We ate at local restaurant A Tavola (1min walk from the house) and it was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended property!

The house was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic stay, it's very close to a large park where we had lovely sunny walks. The location was perfect for us as it's very close to where my sister lives and also lots of shops and a great cafe (Mediterranean Cafe) very close. Heather was really helpful and responsive and had all we needed to stay very comfortably with our 7 month old baby. We would come back here in a heartbeat as it was such a great experience. We absolutely loved our stay here. The host was so friendly and easy to communicate with — always quick to respond and really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The cottage itself was super cozy and had such a warm, welcoming feel. The calm and quiet of the surroundings gave us the space to truly relax. We’d definitely love to come back!

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Four generations of our family enjoyed a memorable weekend at Harlequin Cottage. Finding somewhere to suit toddlers, the elderly and a dog wasn't easy but this felt like home from home. Angela fielded an array of questions from my family with patience and provided a lovely welcome hamper. We loved the flock of wooden ducks, the toiletries and views.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We had the best time at Teal cottage with 6 friends. The walk into holmfirth is only ten minutes, and there’s loads of coffee shops, a few nice restaurants and pubs, as well as charity shops, walks and runs nearby. We spent a day at the yorkshire sculpture park which was fun too. But mostly we just enjoyed spending time in the house! Cooking facilities, hot tub, TV and games were perfect and we had a fab, very relaxing post exams celebration. If anything it was better than the photos! Like people say in other reviews, the deposit was initially off putting but when Angela explained I felt comfortable with it. The drive is steep but work on your clutch control and you’ll be fine!! Overall absolutely spot on for 6 people for a few days away, with room for extras if we come back in future! Thank you

Had such a wonderful stay at this location. The amenities were amazing, particularly loved the farm produce and onsite pool! The hosts were always responsive and keen to help. The place was spotless and well stocked! Would love to stay again!

Booth Farm was beautiful and in a lovely quiet setting (not easy to find so I would use the suggestion of what three words. Duncan went over and above with helping us choose bedrooms for our children and always really responsive. The cottage was stunning, lovely bedrooms, comfy beds and we especially loved the roll top baths. The guidebook has everything we needed to check in so it was really simple, we also liked the recommendations for days out and food. The local Italian was lovely. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we would love to return

Me and my partner stayed for three nights for a little birthday get away. We had an amazing time, the hut was immaculate and felt so homely. There were many restaurants and cafes in the area and the scenery was beautiful. We had an amazing view of the horses in the field aswell! We would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a nice, peaceful getaway but also somewhere that you can explore aswell. Thankyou so much Nic!

Thank you Jane, Welcomed upon arrival. We’d had a long journey & Jane came over briefly and explained everything to us concisely & wished us a lovely stay! Superb location that included beautiful strolls along the fields! Great for walking & getting lost in the beautiful scenery. Jane’s place was spotless! Bedding & towels were lovely. Could not find one downside anywhere. The waterfall Three Shires is a five minute drive (cafe along the roadside). We parked up & took a lovely hour stroll to find it! Our first trip to a waterfall & not the last. Very attractive place & great location. The village of Leek was around a 10 minute drive & has everything in it that you need! Thank you Jane.

Kate and Alan were wonderful and very accommodating hosts. The little touches of homemade jam and a loaf of bread were so thoughtful. There is everything you need for a very cosy homely stay. Very close to some breathtaking walks and views and gentle strolls along the canal are very close too. Very quiet and a wonderful location for exploring Poynton and the Peaks.

An amazing few days away, the cottage nice and warm, spotlessly clean,tranquil and the tonic we both needed, the EV charger a winner, made it so easy as we got back each night to charge, beautiful location with great onsite amenities, a little community and close to all the places we wanted to visit, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Matlock, Chatsworth - kitchen had all the mod-cons and although we didn’t use the honesty shop, well stocked for the items you’ve forgot - a big thankyou, hope to return, next time we’ll have more time to climb the mountain !
