House vacation rentals in State College

This is by far one of the best Airbnb's that we have stayed at! Katie is very responsive and the description of her home is exactly how you will find it. Most importantly, her home is VERY clean! The kitchen if fully stocked with everything you will need (coffee, creamers, sugar, paper plates, fridge w/ ice machine, any spice that you can think of, etc.). We booked our stay to make sure that we were there for the opening day of trout season. Sherman's Creek runs right along the property and is right down the hill from the house. It was very convenient to be so close to the water. There were locals there fishing and they were extremely nice. It rained a little while we were out fishing, but with the house being so close, we were able to walk up the hill, throw our semi-wet clothing in the dryer, and head back out once the rain stopped. We will definitely return to Katie's property for another vacation. It was exactly what we needed. Privacy, wonderful views, and relaxation!

I loved staying here! Very peaceful, very clean and it was really fun to have access to the pool! Jeff was proactive and communicated very quickly with any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!

Crystal Beech was amazing. The house is beautiful with plenty of room. The location is quiet and the creek and other scenery is very nice. 2 bedrooms downstairs and 1 large one upstairs. It was a perfect way for the teens to have their own space. The ping pong table was a huge hit with the kids! Soooo many windows made watching the sunrise easy! The pool looks awesome… but not the right time of the year for us to use it. The Kitchen had everything we needed to cook home cooked meals. Amy was great to deal with! We had 1 small issue and Amy was very quick to respond and super understanding.

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view and a quiet environment.

The home was spotless and looked just like photos. Looks to be a recent quality renovation. The place was also stocked with all the conveniences and comforts for our family of 4 to relax and enjoy. The beds were extra comfy and linens crisp. We came to town to support my son in a basketball tournament. The space was perfect for our family and the kids loved the playroom. We’d definitely come back and stay again. Worth it!

Location is great for area activities. Matched the listing. Worked great for my family and dog. The neighborhood was easy for dog walking.

We enjoyed our stay at Matthew & Chelsea’s place! It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The fenced yard was good for our dogs and there was a nice dog park down the street.

Mary’s place was fantastic. I booked for a weekend and I’m so happy I did. The place was gorgeous- the bedrooms were spacious and perfect to stay in, the bathroom was INCREDIBLE and so clean, and I adored the living room space. The kitchen was gorgeous and me and my boyfriend felt right at home. I would 100% book again.

Cozy spot with peaceful Elk Creek in the backyard. A nice location to range for trout fishing opportunities - easy to Penns and Big Fishing creek.

We had a quiet, comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, the central air functional, and there was hardly any street noise. The Wifi was strong as well. This location is close to grocery stores and a few restaurants, and a short drive from Penn State.

Host was very responsive and helpful. Place was as described. It is a very large vintage farmhouse. Had the looks and feel of staying at grandma’s house with plenty of space to spread out. Only negative, was because the house had carpets, drapes, pillows etc., it was tough on my allergies. I stayed in the room with the two beds because it was without carpet and it was fine after I removed the pillows. The other guests in my party had no issues.

This is the second time we have stayed at Veronica's place during our visit to the Middle School State Championship Basketball Tournament. The AirBnB worked out perfectly - set up and comfortable enough for a great experience, but rugged enough to house a team of respectful teenage basketball players. The boys had a blast shooting pool, watching March Madness on the big screen, having a hot sauce eating contest purchased at Bass Pro Shops, relaxing in the hot tub, and spending the night around a campfire. Great spot and terrific hosts.

House was absolutely incredible. Very clean. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Lots of different spaces to hang out. Lots of TVs for enjoying many sports all weekend- also included YouTube TV which was awesome for being able to watch all the big games! Hot tub was nice for nighttime. Large yard to run around and play lots of games. Also utilized the fire pit with plenty of wood and the grill was great for a late snack! Worth the price you pay and would definitely come back again!

We stayed here for a Penn State game. We were a quick and easy drive to the stadium. The house was very thoughtfully stocked and especially great for the kids!

We had a great stay at Brenden’s, the place was very well maintained, and provided plenty of room for four of us (2 adults, 2 kids under 7). House is very cozy and well equipped, even though there are some neighbors around the area, you still get plenty of privacy and nice surroundings. Kids loved the fire pit, didn’t get a chance to use the grill this time but it was in good shape. Great communication from the hosts, look forward to staying again on trips up North.

Landon’s cabin would be a perfect stay for any family or group looking to get away. The house has everything you could need to keep yourself entertained, and the town is local to plenty of stores and restaurants. The hot tub and fire pit were beautiful and set up perfectly, super easy to use. Landon was a perfect host, responding quickly and making sure we arrived safely, as well as making us a house guide to get us through any questions we had during the weekend. I could not have asked for a better AirBnB experience than Landon’s cabin, we will definitely be back for skiing season.

We had a wonderful stay at Joe's place. We were in town with our basketball team. the girls had a blast playing pool and hanging in the hot tub. thank you, Joe!!! everything was great.

Jennifer was very nice. She communicated with me about some changes to the property as a result of previous renters. My family had a great time. The location is amazing. It really caters to families! Hope to rent there again. Maybe for another Easter!
