Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Strathcona

We really enjoyed our stay. We used hot tub every day, kayaked, relaxed by the fire on the lower deck, made burgers on the BBQ and had tea and coffee on the upper deck during the day. Our dog didn't want to leave on the last day and was sitting on the deck looking at the view until the last minute. We really liked the little fence that prevented her from wondering off too far. Landscaping is beautiful and the indoor plants as well, makes you feel like you are in some place more tropical, especially around the hot tub. It's really quiet and peaceful as others have mentioned. Bedding was soft and beds were comfortable (both in the main and the extra suite). Kitchen has plenty of pots and pans. The indoor fireplace was not working but the cute electric candles were a nice touch. We hope to come back again.

Great location within easy walking distance of Comox restaurants and shops yet still quiet and secluded. Nice and deceptively big inside. Only downside is one bathroom but it’s a nice one. For the two of us I found it expensive but for the five people it can easily accommodate it would be better value.

We had a lovely time. The house is comfortable nice and clean. Beautiful view and in a quiet neighbourhood. The host responded quickly to all our questions. We recommend this house :-)

Had such an amazing weekend with friends! The hot tub was so relaxing and loved that the towels had been left out for us. The beds and linens were so comfortable, I forgot my pillow but the ones supplied were numerous and comfy! We all went to the local pub for an evening meal and drinks where the food, service and music were all so great! Can't wait to return during the summer where we will also enjoy the beach!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as a family of 4 adults and a young toddler. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we would need. We appreciated that there were spices available for cooking as we were worried about having to buy spices for a short 2 week stay. We were very comfortable in the home and enjoyed the smart-tv and layout of the house which was overall quite child-friendly. We also liked that the temperature of each room was independently controlled so we could all have the temp we like in our respective rooms. Overall we highly recommend this home for your next vacation and would definitely look to stay here again in the future!

The house had feelings of luxury and grandeur. More importantly the home has been heavily invested in, updated and provisioned. From the huge and open main floor/kitchen/loving room area to the hideaway bedrooms on the lower floor, it’s a wonderfully divided space with a nice deck overlooking the shipping channel. I recommend and would return.

Can’t say enough good things about this spot. It was well stocked, great layout, host communicated well with us. We were in CR for a golf trip, when we weren’t golfing we were able to relax in a beautiful setting on the river.

Had a great stay here with my two kids and our dog. Stayed for two weeks and would definitely recommend for long stays. The place has everything you need and close to shops to get anything else you might be looking for. Grocery delivery availabe, Uber eats too in case you don’t feel like cooking and plenty of local attractions to keep you busy!

A newly renovated suite with two very comfortable beds on a beautiful piece of land looking out over the Salish Sea. You won't forget this one!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. Extremely peaceful and you cannot beat the unobstructed views of Georgia Strait and mountains! Five star property. Comfortable, cozy and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was as advertised and Alana was a very gracious host. I definitely will be back to this beautiful place (and I don’t usually go to the same places but this one I will). Highly recommend for 1-2 people.

This was a great place, it was so clean and pretty... Bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The location had a great view and was just up from town. I will book this place again! Thank you for such a great stay !

What a peaceful spot! This was a lovely little place to stay. The host was kind enough not only to greet us and show us around, but also light the grill for us to have a BBQ :) thanks!

Everyone was very friendly with a nice cozy space. Walking down the river to see the falls and pools was a highlight! Quick drive to mount Washington. Lots of wildlife in the neighbourhood- bears, deer, and elk!

Perfect location for us with a beautiful beach nearby. The unit was spacious and clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. We were traveling with another older adult and the unit was easy for her to access without steps. The beds were comfortable with very nice linens. The living area was not cluttered but included local maps and photo books to inspire our local travel. Communication was easy. Kelly is a helpful host, providing a wagon to assist us in moving our bags and food into the unit, and including fresh fruit and cream in the unit for us, and ensuring automatic lights outside to help us as we returned after dark. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Coastline Cabin is in an amazing location right on the beach. It has a mesmerising view and we were able to watch otters, orcas and seals plus many seabirds from the deck. Our daughter and son-in-law stayed here 2 years ago and told us we’d love it - and they were right! The cabin is really well equipped and we were able to cook our own meals easily. The bed and sofas were comfortable and there was a breakfast bar to eat at if you didn’t want to sit outside! Janet was really helpful and friendly, advising us about local walks etc. we also really enjoyed meeting Sherman the very friendly Alsatian - who reminded us of our dogs in the UK! We did a Homalco Tours Bear and Whale watching trip from Campbell River (approx 35 mins drive from the cabin) one day - which was really interesting and enabled us to see a grizzly bear and humpback whales. Would highly recommend Coastline Cabin!

Neo & Sky's place is a great small oasis in the Forrest, with lots of love for small details and cozy cabins. We had a great stay! The open kitchen concept and showers give it a natural touch, though I guess when it gets colder it could be more inconvenient. hence, perfect place for the summer months!

My mom and I stayed here for our annual girls getaway. We hiked Mt.Becher & hiked around near Comox lake. We loved coming back to the space to enjoy the hot tub. It was peaceful with no sounds and very cozy with the fireplace. This was one of our favourites to date. Thank you so much. The hosts were always responsive and helpful as well! 100% recommend!

This place is just amazing. Very comfortable, private, quiet and beautiful surroundings. It is an excellent location for a longer stay. It is close to the beach, and the forest. Best place to relax. You will find everything you need to feel very spacial at this place. Highly recommend.

Bailey’s cabin is one of our top Airbnb’s that we’ve stayed at so far! The cabin had everything we needed and the bedroom and yard was super cozy and private. We really appreciated how Bailey was quick to respond to questions. It was so peaceful and exactly the relaxing getaway we were hoping for. 100% recommend!

Jenn and Pat were amazing hosts. Place was magical and peaceful. Hot tub and giant windows make watching the farm animals stroll by fun. (Bring carrots). We will stay again when possible and highly recommend.

An absolutely gorgeous space with such thoughtful attention to detail like a clock that doesn't tick and blackout blinds. Every aesthetic and practical choice fit so well together and contributed to a very relaxing stay. Super grateful. Definitely would recommend.

Mara’s is a truly exquisite place to stay. Words almost cannot convey how pampered you feel as you experience some of the most beautiful surroundings that nature has to offer. Kim was an amazing host… Proactive, took time to write us so that we would look and listen for the whales, right out in front of the house, asked after our arrival plans and consulted on making sure the ferry would get us there at the time we wanted to arrive. The house is beautifully furnished and is just as it appears in the photos. We felt very cozy and pampered, freed up to enable us to stay in or go out and explore the wildlife.
