downed in the area and the weather had done lots of damage. We still had no power and we really thought it was best to head out early as more trees were coming down. As we still had no power we couldn’t clean up as planned. Amanda was extremely understanding and her only concern was our safety. Lovely hosts!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Very easy to find. Excellent record music selection and the PAC man wall game was a blast from the past and loads of fun! The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. Decor has a beachy relaxing vibe. Large windows facing the water. Beach is rocky and you will need water shoes for the warmer months if you're a swimmer. Only thing I'll caution is the living room sectional is low to the ground for us older adults with back/hip issues but fantastic for kids lol. Bedrooms are upstairs. The bed I slept in was very comfortable, lots of hot water for showers, wifi worked, lots of kitchen supplies/cutlery, and there were some Keurig cups there for coffee. I'd recommend bringing more if you're more than a cup a day drinker solo or more people staying. Overall I highly recommend.

Had an amazing quiet isolated getaway with my family. We had everything we needed. Beautiful spacious place, games, tv with Netflix and Disney ect ( so handy for the kids) hot tub and sauna. amazing place and amazing host. Was always just a txt away.

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

We had an amazing time in Bala for March Break! This was our first visit to Bala, but our fourth year booking an Airbnb with our best friends, trying out a different space each year. The house was perfect for our group of four adults and four kids, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other's company. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic for unwinding after a day of fun. We all loved the pool table and foosball table—plenty of friendly competition! The quaint, walkable streets made it easy to explore the local shops and cafes. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend for a cozy getaway!

The coach house is a stunning, peaceful retreat from the every day. Not only does it look like a space straight out of Architectural Digest, but it feels warm and inviting, private and peaceful. (So very insta-worthy in its decor and aesthetic.) Kieran and Tara (and their sweet pups 🐾) were wonderful hosts. Quick to respond and very helpful. The location is perfect as it’s only a few minutes from Cobourg and St. Anne’s spa.

We stayed 4 nights at Bryan's cottage and had a wonderful time. Very beautiful view of the lake. Although it was still a bit chilly in April, we were very cozy and warm at the cottage. It was very clean, well stocked, and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The cottage even had some board games. Bryan was very responsive and was a great host overall. 5/5. Would highly recommend!

we had a great stay at Nicole's cottage! spacious, comfortable, clean and with everything we needed for a calm and cozy winter getaway. we were able to go for walks even with all the snow thanks to the well maintained roads and it felt so good coming back to a warm and beautiful space!! thank you for hosting us 🫶

Beautiful property on Lake Simcoe with more than enough room for everyone we absolutely loved our stay and requested to stay longer but unfortunately it was committed to other guests. Great hosts, great communication. This property is the place to stay if you are looking for a spacious, lakefront property with privacy in Innisfil which is very hard to find. Highly recommended!

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!
