What a great house to base a trip to explore Charlottesville and the Northern Shenandoah Valley out of! Monticello, The Blue Ridge Parkway, wineries; all waiting for your arrival. Steve and Debbie’s Rose Cottage all of the amenities to set the mood for a wonderful adventure. Oh, did I mention the heated bathroom floor? Toasty!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place close to the ski lodge. A must stay.

We spent a lovely Christmas at Gramdma's house. The house was very easy to find using the map reference supplied, and there was plenty of room for parking. The house was very much traditional, with a very much "retro" theme, furnished as it would have been in the 1970s. It was a unique experience, and could never be described as modern! It was very comfortable, well stocked, and Kim was a wonderful host. It is a short, 5 minute walk to the Inn at Little Washington.

My group stayed at this listing while in town for a concert at John Paul Jones arena. This was one of the most well stocked places I have ever stayed - with not only toiletries but kitchen & food items as well. Such a nice touch that made my friends and I feel right at home. Very spacious and even had multiple different seating areas. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay during the ski season. Very easy access, and the detailed instructions for getting there / parking were very helpful. The checkout process was easy and took minimal effort. Extra points for the snack basket on the kitchen counter. A welcome touch for a late-evening arrival when the stores were closed.

Leah's places is as advertised. She was conscientious about describing the location and proximity of traffic and sounds. It is easy to get to from various roadways. A great place to use as base to explore nearby trails, waterfalls, breweries, caverns, & skiing/tubing. Leah's did a lovely job refurbishing a historic building (gas station)! If visiting in the cooler months, remember to pack slippers or warm socks as the sealed concrete floor can be chilly. The small place is perfect and well thought out.

This was such a magical place! We had so much room and everything we needed here. I can’t wait to come back with our family and stay here next year. This is the perfect location and so peaceful❤️

This is an excellent cottage with great value, great also for a solo traveler event though it's billed as romantic. I liked that the stairs were wide and very safe leading to the loft bed. The views are great and the interior is modern. This proves key for a no fuss experience. I wish I stayed more nights and for sure would come back when the weather is warmer.

Took my nephews up for snow tubing and the house was beautiful and the game room in basement was perfect for the boys during the snow storm we had. The host had prepared us with snow shovel and ice melt. We had an amazing time with beautiful scenery and will definitely be back!
