The cottage was exactly as advertised - quiet, clean, and in a great location. Sam provided very clear instructions for entry. Zero complaints about anything.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The lake view was absolutely stunning, making the experience even more special. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and responsive, making the check-in process smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Can’t wait to visit again!

James is a very responsible and helpful host. We have a water shortage issue caused by the bad weather during our stay. James helped us with the problem and responded very efficiently. Nice view and good environment. I recommend the place!

Great location at the north end of Scugog Island. Walking trails at the end of the street about 100 meters away were great for walking dogs and exploring. Beautiful lakefront views in well appointed AirBnb. All the amenities you would need and more. We had a family gathering, and were able to fully function and cook and enjoy the space. Coffee provider with Keurig, tea and sugar and cooking oil. All the little things you need but are often missing from AirBnb rentals. The house was well laid out and people could enjoy the downstairs area where we did some crafts and played Foosball. Would be even more amazing in the summer with the large deck that wraps around the house. Very nice spot. Feels like a home not an AirBnb sterile empty unit.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. Mattresses are very firm That may be a personal preference. If you are looking for a relaxing week or weekend this is the place. You can make a fire outside directly in front of the water. Beautiful sunset. Beaverton is 20 mins away if you want to go into town. I do recommend a stay here. You will feel refreshed.

My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

Sara's space is clean, quiet and overall very relaxing. They have games for your kids downstairs while also having all of the amenities needed upstairs. We settled in nicely over our 5 day stay and could definitely see ourselves returning. That said, to help others with their decision, note that the cottage is situated along a very long dirt road that is not well maintained by the municipality. There are other homes in the area but I don't know if a winter visit is right for those without an SUV or Pickup. We went shortly after a large storm and there was a lot of trees down along the road, one of which had fallen onto Sara's sign with house number, so we did drive right past it on the way in. The only other wish I would have is that the hottub be a little closer to the cottage, but it's a minor thing. I would highly recommend Sara's space for those looking for a private, out of the way cottage stay. Bracebridge is about 20kms away but the cottage has everything you need 😀

We had a great family weekend at Tedmond's cottage! We loved the property and the deck, although outside lighting maybe could have been a but brighter. Overall though, we enjoyed it! Thanks for having us!

Spent 2 nights for a quick getaway. Enjoyed our time and watching the birds on the water. Well equipped cottage, very clean and comfortable.

Had a great stay during an ice storm. Lost power, cell service and internet. The generator turned on automatically and power was restored! Clean and tidy. Great cottage would love to rent again. Host was pleasant and friendly!

Our stay at Bala’s place was a fantastic experience. We were a group of 8 including 4 tween aged children. The cottage is very well located , close to Port Perry and around 45 min to Peterborough. Lots of places to visit within the Trent Severn Waterway area. Bala graciously allow us an early check-in. His place is very cute, neat, super clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals and to entertain both children and adults alike. The game room is a great addition to the cottage. Walking distance to Lake Scugog, we were able to have nice walks after a delicious BBQ dinner. The deck and the fire pit allowed us to share quality family time while enjoying nature at its best. Thank you Bala for such a warm welcome with popcorn and soda !!. We appreciated very much your always friendly and promptly response to our needs. I will definitely recommend anyone to have a great and relaxing experience at your cottage. It is worth it !
