Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Strathcona

Loved Eureka! It was a beautiful special place. Incredibly peaceful, quiet, literally right on the edge of the cliff and the beautiful park with amazing trails. So great to have a hot tub for the cool nights, so much space and privacy. The home was clean, welcoming with a great kitchen, used the bbq each night. Beaches and the market require driving (or a longer bike ride) which was the only thing that was not perfectly ideal for us, but mostly because we had 4 not yet driving teens who sometimes had different ideas about where they wanted to go. But everything on Hornby is close so it was a very minor issue for us and the beauty of the location made up for that!

Danielle and Devin were both super helpful and accommodating. The house gave lots of space for our large group to spread out. Absolutely loved having the two living rooms!! Very comfortable chairs and couches. And greatly stocked kitchens with all the necessary pans and utensils for cooking meals for a large group! The hot tub and pool were the cherry on top.

What a wonderful place. Our family had a wonderful time. It was everything we wanted for a quick getaway. The kitchen had all the amenities and the deck and the dock were amazing.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful, with stunning views. Andrew was incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring that we had all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and an enjoyable stay. One minor note is that the Google Maps directions were a bit confusing at first, but Andrew was quick to respond with clear instructions, we were able to find the place without much trouble. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay at Mount Washington. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed a couple of nights at Zac’s and it was more than I expected in most ways. Really well equipped and the chalet felt more spacious than the photos showed. The view was spectacular. I’d forgotten how much I love Mr Washington. Pay attention to your welcome package. In the busyness of organizing everyone on day one, I hadn’t read the hot tub instructions properly but Zac was so gracious with his prompt replies. At check-out we forgot a little bag of garbage under the sink. Hopefully that’s forgiven. I would highly recommend this place for value; we were there in September so not as costly as ski season. Thank-you Zac!

This was the second time that we stayed here and we will stay there again next time we’re in Powell River. Location is great and had everything we needed. Loved our stay.

Had a great stay here with my two kids and our dog. Stayed for two weeks and would definitely recommend for long stays. The place has everything you need and close to shops to get anything else you might be looking for. Grocery delivery availabe, Uber eats too in case you don’t feel like cooking and plenty of local attractions to keep you busy!

Marni and Jeff’s place exceeded our expectations, it was fantastic! Very clean, it had everything we needed, and the hot tub was wonderful. We will definitely stay again!

Heather and Bob, are amazing hosts and just the most genuine people to say the least! They went above an beyond to accommodated the two of us , and Molson ( 4 pawed friend ) during our stay when mother nature had left the property with no power for 50+ hours. The length of this outage was out of there control. We had arrived for our stay as the wind storm had just finished and left the Aerie with no power, they could of cancelled the reservation ( as we had not checked in yet ) and left us 8 hours from home on the start of our honeymoon/vacation with no ware to stay, but they welcomed my wife I into there residence that has a backup generator until the power was restored. We experienced nothing but the best of there hospitality and generosity to accommodate us in there home. Thank you Heather and Bob once again !

During our stay, we spotted a family of deer on our first morning. The hot tub was nice to enjoy. Check in was relatively easy, go to listing and unhide the code. We had what we needed for a large group, in terms of cutlery, cups, etc. Beds were really comfortable and the overall house was large and spacious for our group of 10 people. Good water pressure, but strong mineral or pipe smell. We just bought lots of bottled water for the group. We tried the water from the fridge but it was still strong, and this could be an island water thing, we aren't sure. The home is in a remote area, about 1.2km to the main road, so having a vehicle is a must, as nothing is in walking distance. Home is dated but that was expected and agrees to photos. If your guests are afraid of bugs, probably not ideal, as we had wasp and a few silverfish in the home (cup holders in the couch). Not sure how my nephew even noticed them. Overall, a great stay and recommended for large groups.

We stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights to celebrate my mother’s 75th birthday. Everything was perfect! Micheal is an exceptional host and the property is beyond anything we could have imagined. The house, the suite, the pool and waterfront were a dream and to be able to share it with the whole family was a once in a lifetime experience. The house is stocked with everything you could need and is beautiful and warm (the perfect sitting nook exists here!). I couldn’t recommend this place enough. There is nothing quite like it anywhere on Vancouver island/gulf islands. 10/5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️

We had an incredible stay at the Founders villa. The air bnb had exceeded our expectations, the photos did not do the place justice. We did a fishing charter with Jeff which was a highlight for our group- would definitely recommend that! The general store had all the basic necessities in case you forget anything and all the staff were very helpful with assisting us to make sure we were taken care of. The beautiful views from each room, the sound of the creek beside the house, and the sound of a crackling fire made for a very peaceful retreat. We were very sad to leave when it was time to say goodbye. We hope to be back sometime!

Exactly what we were hoping for and Cody had the fire going in the cabin, firepit ready to go as well outside! Felt right at home. Great girls weekend away

amazing host. nice stay. hot tub. I wasn't able to make it the first night due to ferry cancelations so she was willing to move the stay date for me. absolutely amazing. super easy to communicate with and peraonalble.

This was such a gorgeous little getaway. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and robes were even provided. The cabin had everything you’d want, the hot tub had amazing harbour views and the water was so beautiful to wake up to. We especially enjoyed taking out the kayaks and had amazing interactions with some very playful and curious seals who loved to follow us and show off beside our boats. The stairs getting down into the cabin are steep and rocky so definitely be careful in the colder months! All in all, it was a perfect retreat. I really want to come back in the summer!

My mom and I stayed here for our annual girls getaway. We hiked Mt.Becher & hiked around near Comox lake. We loved coming back to the space to enjoy the hot tub. It was peaceful with no sounds and very cozy with the fireplace. This was one of our favourites to date. Thank you so much. The hosts were always responsive and helpful as well! 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The view was beautiful and it was super cozy with the fireplace and Christmas tree. Cathy was really friendly and responded super quickly to my messages. The location was very convenient, close to Discovery foods and bakery. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for our small family reunion of 14 people. Great for adults and kids. Basement perfect for the kids to have space away from the adults. As a fellow air bnb'er, some recommendations needed are: a dry food storage cupboard is needed in the kitchen - we had to store food on the floor and window sils and laundry soap would be nice to wash towels. Other than that it was perfect!

We had a great time at Paul's place, private and peaceful. Watched the stars from the hot tub and sunset from divers rock (quick walk). The snorkeling around divers rock is fantastic at low tide, provided the ocean chill doesn't take you out too fast! The yurt was a really neat experience, well insulated and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

A wonderful stay! Exactly as advertised and more. Such a great location close to beautiful trails and beaches. Cabin is so spacious, two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, two TVs. Backyard is well fenced and the hot tub is awesome!
