I had a truly wonderful experience at this property. The home itself was absolutely beautiful, tastefully designed, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set it apart, though, was the peaceful environment. Surrounded by nature and tranquility, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We know we got a gem of a location during the off season for Arcadia. The location was close enough for us to walk to a lot of different places. The recommendations for local food and coffee was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Sabrina's place for 2 nights while visiting Acadia. The property is very private and quiet. it had a view of the cove right behind the house. We enjoyed going out there to see the sunrise. The house is very clean and organized. It had everything we needed for out stay. I would recommend this if your looking for a place away from the crowds of Acadia National Park.

We absolutely loved our stay! We rented the house for 7 adults and 1 dog to celebrate a 31st bday! We loved being able to walk right down to the tasting room for a beer, cook a big dinner in the kitchen, play games, and watch the amazing vcr collection. Everything was clean and comfortable. So glad it’s a dog friendly space!

Patrick’s place felt just like home for our family! Everything we wanted to do and see was nearby, and it was nice to have stores and shops walkable from the property. The home itself was very comfortable and was the perfect place to come home to after visiting the National Park and Bar Harbor. Thanks again Patrick!

This was the most well-equipped AirBnb I've ever stayed in! From batteries and laundry detergent to kitchen appliances and reusable shopping bags, it really felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this spot!

We had a great stay at this house. It was an awesome location, very private, and not too far from necessities. The house was incredible and very well organized for easy living experience. Rebecca was great with the check in and check out instructions. Everything we had to do was very clear. I also left some clothing in the dryer and she was great with quick communication in order for me to be able to get my things back after we had already checked out. 100% would visit again.

A beautiful, historical home. Walkable location- easy to get to restaurants and shopping. The home has plenty of room for a large group of people! The home is well decorated, well thought out- including labels everywhere so you can find what you need. The rooms and beds were cozy. My kids enjoyed a game of hide and seek in this massive place! The kitchen was a dream to cook in! Cale was an amazing host- super responsive, so helpful and kind! Would definitely stay again!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! We had a lovely time and we would most definitely come back!!! 🥰

This lovely apartment directly overlooking the park in downtown Bar Harbor was the perfect place for our family. With grandparents, parents, two small children, and a chihuahua, we had room to spread out, sleep comfortably, walk to the beach and the park, shop, and eat wonderful food and ice cream. I would want others to know that the stairs up to the apartment are steep, a tiny bit tricky for the senior with bad knees and the toddlers with short legs. The apartment has a Smart TV, which wasn't really watchable for us. If they had cable it would have been just perfect! Overall, this place was in a dream location and afforded all of us a chance to relax and enjoy the gorgeous fall weekend in Maine.

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samantha's place in Cushing. To say that she is "very responsive" would be an understatement. She typically responded within 10 minutes no matter what my question was. She lives a short distance away which really helped facilitate things. We had a minor issue with the Internet which required communication with the service provider, but she coordinated everything and resolved it right away. The house is totally charming - old, a bit creaky and adorable - and well maintained (no issues there). We imagined how great it would be to visit in wintertime and snuggle up to a roaring fire. They have an expansive yard with gardens great for a short evening stroll. Forest habitat behind the property was great for bird watching. The area is absolutely beautiful - quintissential coastal Maine. The Olson House (local attraction) is a few minutes drive from the house. The grounds have a walking trail along the water with fantastic views of the coast.

What an amazing time I had at this place! I got married to my best friend and we had our families joined together! Everyone cooking every night, beach walks, board games, and fires for when it got a little cold. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding week! Thank you so much to Paul and Shankari for being wonderful helpful host!

Great stay with our pup Gus! Place was clean and organized! About 30 min away from local Walmart so not to far but overall peaceful and serene! Would definitely book in future!

"From my daughter: This is our 3rd trip to Acadia National Park, but the first time at this Air B&b. Originally it was supposed to be for 5 of us, but 3 couldn't make it, so it ended up just being my husband and I. The Air B&b is in a remote enough area that it is nice and peaceful, but still an easy 20-30 minute drive to almost anywhere on Mt. desert island. The house has so many thoughtful touches, like an area outside for a campfire, supplies for smores, basic seasoning and condiments, all the light switches labeled (so thankful for that!), etc. We did a grocery run our first day and came back to the house for almost all our meals. This was a cozy place and we'd recommend to anyone visiting Mt. Desert Island and would return here again if we come back in the future."

We greatly enjoyed our time at Slice of Haven. It was clean and comfortable and we all felt right at home. Krista and Joe were gracious hosts and helped recommend local attractions to see and restaurants to eat out.
