Monthly Rentals in Strait Shores

Wonderful place! I stayed here for a 10 day stretch during the early fall. I travelled back and forth to Amherst for work and was glad to call Wayne's place home during this time. Overall, an amazing experience - the surroundings were beautiful, the host was friendly and helpful, the cottage was cozy, clean, and well equipped. I can't wait to stay here again.

It was a very short stay and right away we wished we were staying longer. John & Linda are excellent hosts and their place is even better in person than what you see in the pictures. There are too many little touches to mention but suffice it to say you'll appreciate all of the little touches. Everything is spotless including the property. We felt at home immediately, had everything we would need or want, and can't wait to return. The property is a short drive to groceries, restaurants and service stations. It's not far from the Confederation bridge and Nova Scotia border if you're travelling from, or looking to visit PEI and Nova Scotia. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had a lovely, peaceful stay. The house was very cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was also very nicely decorated and had lots of space. We would love to stay here again. I’m sure it would be an awesome in the summer months.

From the moment we arrived, our host went above & beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. To my lovely surprise, I found a personal plate of homemade cookies waiting.The cookies were a heartfelt touch, evoking sweet memories of my late grandmother, reminding me that she was somehow present with us on my special day.The cottage itself was quaint & cozy w/all the amenities we needed, nestled amongst the perfect backdrop for relaxation & rest.We spent lazy mornings sipping tea & delightful evenings soaking in the hot tub sharing stories & enjoying each other’s company. This experience was not only a celebration of my milestone but also a beautiful reminder of the importance of family, friendship, & even the subtle magic of shared smells & tastes from cherished pasts. If you’re looking for a cozy retreat infused with warmth and thoughtful gestures, you won’t find a better place than this cottage. I can't recommend it highly enough!
